I'm amazed how active, skillful and energetic these older people still are. Especially when you look at many people of the same age in my own country. Who's main pastimes seems to be complaining about their ailments and talking about the medication they are taking and feeling sorry for themselves. But at the same time, I'm wondering why it seems that so many elderly Japanese people still work instead of enjoying retirement. Are they still working because of necessity, because they just love to do so, or from a sense of duty?
この方、本当に作業に無駄がないし、トマトや豆腐の切り方もすごく綺麗だし、一つひとつが丁寧で尊敬します。漬け物やお汁、きんぴらなど見ているだけでも幸せな気分になります。あと7年なんていわずに！絶対行きます！⤴️
おじいちゃん、て書いてますが、ダンディな佇まいでかっこいいです。すごく要領とか導線とかきっちりしていて、多くのメニューをこなせる技とエネルギーに感服しました。だって、ぬか漬けまでしているなんて！！ それにしてもかつ丼、食べたいなあ。
あ～ なぜか最後まで見てしまう・・。
料理人が朝早くから今日訪れる人たちのために準備をしている。朝が明け、来店する人が食事し、目で挨拶を交わしていく・・。
日常のなんでもない光景のなかで静かな時間が過ぎていく。何故か、お客さんの食べる風景と黙々と調理をする姿に感動する。
そう、自分は黙々と働く人が好きなのだろう。
ご主人の仕事が丁寧で、また、ご主人の品ある人柄も素敵で、驚きました。トマトの切り方並べ方、サラダもキャベツ中心じゃないところ、なんとも高感度大です。
I thank God for these hardworking people who prepare tasty food for the rest of us who have no time/know how to do so . Thank you grandpa.
