I used FE Builder to make a gauntlet map to test gba fire emblem characters against every other class in the game. This installment features Colm and Neimi as our champions, and we can compare their performances against Roy, Lilina, Hector, Ross, Lyn, Amelia, Canas, and all the future units we will test in the gauntlet. - เกม
neimi dies to axe user, colm dies to pegasus knight. together their love takes them through the entire gauntlet
And history will show they were just _really good friends._
Also still pulling for everyone's worst character, Knoll.
Knoll can very well die to a random crit at any single point. That would be really funny
Do Sophia or Wendy. See if the absolute dregs of FE6 can redeem themselves here.

The issue with putting Sophia in the gauntlet is that fe6 dark tomes weigh less than in other games
The flux is 5 wt and the nosferatu is 6
So she'd actually do worse here than she would in fe6 lol

at the end you should unequip the sword for Colm, i think he would dodge more often for the knight or wyvern knight

Hit rates constantly in the 50's and taking 6 rounds of combat to kill the average enemy...
Colm was just giving you the authentic FE6 experience
when I saw that it was my favorite tag team in one video, I knew that Neimi personal weapon would be Colm, and I was really excited to see it even though I expected them to be completely unable to damage the knight [I was pleasantly surprised]
What Happened to Dorcas? Put him in the gaunlet!
Would his PRF weapon be one of the Juna Fruits renamed to "Poisoned Mutton"?
Giving him an extra 1-5 levels through the gauntlet could be really cool!
Trading colm's sword to Neimi while fighting the knight would've been a good idea so that he wouldn't get the weapon triangle disadvantage

Dude, have you seen Chad's growths? That kid is a MACHINE! 50% strength in such a weak game on the weakest class is diabolical. They only did that to make him okayish since he can't promote, which means that for this challenge he's actually quite good for a thief
*checks* ...damn those are actually some fucking insane stats. Cass isn't that far behind, either. I think they might have decided to be nice with their growths since they didn't have an evolution in FE6.
@@ShadowdaHedgie11 I wouldn't say insane, since his bases are... well, thief bases lol, but like the fact that they are pretty much better than Colm's in every way is so funny to me
@@bvd_vlvd Their growths are insane, their bases… not so much. And Astolfo is still bad.
But yeah, as I said, they don’t get a promotion in FE6, so it was likely to help balance them out a little. Colm can promote, so his growths don’t need to be as high.
I dont know where this idea that fe6 is a weak game stems from, it has the most units cap their str/magic stats out of the 3 gba games.
Fe6 units are weaker specifically compared to their own enemies, if you put fe6 units against fe7 or fe8 units they'd clear house.
A good example of this is fe6 wade. At level 20/1, he has 2 more str on average than dorcas and 1 more than Garcia - and has higher speed than dorcas, higher speed than Garcia unless Garcia goes hero, higher defense than dorcas, and higher luck than the both of them.
Another example is both Sophia and raigh, fe6s dark magic users, have way higher magic stats than knoll and canas at 20/1, have better defense stats than knoll, same or better res, and same or better skill. Their dark tomes are also lighter, so they don't lose as much if any speed from them.
Lastly, let's look at fe6 swordmasters - in fe6, on average, fir caps her attack stat. None of the other gba swordmasters can claim that. That's in spite of her low growth, honestly.

I'll say Wallace again, he's not really a bad unit per say, and Armour Knight will carry him pretty far.
But I honestly am here for his PRF run. With the Knight Crest! As he says in his Lyn chapter "COME, BREAK YOUR BLADES UPON ME!"

I love the dynamic duo, but I think they should have to split their 9 vulnerary sips! Otherwise the advantage isn't just two-on-one, it's double the healing, double the damage you're allowed to take, on top of being able to pick who tanks it.
Changing my Florina vote to Farina, let's see if she's worth the money. (any pegasister will do though.)
Honestly, having all three Pegasus Sisters in the same video would be cool.

My boys, the first Caveliers I ever knew, and truly my favorite horsemen
curious the freedoms FEBuilder gives you to implement characters from other games. Not asking for a unique GBA port of NES/SNES characters or skills in a game without those skills originally, but maybe having Cain and Abel or Alec and Noish compete in a christmas cav gauntlet would be neat sometime. Characters like Barst and Lex who are held back in their base games by heavy axes in the Sacred Stones engine where they can compensate for those things would be neat too!
And, of course, the legend Arden... one day...
I just thought you could make Caeda into a Pegasus Knight with a Reginleif to imitate the Wing Spear
There is a rather large free to use (as long as you credit) sprite respostorty with plenty of gba styled sprites so it's not entirely oit of the question to give tbem sprties to be fair.
Against the knight in the Tag Team round, you could of traded Colm's sword to Neimi to not face weapon triangle and increase his dodge!

I'm hoping to see Myrrh. Could be very interesting to see a non-standard unit in the gauntlet.
@@pieisgood13 Level 20 Myrrh (and Fa too) with dragonstone probably kill the kid at the end unless the Uber Spear is a dragon slayer, it's a one sided roflstomp but I'd still want to see it
Just a thought on the Neimi / Colm Tag Team idea. Great idea with the archers. But given that there is an advantage to getting two units, I think it would be more balanced overall to limit the vulnerary to ten collectively not ten each. Just a thought. and as for my suggestion, a tag team for Rebecca and Dart could be comparable.
PS- also try a tag team of three Pegasus units. :) Get that super crit power attack happening.

