Was at this show . My fifth time to see Tom Petty. Every time he and the Heart Breakers were awesome! After this show was over I told my wife we will come see him again on next tour. So sad that there will not be one now. RIP Tom and thanks for being apart of the sound track of my life.
When I heard Tom Petty died I felt like someone had cut out my heart. Hearing him play brings back the goodness and greatness, but I still can't stop the flood of tears. RIP Tom and I pray you know what you gave us.
Treasure that moment with your daughter, seeing Mr. Tom Petty unknowingly for the last time. I saw Tom with my boyfriend in 2010 and that was the last concert we went to together , before my boyfriend passed. I have the most beautiful memories of him and Tom Petty that I will treasure forever. Tom Petty was so gracious and thankful to the fans. .........♥️🎸💕☮️
Awesome. I never got the chance to see him in concert. He's been a fave of mine since my h.s. days in the early 80s. His widow, Dana York Petty, & I attended the same h.s. She graduated in 1982. Me, 1983. We never dreamed they'd meet, much less fall in love! She misses him so much.

Arghhhh the things we wished we knew at the time. Woodlands Pavilion near Houston is a great venue for someone like Tom Petty. I live just a couple hours up the road from there. I coulda shoulda woulda been at this very show but I wasn't. And now he's gone and I'm listening to it on TH-cam instead like a schmuck.
I just came from the Hollywood Bowl concert of the same song. You can see the toll that the tour took on him, when you compare this April performance to September. I just hate that he's gone.
