Dan, you seriously have become one of the best, if not the best boat reviewer on TH-cam, in such short a time too. You are so thorough in your walkthroughs, other reviewers, who have been around forever, should really pay attention to how considerate you are about practicality and real use-case scenarios of each and every feature on a boat. My only complain is that you don't make more videos/include a greater variety of makers. Thank you for the video. Much appreciated and looking forward to the next one.
I like the way the window and door open to the al fresco dining area from the kitchen, and that flows to the cockpit and then to the swim platform. It all flows together. People can sit in the al fresco dining area when they want to be out of the sun, but they can still talk to people in the cockpit or watch the kids swimming. The cockpit really makes this boat very versatile.
I LOVE the click the little latches that hold the fridge and freezer doors shut makes when you're flipping them. You should make an ASMR video of just you flipping those latches. Lmao.
This Riviera and its predecessor the 57 enclosed flybridge is my dream boat. The Riviera's are so well made and finished you'd probably have a boat for life. I counted 6 fridges and 4 freezers, total of 10 if freezers could be set to fridges, bit confusing on that count. Great video Dan. 👍
Wonderful tour; amazing quality once again evident by Riviera. Not sure myself that I would get into big water fishing, but I love the elevated bridge and back deck-- provided Air Draft isn't a priority at that time.
Hi Dan, another brilliant, VERY comprehensive tour of this Riviera 58 Sport. I make the tally 5 Fridges, 4 Freezers, 1 Ice maker and 2 Wine Coolers. Maybe with that lot there should have been a "Partridge in a Pear Tree" too. No one can ever say the owner runs a dry ship with that lot lol. Excellent presentation mate, kind wishes from a rather chilly south of the UK, near Southampton.
I've done walk through videos myself in the past and started doing more of them recently but 45 minutes is a solid walk through and especially with no down time. Great video sir!
A nice boat indeed.. and a high quality review. Such great content! One thing I struggled to grasp was the enthusiasm about storing the surf board in that utility room deep inside the boat..; Looks like a pain to get it out of there (and back in). I'd think almost any other location would be better for it.
6 fridges, You only showed 5. @13.27 There are two fridge controllers. One is the fridge in the BBQ area, and the 2nd is the one you missed under the starboard seat in that same area. The one in front of the fishing control station is a fridge. Wine coolers usually are warmer than a regular fridge.
I wasn't that much of a fan of Riviera, but this already little ship changed my mind. Its unbelievable clever to bring that much space into this vessel and become soo livable. I was thinking that Sirena, Galeon and Absolute are the space masters in this length, but wow, this boat kills them all. I just saw the review from nauti and they mentioned the range at around 8 knots, which let you forget all those trawler type yachts, as you find high speed here and long range too
Since it is a fishing boat Dan, can you get it without that swim platform/tender platform on tne back? You really don't want something that huge protruding out the back when you're fishing.
Hi Dan!! This is a fantastic vessel. Just the right size for me. I would spend January to June living on this in The Exumas hopping from island to island. Having all those frigs is a huge plus because I love to cook. Great video and thanks for doing a GREAT JOB showing it. I think the 2 to 3 year wait for this is definitely worth it. Thanks again from New Jersey USA Jersey Lou
@Boatlife new to the channel,. however as a suggestion maybe add the msrp as tested or reviewed. that is the one thing I do not like about boat/yacht reviews, plus the Riviera website or many other boat/yacht review channels, and websites, is msrp's are not listed or mentioned.
Dan, that was a fab walk through and very detailed! Love your vids on these! It looks very stylish and you look very much at home on it too! Factory tours do enrich the experience! ❤
Great review! One question is which do you prefer 58SY or the 585SUV? I am thinking the 585SUV is good because everyone is together but the 58 has a lot more liveable spaces. Let me know your preference 😇
Zero speed helps enormously but the center of gravity still higher with a fly so it’s more roll than the SUV. However life is very comfortable even from the fly offshore with stabilisation on. You can drift in ground swell and the fly is still ok to hang out in.
There is! I just haven't been in the same country for more than 7 days since I filmed this so haven't got around to it yet. The new hats are in Malaysia and I am in Brazil this week. I'm still a one man band running this channel so can get slow sometimes lol
I believe that is often the customers choice. On the Gold Coast I visited a Riv Experience Center where you can design your interiors. They have a lady who does interior design full time and consults with every owner on all the fabrics, and everything down to the cushions. I assume the benchtops is part of this process.
Had a 5400 and 6000 and this checks all the boxes except the ergonomics. Ugh. Try driving this for hours and using the joystick or the wheel. My back wouldn’t last a minute with this config. The 6000 was perfect. Joystick fell naturally where your right hand lays and was a breeze to operate. This looks very cumbersome.

