@@DEFYNman even knowing id never walk out of a 1v1 id still try all day. There is nothing like going against someone who is not only better than you but who also respects the game as much if not more.
This plane was actually broken for a long time it would just completely die above 3k. Your prop efficiency would start dropping by the time you hit 4k you were @ 60%. Then magically it was fixed no mention in any patch notes anywhere. I just happened to take it out a couple months ago. It was fixed and suddenly had an airspawn to boot.
I think gaijin just didn’t wanna admit they fucked up the xp50

You can feel the fear 109 players have when they see an American fighter, especially a rare one, above them in their initial climb...
Eh I mean a 109 with an American plane above it is a dead 109 most of the time, so rightfully so. Plus I myself hate rare planes, since I often have no idea what the fuck they're good at lol
XP-Fiddy has that air start which really helps. I LOVE this plane.... the teams, no so much, lol.

Also kill can only be stolen with intend. the p47 had no physical damage that showed he was dying.

I agree. Though I do wish that Gaijin would be a bit more generous in awarding assists, and making them count as half-kills towards your kill count like irl would likely also help with people getting so kill-thirsty in this game.

yooooo, I had that kind of incident yesterday in an F-82 when I saved a B-17 from being shot downed by a stalling 190 and I went near him to give a plane salute for being able to bomb 2 base and recieve no damage only to be shotdown by that same B-17 because I stole his "kill".
That's just quite sad the B-17 thought that.
This plane turns better, climbs better than the br 109 at the same tier, and the xp50 still gets an airspawn.
@J at least the yaw axis and compression on the xp50s are worse than bf 109. Plus German superior design gives you the stall control and the German airbrake, so force an overshoot is most viable.
its counted as an interceptor and interceptors get air spawns so yeah
I've noticed lately during this summer event people have been extra salty and showing extremely poor behavior. Not sure that it's really related, but it seems so. I'm also seeing far more foul language and trash talk. It's gotten much worse suddenly after my 10 years or so of playing. I've been keeping up with summer event and I really enjoy events like that but they seem to bring out the worst in people. Gaijin does nothing to help either

@@Oddball_E8 Honestly its why I rarely play this game at all anymore. The grind and p2w shit just encourages poor player behaviour and attitude which doesnt work well in a team game.
The problem is that the Summer and Winter events have requirements that for a lot of people are gonna be fairly random, the bombing objective is just about the only one that can be more or less guaranteed but then you have to do two others which have varying levels of randomness associated with them. That leads to a lot of frustration for the average player or a good player having a bad week. With the 2 days you're given to complete this it can get really frustrating if you're on the last day and missing like 10 kills or 5 victories and you can see the timer counting down. Then there's of course the added issue that a lot of players are gonna return only for these events in order to get the event vehicle and not anything else and those players are gonna get more easily frustrated and since they don't play the game regularly might not be as nice as the rest of the community since they're not as used to the community.
The assembly events as annoying as they are sometimes, are at least better since it is entirely consistent and predictable so you can relax and just play the game.

@@WigglyWings if you see a pretty big oil leak it's pretty evident that he'll lose that engine so I also consider that a kill steal if he's not going for another teammate
@@diogonunes1865 He can still kill your teammates. Kinda depends on the situation, if teammate is alone I will leave him. But if the damaged enemy is in a furball he can still kill 2-3 guys before going down. Never trust your teammate to kill the enemy lol.
i dont consider firekill as steal, if i am not diving onto him, but he is in front of my guns... if i am in good position, and he is not dead, i would be stupid to not finish the job^^
for all the other cases, yeah... would be stupid to f.e. dive on a tailless enemy... but i dont consider that the average player is very intelligent, makes life easier, when i dont expect too much.
gajins opinion on this:
if you kill something, you could not steal it from someone, because he didnt kill it, so there was nothing to steal^^ if you make the kill, its yours, if not then not.
Xp50 is 100% pay to win for it's tier. Best climb and turn rate for anything with the firepower and speed it has. It's a pain to go against.

The paper planes, plus those that were made but never made it to service, are always great performers in WT, its how they make money. This plane is faster, climbs better, turns better than all others (save zero's and spits) at its tier, and many of those at the next tier.

