    Don't really know what he wants from Darcy? Spent the off season getting as fit as possible, hasn't had a setback and is going to qatar for injury prevention not treatment. Everything he's doing is to the benefit of the club

      Cornes just loves sensationalism and being some told you so or whatever
      Darcy is a great player, all players get inured, I don't understand why the need to be so critical
      Get over it and talk about something worthwhile, he's always going on about negative and critical bullshit

    Saw Darcy 2 weeks ago around Freo, did not even recognise him, has lost that much weight that I didn't even know it was him when I was speaking to him. Was crazy. Started main training around the same time, Fremantle posted on their socials about it.
    Maybe they are sending him to Doha because it's the most important training point in the season like Kane said, rather than because of a mishap,

    How about canvassing a broad spectrum of people in and out of the industry to bring about more balanced rules for trades, free agency movement etc. It is so imbalanced at the moment that clubs are paying well overs for players that sit in the best 16 to keep them and clubs extracting free agents for nothing are paying way overs. AFLPA has been a big cause of this mess.
    AFL is not soccer when it evolves to constant one sided mismatches the fans will leave in droves.

He was one of Carlton's best player in the first half of 2023, I had him getting votes almost every game but we know how the umpires are with that. They want to keep him because you have to retain talent when it's on your list. Where else are you gonna find someone as good as Cerra? Cerra is all about fortunate timing. When Newman went down and with Walsh again having hamstring issues, then the currencies of Cerra & Saad peaked and their managers moved in to position to capitalize. Meanwhile.......Kane again avoids commenting about an $800K p.a. Port player who doesn't chase!

  • @johnflynn556
    @johnflynn556 12 วันที่ผ่านมา

    How on earth can Kane (or anybody) have a valid opinion on any contract without knowing the details! Five years is just one component. It maybe an effective way to amortise his salary across a longer term to allow extra cap space for other contracts (e.g. TdK).

  • @evan08rhys09

    As a Crows fan, i do hope we move past Laird and Crouch all together and they are used as depth only. Think we have a number of players that can play mid and have shown they have the skill to do so but just need to get game time into them at that position. But unfortunately i think Nicks will just go to the tried and true formula of Crouch, Dawson and Laird as his main three and only change when he is absolutely forced to.

    • @jonofoote8353
      @jonofoote8353 13 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      Obviously you haven't being paying attention to the movements of our players over the last few seasons.
      Laird was moved into the midfield to fill in because we had no-one to do that job at the time. He did an amazing job for a fill in picking up 2 times all Australian squad in that position and not to mention another B & F!! to go with 2 times Runner up in the midfield.
      They moved him back to half back last year and said that's where he's going.......
      Remember he's a 2 times all Australian at half back and 2 times B & F in that position.
      We NEED to keep some of the older players in the team for balance and game smarts.
