Hello and thank you for the great video. I just purchased a 2011 Gear-Up with California emissions. Is there guidance on what and how to remove the emissions controls as I do not live in California and would like better performance...
Thanks for the helpful video. Just so you know, the little dot on the screws you removed denotes them as "Japanese Industrial Standard." Those are Not Philips head screws. And that's why those, and the screws on the master cylinder brake fluid reservoir, on virtually every bike are stripped.
There are actually three types of Phillips. TH-cam has a few articles on this. The dots as shown by another person indicate JIS. If its Japanese your normal ones will be a real PITA. I replaced all of mine like you with Allen heads.

Pronounced Kay- hin. Great vid thanks
Thanks for the info!
That's not a Philips screw, it's JIS, you have to use a different kind of screwdrivers for it.
How did you decide what jet sizes to use?
It was a CA dealer called “Skip”? He closed down about a year ago. He sold carbs he special built as a replacement kit. These are his recommendations
@@alsplace4190 my bike came originally from the same dealer, Triquest motorcycles
