    I would never have thought it takes that much to make that little seat. Truly inspiring!

    Holy moly, and i used to think that its just a solo seat, it'll hardly take 30 minutes to finish it. But that was a whole lot of work. Nice seat by the way bro. 👌👌👌

    nice! Question: when you sewed the first pleats, you then went on the bottom side and sewed again....what were you sewing there?

    • @juiceslickrick
      @juiceslickrick  3 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Thanks man! It’s a blind stitch. I top stitch then fold the pleat in half and sew on the back side on the inside of the stitch. It’s just give the pleats a cleaner look hiding the stitches and protecting the stitch from wear.

    Awesome capture and saddle! Thanks for sharing. Q: are the staples removed from the seam afterwards? With regards to rust...

      Thanks man! Yeah for sure take them out, just showes you care about your work.

      I took them out of the seat just didn’t show it. There are many steps I don’t add in the video so it’s not as boring.

    What kind of foam are you using and where do you get it? Thanks

    • @juiceslickrick
      @juiceslickrick  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      For this style of seat on the pan I use 1” extra firm 100lb from Albright supply. And 1/2 sew foam in the seat cover for the pleats.

      Sweet dude thanks I built my 22yo brother a plunger frame triumph bobber from all the shit I hade laying around from bulk buys and trades over the years so kind of a rat bike and I was thinking about doing a cobra style seat just laying down a glass mat seat pan. Thanks again man

      Also I’m assuming you do videos as you get the work but have you ever relined a helmet? I have an old 3/4 translucent buco and some old Arthur fillers I’ve been sporting for years that I’d like to redo