AN/M2/3 are the definite best 20mm in game for the simple reason that you can use them stock and will still one shot stuff. Sure, their shotgun spread unspaded is something to look out for but even with the spread, only one hit is enough to cripple a fighter.
Yes! I fell in love with AN/M2s when I got my SB2C, then absolutely head over heels when I got F4U-1C

There are 2 people I don’t want on my 6 in War Thunder, that’s Adam514 and DEFYN. This kind of behavior is very toxic and I have actually had to defend myself before from team mates. I 100% agree with what you did, you had to do it.

Adam is pretty good (from his videos at least), never flew against him though. DEFYN is ridiculously good, I watched him wipe the floor with my entire team, so clean, it shined. We never stood a chance.

I must have encountered that guy in a game recently because I got TK'd by someone after I killed a G.55S who wasn't seriously damaged.
I've had similar interactions with these types of savages on the interstate near Chicago. People let spite control their actions beyond the point of sanity and sometimes it's frightening.

Agree with you with the cannons, an/m3 are one of the best if not the best, you can hit targets at 900m with those like if the enemy plane is right in front of you. And the spit trying to kill you deserves what it get, claim kill steal and didnt hit a plane at all.
Ye, I agree too, AN/M3 are imo the best cannons you can find on prop-driven aircraft in the game right now, great fire rate, damage pretty much on par with Mg151/20 and good range and velocity, plus planes with them tend to come with assloads of ammo.
I once played with friends in Low tier with Italian Biplanes, some random He-51 started shooting at one of us the we agressively swatted that kid out of the sky.

What propeller pitch did you use that the engine did not overheat? In combat, i see u use 60..80% radiators in combat for colling or up speed
Man the XP-50 is just so disgusting. If played properly there is nothing anyone can do. It really should be 5.0 at bare minimum. Its just flat better than the F7F at 6.7, it accelerates worse and its a bit slower. Thats about it, meanwhile it out climbs literally everything, out turns almost everything, out guns almost everything, out speeds literally everything (except a do 335 in a straight line). The only thing that can touch it is a zero if the XP-50 for some reason gets into a low alt turn fight with it, I would put money on it beating a P51-NA any day. Yet I still see people fucking GROUND POUND in it or just not climb. And then people wonder why its so low br.
And to think F7F was developed from this shown it under BR

Thats especially common during those events where everyone is even greedier than usual. Though I have to admit when it comes to planes on fire: if the enemy is just on fire but still manouvering and friendlies are nearby, shoot it. I have seen too many teammates being shotdown because an enemy was still capable of fighting while on fire and the guy that set the fire had already turned away.

i remember one game i was in, where i was accused of teamkilling EVEN THO I WAS INNOCENT and later proved it in replays
sadly dont have it because it was a few updates ago
but i was in the P-47D-28, and i started to open fire at a Bf-109 that stalled infront of me, all the sudden, one enemy i didn't pay attention to dove and flew right infront of me then below, and my friendly followed, and it wasn't the enemy i ended up shooting it was my teammate that i accidentally set on fire
i killed the Bf-109 but felt so bad
another time i legit had someone steal 2 kills
because i set them on fire and broke off and boom someone else killed them while they were burning
Dude, if you like the damage that AN/M2's do, check out the Su-6. If you take the 23mm VYa-23 guns and climb to ~3k meters... it turns like a beast, has decent energy retention, and the guns one-shot people. Hitting at 1.4 kilometers is so easy and people have no clue it's coming. I got an ace my second game using it. Headons are laughably easy with the armor and cannon armament. Only thing you have to worry about is being caught off guard or a player who knows what they're doing. (Though if they try to energy trap you, most of the time you can hit them from far range with the guns.)

to me, the XP-50 and XP-55 actually do better in uptiers Vs 109's, because the higher tier 109's are less maneuverable than the E7's, etc.
The first time a gun opens up in my direction for no good reason the plane doing it turns red. That includes shots over my shoulder. They can see me there, they don't care if I'm between them and thier KDA, they aren't on my team anymore.

This is a great plane if your aim is good. Mine isn't so I end up living and not killing much, lol . I just need more tracers to gauge where I'm aiming. But it is a good money maker, because even if you do f-all you get like 15k for a round and since you live no rep cost..
ANM2s are fair and balanced, and they dont need rework at all.

Climb near the side of the map, no fighter will try to chase you, also that’s a famous bomber route so free kills. Fighting the xp-50 is almost a death sentence

They're pretty close together. But the velocity and range is a big factor to me
