LR3 reminds me of a Captain I had two years ago. Tall lanky guy working in supplies with an english litterature degree. Had his uniforms tailored, wore a side part and spent three years holding the highest PT scores on an infantry base.

And for all the suspension flex, angery headlights, tyres and lifts, the jeeps looked like they had a harder time. How funny.

Impressive what the Land Rover can do with small tires

Standard Disco /lR3 showing what it can do when driven well. Nice footage, Nice driving. Did the Disco have a rear eLocker do you know?

So basically if you get a jeep and spend a heap on accessories you can compete against an old disco 3 ,nice

You can take your entire family on lr 3 and go off road , they won't argue about wind noise , uncomfortable seats and overall lag of comfort . Ofc at the same time you can take your family and go off road on wrangler and make them feel exhausted and headache after few miles 😂😂😂

The Disco glides, the others seem to have a rough ride

They all appear to have the same exact difficulty in crossing the same terrain.

The terrain looks just like you are in Arizona. You chose a great trail to play on.

@@griffin4995 I've hears the LR3 and LR4 are very reliable. They just have a bad rep because of Freelander, old Range Rovers and Disco 2

My 2005 LR3 at 17 years old and 117,000 miles on it has cost me less than $1000 in repairs (parts and labor). Everything works as it should (including adjustable suspension), and it’s quiet and comfortable for long trips. Short of a severe wreck, I plan to keep it until I’m no longer able to drive. There’s nothing else out there that’s an adequate replacement.

They're both great, come on guys. Obviously you'd want comfort and luxury and on road driving with the lr3 over the jeep, and more nimble off road driving and rustic charm with the jeep (minus the little dick mods) over the lr3, but modern jeeps aren't really all that uncomfortable or terrible on road, and the lr3 is still top tier for off road, impressive here considering its smaller tires. So it depends on what your needs are. There's no better.
