That failed side approach at 5:00 was killing me. Some moderate but steady throttle would have allowed time for the TC to fully engage and might have got you up it
Yes, true. I think at this point we only had 15 minutes left of the day and got worried incase we broke it lol. We had an hour drive home and really didn’t want to be walking haha
Parts for a Land Rover Discovery even a old one are crazy expensive I could never put my Disco threw that type of thrashing. Looks like fun but my wallet might get mad cheers 🍻 🇬🇧
Yes it was super fun, there’s a few of us share the car so the expenses are split between us, I think though we need to learn to do more of the easier work ourselves to keep the money in our pockets lol the courses are great and there is always lots to do without damaging your car lol
I don't know how you guys do that, I own a 2008 Discovery 3 SE V8 with 99K miles on it , and when the gremlins come knocking on my door, my wallet cries 😢 parts are very expensive and I could never do what you do! Enjoy! Cheers 🍻 🇺🇸
So, deffo on the snorkel, I’ve seen them pretty cheap on eBay but it’s so important to try and get them as water tight as possible. Lift kit yes, but probably when the air bags start messing up tbh, also the height atm is fine for us and obviously we’ve got the extended mode too if we get grounded. :-)

What is the size of tires ?
Hi Lena, so those are just standard road tyres, 255/55r16. We are now using some Mud tyres with much better tread.
What would you say you could do to improve your d3? Ride lift? Better tyres? Snorkel? Winch?
