I like how your shirt matches the keycaps!
I got mine yesterday, very happy with it!
Hey Lewis, I love the keycaps. Where did you get them from?
For my keyboard I have the hex screws and not Philips.
I got it as one of the first backers on kickstarter and it is the only keyboard I have so far, that I didnt make any mods for whatsoever. It just sounded perfect right from the box. The value here is amazing
How does the Rainy75 compare to the Bridge75? I am considering getting the Bridge75 because of its ball-catch top housing and sound.
🤔
🤔
have both of them now. Rainy is heavier, feels more premium and has much deeper and richer sound. Also more premium switches. Bridge is pretty good too tho - it's much more quiet, has a ballcatched system annd.. that's it :D
Typing on mine rainy75 lite, stabs are pretty dam good out of the box no rattle whatsoever and it sounds so thocky love it.
I need help shoud I get the SK75 for 100$ the rainy75 for 134$ including shipping or the SN75 for 128$
I do care alot about the latency if someone is aware of the latency of the SK75?
Seriously these budget boards are getting super good!
Were you able to get via to work? I got the JSON file and when I load it shows in the design tab but I can't get it to show in the configurator even after authorizing it.
where did you get the keycaps? they're super cute!
01:11 Sound
Plate mounted stabs are absolutely perfect out of the factory
havent got mine AND ITSSS BEEEN 6 MONTTHHHSSSSS S S SS HEREEELLLLLPPPP
did you order it from the official wobkey website?
Wait till lewis gets to try the bridge 75.
Ball catch system for opening the keyboard up! Sounds very similar to the rainy
Cheaper too, but only one place carries it and I don't know if it available on taobao
it is fortunately available on taobao
Definitely not cheaper for those people ordering from the US, about double the price than a Rainy75
@@GuyWhoCooksTheBooks omg haha
We only have one shop bringing it in for Singapore are it's Abt 40 bucks cheaper than a rainy haha
@@shadowvampwolf i was considering the bridge but it costed about double with shipping to bulgaria and thats way too much like at the point i am giving half my monthly income for a keyboard
@@shadowstyle3139 damn. U can check the crush80 out as well. Same company as the rainy but in a TKL layout.
Just wait a while more cause they released an r2 for it but are selling the leftover r1 to people outside of china atm
when is the preorder supposed to ship. i ordered 3 weeks ago and havent received the product
you must be new to preorders lmao
I'm actually considering selling my QK75 for this, I know the build will still sound great and I can even turn a profit from this haha
I know the Womier SK75 and this keed are similar. Which of the two would be better to buy, what are the differences?
I heard that sk75 is pretty clacky
@@BK-nm4nq More down to the switches. These keyboards are almost exactly the same
@@haven216 ye I seen that
I bought it from China. Good keyboard
I prefer zoom65 or lucky65... But that's just because I prefer 65%, this is honestly the best 75%
Just got mine yesterday. Bluetooth and dongle dont work and well the instructions are in Chinese. Otherwise it sounds great. I'm not mad one bit at using a wire because how good it sound and feels. Amazing really for 100 ish dollars.
hey can u cover the epomaker x feker galaxy 80 on the channel I'm thinking of buying one and I'd be glad to hear ur opinion on it. Thanks!
Sadly Tabao are out of stock with the HMX switches.
Isn't the leobog hi75 cheaper than this and similar?
pre assembled i think this is better imo
@@LewisToh in what way?
Oh weird, my Rainy75 uses hex screws. It's a super tiny hex too
Gl finding it for 100$. Even on aliexpress the cheapest is 150
completely unrelated to keyboards but I just really like the color palette in this video
yeah, i love the rainy75 too
Got it for 105 bucks Pro Ver, worth it I guess..
Where do you even ACQUIRE IT HELP ME
bro literally going for most budget 75% videos lol! this cool tho.
missing odd switch.. bring it back bro
Were you able to get VIA to work? I have the JSON file loaded and it shows in the design section but in the configure section I try to authorize the device and nothing changes. I just can't seem to get it to work.
thank you for helping me find the keyboard i want amazing review
There are a few retailers selling to the US market. Most have still not yet delivered the keyboards and they are priced about $10 - $15 more than what you paid on Taobao for each tier of board.
Mine is taking foreverrrr to ship. Months.
how does it compare to the sk75?
The groupbuy was a shipment hell but after finally receiving the board I can say the wait was definitely worth it. It is honestly goated.
Need help, what is the quiestest keyboard?
The Indiegogo batch had hex screws.
What keycap set is that? They look so cool!
