I really enjoyed the Danish gentleman‘s British English accent. He could be an outstanding co-presenter of your videos. Btw, I am from Germany and I have just managed to get my mother-in-law a 2019 second hand KIA Sportage after she crashed her 2012 Mitsubishi ASX. Anyway, the KIA is almost fully loaded with AWD and she got blown away by the amount of amenities that she never knew would exist. The differences between the ASX und Sportage are like night and day. It’s a Diesel engine on 19 inch rims that blends perfectly with the canyon silver paint. It got only 16900 km and in addition to that, more than 5 years of remaining warranty. At 21.000 Euros from a KIA dealership. It’s unbelievable how much value you get for that price tag. Ironically, I am indeed an enthusiast of German car brands but my encounter with KIA made me reconsidering my approach when it comes to choosing a new car. Looking forward to the next generation Tucson. Cheers and keep up that awesome job.

Seen quite a few reviews on the kia sportage from UK and Europe, but this Asian review on the sportage was by far the best one, because you guy's talked more on the sportages positive things like drive, interior, comfort.

Excellent review with the Asian and Denmark gentlemen. It was a very detailed review that was done by them. I'm in south Florida, USA and I have a red 2020 Kia Sportage, with absolutely no complaints from me. So far it's a beautiful, sporty and reliable SUV.

Good owners review. I have to say, the owner really liked driving, you can tell by his actions. He his a gentleman, honest, knows his car, I mean the car he drives been that he drives his car a lot so he notices a lot of good and bad points with the car.
He does have a point, paddle shifters are not really needed. There are some futures in modern cars that are not needed.

I have a 2017 Hyundai Tucson. I went with the Tucson because I wanted AWD. It has been one of the biggest mistakes. The first was getting a Hyundai. They don’t care about their consumers. My car has been blowing headlights- having electrical issues (my auto windows go back down when you roll them up, my rear windshield wipers go off whenever they want, my break light seems to go on and off at random. I have reached out because as a company they should only want the best products out there. I was told that “because my car is over 3 years old. There is nothing they can do for me. To bring it to a dealer and “see what I can get” for it. I owe more than it’s worth because one thing they don’t tell you when you buy a Hyundai is they depreciate way faster than you can make payments to survive. DO NOT BUY A HYUNDAI.

As for the back seats middle seat seatbelt, it is not designed to be jiggling. There's actually a 'hole' you can put it in, on the spot it is mounted, try to look carefully and you'll find it.

On my vehicle, to get the reverse tilt to work on my side mirrors, the mirror control has to be set on either left or right. If the control is set to the middle it will not tilt down in reverse😁

LOL! The water continually leaking from the side mirrors after a car wash is a big pet peeve of mine! I get so frustrated with the streaks that get on the side of the door! Ugh!

We are all greatful to have this channel. I might be misinformed by this, but the amber lights are there due to regulatory reasons. Safety regulations changes doesn't go as fast as manufacturer design cycles or customer's logic. Audi have to follow the same design action as well. So depends on geographical location or local regulations. The basic safety functions and features may be different.
Totally agree with the shift lever comment. I prefer a button or dial type since it's all electrically shift control. I remember how older cars had the shift lever behind the steering wheel. I guess changes are usually motivated by regulations or profit and not by trends as most of us want.

I like the silver best on the Sportage. Well, he’s owned a lot of cars and he’s going back to a sedan. The new Optima is incredible for the money. All car makers should have voice controls for everything on within the infotainment.

This is the UKs 7th best selling car! I have gone from 3 c classes and a GLC Coupe to move to hyundai and Kia. I have an i30 1.4 auto premium SE which I really can’t believe the amount u get to your money and it’s an unbelievably refined and efficient engine. I just got a Toyota Corolla hybrid but I was keen to get the XCeed hybrid but it wasn’t out when I ordered the car. I really hope genesis comes to the UK so I can move to get like a g70 etc. Unfortunately Kia and Hyundai are not doing the i40/sontana and Kia Optima new generation in the UK anymore :( great brand and people should really look to a brand like them when coming from crappy big brands that charge for every possible option. These cars are well priced, efficient, reliable, cheap to maintain and great everyday cars, they just don’t have that branding like the Germans to make u feel special.
he does it exactly like me , i sit in the car in the show room for quite a while before test driving it, i will go through all the features and check everything . even sit at the back . test drive has to be a long one not just around the block . if possible some dealers can lent u a loan car similar to your choice you test drive for a day or over the weekend .

My mom just got her Sportage SX as her new uber car after her 2013 Soul she was driving clocked 180k miles trouble free. And that thing is quick for being a crossover. I did matte wrap to piano gloss interior panels because they were bothering her

39:47 Totally agree with you guys, incandescent lights for turn signals and backup lights should be replaced with LEDs. They should have put LED turn signals and backlights on the upcoming Optima/K5. I hope someone from HMC design management watched this.

Asian Petrolhead Thank You so much! I only ask because the cars you review and talk most about. I always look when you’re driving to see other makes of cars. I myself have a Chevy Impala 2017 model the middle model with the pano roof in that Awesome Red tint coat. I just put a ceramic coating on and 3 days later 7 inches of Snow yesterday. 1 day 72 degrees next day 30 degrees. Talk about Range LOL Only here in New England. Love your Work and the fact I can clearly understand and listen when you speak. Been with you since the beginning. Your channel keeps getting better and better. 👍

Aside from the facelift, Sportage in North America has(had?) also kinda "off-road" variation with a different bumper, which makes it look really ugly. Maybe that's why you've noticed the difference.

I think the Korean guy is biased and says a bit too often "that's nice, yeah !" or "isn't that nice" ? In other words, the whole thing is kinda biased. Overall, I didn't get much information from this "review".

Amber alert??? Amber alert as in a child kidnapping so look out for this car??? 🤤 So Korea has a problem with child kidnapping?
And I notice that the infotainment system is in English. So I'm guessing that during the purchasing process, the owner requested that everything in the infotainment system is in English. So the dealer changed the setting before delivery. Or the owner could do it simply from the settings menu? I guess if I ever move to Korea and purchase a car, the first thing I should see if the infotainment system could be switched to English. I could adapt to metric. But trying to read the navigation system in Korean while travelling at 100kph is dangerous 😁🤦♂️
