  • On a trip to Syndicate in Dominica I toured an incredible farm and got to try some of the most amazing fruit and produce I've ever had! I dared to try and eat this chocolate scorpion pepper fresh right off the bush. Coconut Water needed ASAP! Definitely do not try this at home 😂 That said it was a truly magical experience and our hosts were absolutely incredible people with an incredibly beautiful farm!

The congo pepper and the chocolate habanero are the same colour to the chocolate scorpion pepper which are very hot as well. The pepper seed is where all the heat is. 🇹🇹🇨🇦

All of the heat is produced in placenta.
Seeds doesnt produce any heat. The placenta produces capsaicin oil where is all of the heat so seeds are Spicy only because they are near the placenta (so they are covered in capsaicin oil)

Habaneros and scorpion arent comparable bc scorpions are much hotter…

The seeds are actually not hot its the oils
In the “placenta” that is where majority of heat comes from. Sometimes a little bit of oil gets on seeds , but its the meaty pale part holding the seeds that is hot. Seeds themselves are not even chefs think the seeds are hot, they are bitter though

I had a tree few years ago. The heat was there, but I did not like the colour. I love the red💕
