Rezident evil 0 and 4 only got a XBOX 360 physical release in japan so with region locking. The store version is the only way to get the XBOX 360 version of those games
I will miss the Xbox 360 so much. I remember playing online for the first time on games like Fable 2 and 3, GTA 5, Borderlands 2, Forza Horizon, Modern Warfare 2, Halo Reach, and so many more. I hate to admit it, but I actually cried 😭 when all the memories hit. PS3 hit the same way because that was the first console my brother and I played together. I hope Xbox 360 and PS3 live on through emulators for PC.

Same as the 3DS and Wii U which also shut down one year ago on March 27 and three months ago on April 8 2024 with online service and co-op. I have a interesting feeling that PlayStation 4 will be next victim being shut down but time will tell when server will shut down in the near future. Since some games are compatible with most game released within XBOX 360 and XBOX One.
I actually want the inferior versions of the Resident Evil games because I remember when they were brand-new and had extremely good graphics so I wouldn't mind the retro look.

Might still bite the bullet and buy the first Sega Racing game at the existing price before it goes Also, quite amusing that the Microsoft owned Activision games are either not on sale, or have the smallest discount applied (Singularity only 50% for example) which wouldn't be so bad had the original price not been so high for a game of that age
The original Xbox was a success. Also i got Gun, kane and lynch Bionic Commando 09, and singularly. I'm also going to get black gate before I forget that and I like Metroidvanias

Lots of ultimate editions aren't on the store making it more expensive to buy and more annoying. Usually games that are on game pass, making that the easiest way to access it... Making everyone dependent...
You keep saying things may be backwards compatible when the Activision blizzard thing is done. But it is done and on top of that Microsoft said they are not adding any more games to backwards compatibility.🤷♂️
@Skycaptin5 If Microsoft didn't care enough to put any games they published on a discount, there is no way anything more is going to become backwards compatible.
Battlefield 3 will be delisted 2 days after the 360 store closes, so you may as well add that into the mix. Also, MS has announced nothing more will become BC, so people shouldn't wait if they want those games.

I bought so many games with this closing sale, was hoping for State of Decay to come on sale.
There is a better version for newer hardware, but ya it's weird since it is a first party game. Xbox gave literally zero first party deals.

That's what was somewhat pulling me in was the idea they might feel aesthetically different due to their age.

Watchmen end is nigh 1-2 is a bit pricy but physical is nearly double the price currently and very hard to find

The lack of support for good deals from the Xbox 1st party is appalling.
They effed up not lowering DLC prices. I’m only buying games I played and no longer have disk and dlc for them.

The aestetics of arkham asylum are kinda compromised vs the og 360 version. Also isn't black gate edition on steam too?
