I really like the narrative driven style of these videos where you chat about past boards. Gives the viewer a better sense of what you’re reviewing, rather than just listening to bullet points/specs with no other context 👌

Andy, maybe u should wait for krush65. It has o-ring/ top mount option and it has a heavy copper weight at the back to make it not sound hollow.
macro columns are neat and all but every time I try and use one with a left column it messes with how I type

Theres the qk65 v2 classic without screen since people have requested. This typ65 is def underrated though
A local designer of ours is designing the Khora. It’s a Top mount 8pt top mount 65. I personally have never had a top mount 65 which is why I’m going in on it. Super excited to get in on the GB because the colorway is gonna be hot AF too.

So many good boards are left behind. I picked up a Tengu ergo for around $200 because it's old, shows how much fucboi vibe is in mechs.
I've been wanting this board ever since r1 came into GB, but I just never got it, even when r1.5 came out, I just couldn't care nor cough up the money, and at this point in time, I'm already satisfied with what I currently have

@@AndyVNguyen very sorry to hear this. I also had a sleep disorder since around 2009. It would take me 3-5 hours to fall asleep. Then I would wake up every 20-60min… there wasn’t hardly a single day I woke up feeling well rested and recharged.
Last year, we (doctors and me) finally figured out that it was a combination of things that helped me treat the issue. Changing my diet, getting off of my phone/tv/computer an hour before bed, and taking a small anxiety prescription & 1/4 of a Xanax with every meal. After about 3 months, my life changed. It takes me 5-30min to fall asleep and I don’t wake up once during the night now!
Hope you can do more troubleshooting and testing with doctors to quickly help solve your sleeping disorder! ✨🙏🏼✨

Andy, what are your thoughts on the Glare 65? Top mount and brass mid piece so it’s not too pingy
looks pretty good, as to whether or not it's pingy i am not sure
I just got a Pavlov 65 from KBDfans and tried al kinds of switches. It has 3 plates. FR4, PC and Alu. Foams, no foams. Top mount or tadpole mount.. It always sounds deep. Not really my sound profile. Tested Novelkeys x Kaihl Creams, HMX Macchiatos, Akko Cream Blue V3's.. Give that board a try. You'll love it. You'll love FR4 with case and platefoam with the Tadpole mount if you like some flex.
bsun raws are great. i don't like long poles but they're one of the few exceptions
to me, lately anyway, "endgame" is basically another word for "different than the rest". Like you said the market (65% especially) has been flooded with boards the often don't offer much different than their competitors. When something even a little more unique comes along, that also has a really nice sound and feel, THAT's where it's at. Speaking of unique, I just picked up an Aeroboard70 myself. Also didn't really get much hype from content creators. I absolutely love the cyberpunk-ish vibes and so far I really enjoy the sound and feel (only tried one type of build out of a lot of different types available). The macro column on the left is so nice for certain apps/games too!!!

I think the Arisu layout is my endgame after about 2 months of using
i have mine built with mx blacks + cf half-plate and it slaps, especially the spacebar. the single flex cut across the alpha row is matched on both the pcb and plate, resulting in a good typing feel without sacrificing sound; if anything, probably less vibrations from top mount. got mine for less than $300 USD aftermarket

The bowls are fun… to try. But then go back to top mount lol
I owned one of these. Seriously an awesome keyboard. The flex cut was the only downside imo
I tried the little plug thing didn’t do much for me. I think taping it worked for someone else

The true king is the merisi sessantacinque. Luckily merisi is dropping another 65 with the same plate and mounting style, the 500C. I just wish his boards weren’t so… ugly…
I’ve used it too. It’s solid. I could use that or this. This is easier to buy lol. But yeah sessi is super… boring and ugly lol.

This is exactly how I feel about the xox70 but for different reasons. Sleeper board that had some streamers review it, but was exactly what I was looking for in an frl tkl and sounds nutty

Andy I am once again here to bully you by saying that your modern keyboards sound worse than the ones from years ago on your channel. Og jwk and ANY gateron switch just have such good tolerances that there’s literally no keycap tick, which most modern sound tests (bsun and jwk especially) are plagued with.
