My son makes Okonomiyaki on a hot plate and Gyoza. He wants to come back to Japan to learn some more. He used to be an Australian Chef. Now he just cooks for his family and people at work. I love to cook Oyakodon and Gyoza. Thank you. This looks so good.
I basically was going to say the same thing about how clean they are. I worked as a dishwasher at a restaurant in Orlando Florida. After seeing how they handled the food back in the kitchen I would not have eaten that restaurant no matter how hungry I was it was nasty.
My wife and I went here in 2016. We loved it and the owner and his female assistant were so nice. We tried to go back again in 2018 when we were in town but unfortunately the owner hurt himself and the place was closed. Guaranteed we will be back (If Japan ever allows any tourists again).
I thought of only watching 3 minutes but ended watching the entire video. So relaxing and inspiring. I will be making soon with my cast iron pan. Thank you!

What a lovely restaurant. Also, that part about the souvenir sushi-shaped erasers for foreigners is really nice👍 I was under the impression that local Japanese restaurants, like this, didn't actually serve foreigners but I was wrong. A really lovely restaurant with amazing owners and staff.
This okonomiyaky is a reachest one I have ever seen, even in Japan, in Tokyo, I have not had such a reach dish. Very impressive, especially cleanliness, quality and variety of ingredients. Yammy! Oyshi!
Thank you for this, found this place after hanging out in Dotonbori. Quite busy but wow worth it. Food was better than anything we tried in Dotonbori and the Kumoruon market. Superb!
Everything is so neat and CLEAN. And they work so hard to keep it that way and serve such wonderful looking food. Wish I was there to try everything. Canada is too far away and I'm too darn old! Continued success to you.
Mmmm squid and shrimps, marvelous. Actually, it looks marvelous even without any meat. I'm deeply curious as to which seasonings he is using. I would love to have a frying plate like that at home... It seems I never have pans that are large enough, my to go so far is a large cast iron wok... But it doesn't have a straight surface, so I can't make all the recipes I would like to (it's a pretty awesome pan though). Thank you for the video, truly mouth watering. Okonomiyaki is usually seasoned with Aonori(dried and powdered seaweed) and Bonito flakes(dried fish flakes) but in this video i see they season with Aonori but before that they sprinkle another kind of powder, maybe its not fish flakes but some powdered dried fish equal in taste to Bonito flakes! I need to go visit and travel Japan!

My god now that's what I call a real classy chef.the food he cooked would have cost a fortune in 🇬🇧. Ramsey and Jamie Oliver could learn from this man. He should be head chef in his restaraunt in London.and have his own television programme. We in England can't get fresh fish like Japan and don't even know how to cook it. One day if I can go to Japan I would love to go to his restaraunt and watch and eat. The atmosphere the people the food wow what a lovely restaraunt. One day I would rather pay and have great food at this place than the 🇬🇧

This place is legit. Up until the late 90's, there were many shops like this one in every neighborhood in Kansai region. Nostalgia.

2014年第一次到大阪自助旅遊就愛上這間小店,用料好、價格便宜、女兒又漂亮,每次去飛田新地打柏青哥一定會來這裡吃,缺點座位太少、排隊時間太長,有次冬天6度我在外面等90分鐘也是要等到女兒來幫我點菜,附有中英韓文菜單,老闆跟女兒可以用英文溝通。心齋橋裡面那號稱第一大阪燒,在這間小店面前跟本不值得一提。座地鐵到動物園前站走1號出口 ,非常便利。到大阪一定要來這間。大推