I did the KS and finally got mine about a month ago, Standard in blue with the chroma weight and HMX swtiches. While creamy it was much poppier than expected from pre-reviews. The switches are too light for me but the sound is great out of the box and the keycaps are quite nice and match the light blue well. Definitely agree with what you did on the white. I've boiled down my switch choice to HMX Xinhai heavy to keep a similar but louder sound or WS Heavy Tactiles which make the board much deeper... just not sure yet.
Also check out the bridge 75 by shortcut studio
Can you do a video on the Royal Kludge R61 keyboard?
Which keycap set is this? Looks similar to GMK Soyamilk
is it compatible with Macs?
Could you review skn75
For me is the Lucky65 just because I prefer the 65% layout more than the 75% of the rainy
Just be careful, I got a PCB where the space bar socket was jacked up and north facing and the insert key didn't even have a hot swap socket or LED in it. Really really shoddy quality assurance on the Lucky65
Were you able to get via to work? I got the JSON file and when I load it shows in the design tab but I can't get it to show in the configurator even after authorizing it.
i had to close the via app and open it again and after it the layout was changed
This comes with a Violet, Cocoa, and WOB switch option. Do you know which of these would be the most silent and deep?
All those 3 switch are not silent. Violet sound higher pitch clack. WOB Snow Ink sound more marble clack.
Leobog hi75 and Rainy 75 are around the same price, which do you prefer?
Rainy has better coating and wireless but leobog has knob.
is this the rainy 75 pro ?
or the normal?
How does this compare with the Womier 75?
which one is better lucky65 or rainy75 ?
lucky65 is pingy trash
It sounds exactly the same as every other budget aluminium keyboard, hardly sets itself apart lol
Love the Rainy 75!
Hey Lewis -- you made a video on the Womier SK75 right before this one, could you perhaps describe how they compare in terms of build, sound etc? At a glance they look very similar to me but I've heard the Womier has a rougher paint job, for example.
You also talked about the screws here, does the SK75 carry the same issue?
im doing it at the end of this month! gna compare a bunch of budget releases
@@LewisToh Sweet mate, looking forward to it. The Rainy75 is a good bit more expensive than the Womier SK75 or the Bridge75 (and I can't get the Rainy shipped to Indonesia for some reason? There are distributors but they've sold out their stocks) so I need your input on these budget boards. Cheers
It's amazing. I love mine and all I did was change the keycaps for aesthetic purposes. Amazing sound and quality. The thing weighs 4lbs 5oz though. So a chunk
How long did it take for you to get your keyboard
@@testing7357 I was a Kickstarter backer so I backed in Feb and that shipped in July. Once shipped, it was 2 weeks
how does it compare to bridge75?
i think he's making a full comparison video of all the "best custom keyboards" he reviewed so far
I am getting one too..in July - August. pre ordered it from a german vendor (i am german). Super excited for it and yeah I know there are other options but the rainy just caught my heart, I just love the design and sound so much, tho i did get the pro version because of the fr4 plate and bigger battery
I most likely dont plan to open the board so i dont really care about bad screws
woher?
@@BK-nm4nq Keygem
Try the ariya75
First
It's surprising that you haven't tried any of the HMX switches before the Violets on this board. They are amazing and you should definitely give the other ones a go!
Taobao link? Im going to hk this year to take a look at it🎉
I don’t think it’s on taobao, if it does it probably priced over then the original price. it’s currently on preorder
@@BK-nm4nqit's 50 sgd in taobao, source: someone who works for a keyboard enthusiast company that I visited to try the other keyboards they carry
@BK-nm4nq it is on taobao and the standard version is 65 usd, much cheaper
Ok thanks, just wondering bcz the product is made from china, tbh anything that is made from china is sold more expensive in America and uk, like the ciy tester 68
@@hocastiel1384 it’s on tabao nevermind, just look it up
In my opinion the Aula F75 (plastic though) is an even more budget keyboard. I got it for like 30-40 dollars (USD) and that is really budget for what you're getting. The Rainy75 is not budget for me but it's still amazing!
The Aula F75 is a plastic keyboard and there is a huge price gap between plastic and aluminum keyboards so they can't really be compared... in the plastic keyboard market I'd say the GMK67 is the best option
@@ronaldmcdonald6067 thats barebone, not prebuild
Aula is a prebuilt keyboard, the gmk series comes in a barebones kit and also aula f75 has way better stock stabs
Happy ?
@@ShawnSeo-gs8cxthat guy makes makes no sense, literally all youtube comments.
@@ronaldmcdonald6067imo, everyone should stay away from gmk67. that keyboard could be 'usable' if you're just using it for work, but for gaming? just no. that keyboard polls at
