    Can we get the new updated video for Win10 and 11 since there are a lot new stuff implemented into Windows

  • @Willbme4EVA

    Great stuff, get windows 10 running as efficiently as possible. Especially if you are just going to be doing a specific task, GAMEING. To just use a standard version of windows with no changes is like the person who takes their race car to the track with the passenger seats, and interior still intact.

    Damn was hoping youd show how the custom version compares to "vanilla" windows as ram and cpu usage. But anyways this is great option, specially when you showed how to do this by yourself, so anyone can basically modify a normal full windows iso themselves if they choose to

    • @Electric_Doodie
      @Electric_Doodie ปีที่แล้ว +3

      In many cases, not much different.
      Yes, you lower RAM usage (not really CPU) because of lowered background Tasks and potentially other features, that you might need (or not). These "Debloated" Windows Versions often times are worse then stock.
      Yes, you can disable, Windows Defender, but if you still need a Antivirus, nearly every other Antivirus is more resources heavy, thus disabling Defender gets you a boost just to get less performance afterwards.
      Disabling various features / removing things, can break specific apps too, if you check around for different "Windows OS" variants, like Atlas, Spectre, etc, you often times find people asking why specific apps aren't working at all for them. Well, you breaked windows, what you expect?
      If you really need a lightweight system, don't remove Features etc of Windows (you can Debloat after installation anyways, uninstalling Instagram, TikTok, etc isn't talking more then 2 minutes anyways) and rather look for Linux.

    • @chaniibak7702
      @chaniibak7702 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@Electric_Doodie heavy disagree. Most issues could be worked around/just reinstall whats missing for what you need. linux is not nearly as supported as windows too.

      no, the services stay disabled, only some settings flip back on major updates.

  • @SirWolf2018
    @SirWolf2018 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    NTLite is great, there's a whole lot of things one can decide to disable, I spent hours on my last custom installer. But it was worth it. I love simplicity, a fast OS, no more annoying features, just focus on FPS.

    • @LPgmxDan
      @LPgmxDan ปีที่แล้ว

      What stuff you removed that tyc didn't? I'd also turn off the search option for example

    • @SirWolf2018
      @SirWolf2018 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@LPgmxDan Well, it's quite a personalization. I went through about everything in the free edition and if it looked like I didn't need it, I removed it. I had to look up the definitions of several things I had no clue about just to make sure turning them off was safe or I wouldn't regret later. This includes turning off services, components, programs, features, hardening privacy, adjusting configuration, etc. I like a minimalist system focused on gaming, e.g., bye bye, weather forecast, Cortana, contact list button on my task bar. I turned off history collection like last used programs and document so the system loads faster. For the same reason, I turned off search indexing for everything except for Start Menu. I also turned off most update services, I'd rather let programs check for updates when I use them, or manually (I envy Linux' centralized way of managing packages). Sorry for the too generic answer, I don't remember everything I disabled/removed.

    I tried to install Windows from ISO (in the description), but I cant make it past the "Select the driver to install". Nothing to chose there. There is the box with silly message "A media driver your computer needs is missing. This is could be DVD, USB, or Hard disk driver. If you have CD, DVD, or USB flash drive with the driver on it, please insert it now. Note: if the installation media for Windows is in the DVD drive or an a USB drive, you can safely remove it for this step". I'm installing from USB stick. I left language settings as offered

    I'm having a hell of a time cloning disks.
    It boots, I see my username and then a black screen with a cursor and blue circle going mad. lol
    Ctrl-Alt-Delete gives some vague menu on a blue background with no useful options, taskmanager and some stupid stuff.
    It has a language button and some others and a "power" button so you can reboot.
    It's fecking weird so now I decided to do a clean install and remembered this. =)

    • @45eno

      @@smuggy8576 No, I have replaced all 9 of my systems motherboards since December 2022 from b450 to x570 and some x570 to x570s and some required activation. Also had to delete the old board from my Microsoft accounts and windows store. Only about 3-4 required activation. I did make sure the most current chipset driver was installed.
      All 9 worked just fine going from B450 to X570. Two systems had clean installs later but not because of the board swap but because hassles with Bitdefender Total Security. (I bought a 2yr 15 device license for Bitdefender. After a few months of use I learned it was what caused hang ups in my PCs. And my main PC wouldn’t uninstall the software so I finally opted for a clean install of W11. Avoid Bitdefender!
