Nothing exciting about 16:9 for me personally anymore, plus the higher refresh rate is nice to have as well. @Timotej Labuda My bro, you have a 30-day return policy if you are un happy with it. OLED on PC is an absolute game changer. I dont think you'll realise its full potential until it's setup infront of you. There really is no better option when it comes to PC gaming atm. Not even, the 4K OLED TVs slap this much on PC. VA/IPS is laughable when compared to OLED. The difference is night and day. Not even on the same level. I came from a G7 240hz 32" and I can never look at a VA panel the same again. It looks that bad next to the OLED, lol. Been looking at this but not sure how it would handle my Xbox, my pc will be spot on however. I’m guessing I’d have black bars either side which i think would drive me mad. Also looked at the 42 inch c2 but feel that could be way too big for a desk. Currently have a 16.9 32 inch and that’s perfect in terms of size
Straight out of the box config my fam, messed around with the presets for abit but ended up reverting back to factory settings. Seems best looking and brightest imo. HDR400, standard preset, contr/bright 75 HDR/SDR both enabled on windows 11 8bit 175hz Nvidia settings
RT ULTRA my friend with everything RT on except global illumination & No dlss. I don't even hit past 30 fps with all RT effects on the games i tried. (Portal RTX, Darktide, Cyberpunk) 3090 still a crazy solid card until you bring these RTX settings out. Scratching my head thinking if it's time for a 4090 or that's what nvidia want me to think with these features 😅😭
@@zanzatec I think you made a bit of a mistake haha. RTGI is standard on when enabling at least 1 RT setting. Maybe you mean RTAO? But that itself isn't such a performance hitter. Maybe recheck your settings? Perhaps Raytracing is just off now. But thnx!
@@berrydex I tried everything my friend. All RT on and off. With all on, it was straight 30fps haha. Was only until i disabled RTGI i got my frames back. Are you saying without RTGI on the rest don't work even if they are enabled??
If you look in the menu you will see that if you turn RTGI off, the whole raytracing turns off. Too bad the performance hit is that bad. Here too with a 3080. A bit of optimzed settings does bring me to around 50-60 fps, but I don't like that anymore

Now what happens if I enable the other RT settings while RTGI is off, (that is essentially what I did lol, just switched the bottom two back on). It felt like it looked better while gaining a bunch of frames but it could just be me hard coping xD I'm guessing they didn't count?? Damn confusing LOL!

I bought this and then decided to buy LG C2 42" to compare. It beats it in almost everything. The picture pops more, more clear and detailed. The C2 has some problems with gradations, but its not something that comes up in most content. Especially in high fidelity content, you wont notice it, but in dark scenes you will see some banding.

DOES YOUR EYES HURT AFTER A COUPLE OF HOURS WATCHING TIHS MONITOR?? i know that hdr its very bright and im worried that this affect my eyes in a long term :(
Nah not at all fam, they come with the LEDs on the back to help with that. That being said tho, I don't play in a completely dark room and there is decent space between myself and the screen since my desk is 35"/90cm deep. Pretty sure they have some eye care certification since it's basically the samsung QD-OLED panel but you may have to double check me on that my bro. Best of luck!!

Spot on matey, probs not recommended for consoles since it's mainly a PC monitor. The C2 on the other hand, would be perfect for the xbox 👌

What FPS Counter are you using?
Using the nvidia FPS counter, my friend. It comes with their gpu driver software, gforce experience.

lg c42 is pure glossy rather than semi- gloss, otherwise QD OLED has more benefits. I own both