I agree 💯

The designers actually sleep on the boats before deliveing to the clients so they can use and understand how to make the boats better on each model.
Best boat and tour I've seen. Seriously my new favorite yacht. Well done.

Wine fridges are adjustable so you can have it tailored to suit white, red or bubbles which all prefer a different temp.
She is a Masterpiece, and great walk through. Man you deserve a week on that beauty free of charge lol. Thanks
What a boat!
5 fridges
1 ice maker
4 freezers
1 wine cooler
1 Dan
I count 9 fridge/freezers and 1 wine cooler. That's fantastic!
Blimey 😂. They've got their beverage priorities right Dan !
9 Fridges & Freezers
1 ice maker
1 wine chiller
Beautiful job from Riviera !
'Lucky Phil' lol .... 🇬🇧
Got too have room for the bear lol
@@SeanSoraghan Was there ever an outcome of your little challenge here then Dan ? I'm guessing your not 'good' for UK postage ? Lol ... 🇬🇧
Awesome in depth review of an AWESOME Yacht.

Sounds like it needs two more loos.

Oh another Dans boat life video I’m excited!!
Man this bloke can waffle on
Fair cop haha

Great review. Love the detail. 👌
Great content love the boat
Awesome live aboard.
beautiful vessel!
finally someone doing a thorough review of thee boats
Great vid, many thanks! What does a new 58 go for? Cheers
Love a Riviera, please beg them to loan you Belize!
Did I see you do a dockside boatshow tour of a Belize daybridge back in the day?

Hi Dan. Do you have to have bow thrusters or is IPS enough ? Great series thanks

Nice tour of a really nice boat. I loved the test drive vid too.
Thanks 👍
Thanks for your video 😊
My pleasure 😊
Dan. That is a dream boat for a future American retiree.
I like this better than the Scout 53' center console with quad 600

Awesome video and boat! Thanks for posting!

585. Only 2 people can watch TV in saloon
How would you compare the roll at anchorage with the stabilizers set to zero?
Zero speed helps enormously but the center of gravity still higher with a fly so it’s more roll than the SUV. However life is very comfortable even from the fly offshore with stabilisation on. You can drift in ground swell and the fly is still ok to hang out in.
Pershing x6 or x7 please an talk as long as ya want in it . Thanks
So, it’s got more fridges than I have friends? That’d be 1 bar fridge then😁
You know I would like to know what the range is on that. The stats
Yes that's exactly what I got too nine fridge freezers and one wine cooler
How much does this yacht cost am interested
Depends on shipping and taxes so best to follow the link in the description and contact your local dealer.

@@BoatLife_DansBoatLife haha. Well keep up the good work there !
Why does Riviera always use the same white bench tops! Id probably option a type of granite.

How much, fuel economy ,range.
This yacht is the perfect home...why have a place on land?!
I count 9 fridges/freezers and a wine cooler and then 4 coolers or 'eskies' as you Ausssies call them.
wine fridge/cooler. generally, not as cold as a fridge. very stable temp. 11 Degree Celsius
Lots of rubber hoses in that engine room. 😢
Mate, you're 5'5"..
Only if he tiptoes on a soapbox with his arms above his head. ;-)
range 😂