My man, should have unequipped Colms Sword! That way the Knight would have lost WTA making Colm both tankier and Dodgier! Other than that nice video!
I think if you do two of them, you should just use one set of vulneraries.
I think you should have done the support! It's a fun run, get those extra stats! Plus, I really want to see Wil and Dart as a tag team. When I had max rank support with them, Dart's crit was higher than his hit most of the time. Wil's wasn't only because he almost always had 100 hit. I know the community hates on Wil, but as a pair the 2 did wonders for me on my playthroughs
Prediction: Neimi loses to the Axe Trio, Colm loses to the Knight, and their combo run loses to the Mercenary
Edit: I can't believe I thought there was a 4th Ax class. Also, wasn't the Steel Ax supposed to be a sword/bow so those units could actually damage the Knight?
I think you could have unequip Colm vs the Armour Knight so the weapon triangle bonus was not active, and Neimi could snipe it; you could have saved some vulnearies. Love the series

Not necessarily a bad unit but I think rath would be very interesting since he could use his mobility to heal without taking damage (all cavs can but they don't mind being attacked as much since they can retaliate)
I'd love to see Raven and/or Lucius, and then perhaps both of them together? I think that would be fun
This was great. I'd love to see tag team in the future as well. Lucius and Raven, Christmas Cavs and maybe the Whitewings knock offs
I haven't seen the duo Run part yet so I want to predict that you do let them have their support and that you ban AI abusing enemies and making them run back and forth if that's even an option in the current level layout
Neimi and Colm relying on each other to take down the Knight was unintentionally adorable
13:31 The best strat against the armor knight was to put Colm's sword in Nemi's inventory for him to not face weapon triangle disavantage and up his dodge chance since he does no damage.

Someone who might be a bit interesting here is Dart. A lot of his strength as a character is the fact that he goes up to Berserker class so as a Pirate he could very well die somewhere between the axe gauntlet (due to no weapon triangle advantage) to the Myrm like Neimi.
Do Gwendolyn/Wendy for a bad unit from FE6
Just found the series but I think this would be cool to see with promoted classes as well! Fire example Neimi as a Ranger with swords could add the flexibility needed to get through some of the tougher match ups like Sword master etc.
I will once again recomend Rebecca, just for the use of Rienfleich, for commedy purposes.

Would love to see Rebecca go through this. The one I had in my FE7 run managed to cap Strength and Speed at level 20/17 without any boosters. She was so blessed that I sacrificed Fiora because she had gotten several great level ups that chapter already.
Listen, Ephraim will get his turn, sooner than later, you cannot prevent it.
If you’re taking suggestions, I would love to see Syrene. She’s promoted so she might be too strong, but she joins so late no uses her. Maybe a level 1, 10, and 20 run.

This is looking like the release of units in heroes - start off with the popular lords, and then get more and more obscure characters. Look, he's even doing paired up units now.
(Fr tho, that was a fun idea! For future runs, how about a de-make Nephenee? An unpromoted FE8 recruit trio? or even a max level silver lance Seth to try and overcome the final girl?)

Take Moulder, Natasha, and L'Arachel in as a promoted class, but put them against the promoted class of the enemies in the gauntlet. Might not be super fair to them, but could be fun to see how far they can make it

@themarauding which, to me, is quite insulting. I feel like Oswin is in a better game for "playing slow," and he has slightly better growths. (Notably, 10% more res). I like Oswin too, but Gilliam was my first Armor Knight Experience. So that's just bias speaking, I guess.
It's good seeing some not so strong units this time around. At least they did better together tho like brother and sister should.
If you ever do this with promoted units, I'd like to see enemy units like the Black Fang face enemies at their level

Honestly, Trec or Noah might be funny to do since they are kinda thrown away as the replacement cavs.
In my last two runs for FE8 I did use Colm, once as an assassin another as a rogue, no reason aside from just liking his design. I did use Neimi in my last run and I even intentionally S ranked her swords over her bows because I thought it'd been funny.
Dorcas would be great just cause he’s Dorcas. On a more serious note, I’d love any of the FE7 Pegasus sisters
I think you should have had neimi and colm support, it's part of their gimmick where they start with being able to get C support, and can get A support very easily and quickly. Would have definitely helped with some matchups like the knight and wyvern knight
I see that there are the random axe drops in the gauntlet still, doesn't that give an advantage to axe units since it lets them have the option to use the other axes if it would make a difference like being able to 2 round something rather than 3 round?
Okay, two wildly different suggestions.
First is Roy, and he gets two fun rounds because he has both the Rapier and the Binding Blade.
The second suggestion is Myrrh, the first of the Manaketes.
does myrrh have a chance versus the uber lance child? I feel like that might be the only character that can potentially beat it
When you rank the units at the end, there's a mistake in how you number them. Instead of 1, 2, 3, 3, 4 it should be 1,2,3,3,5
That's typically how it works in case of ties. This way it's a lot easier to understand the meaning of coming in a certain place. For example coming in 56th place means there were exactly 55 people who were better than you. But the way you number things, there could be 55 better people, or any number higher than that.
I wanna see Natasha and Joshua. But give them no vulnerays when they are together

Ranger Neimi is the way to go. I always have her on my team when I play through SS again. I like colm but I’ve always hated the animations for the Assassin Class so I generally find myself using Rennac more.
Should have traded Colm's sword away when you were trying to dodge tank the land users with him

Wade/Ward/no-one-cares-about-his-name. Not only is he bad, he can tag with Lot for these runs.
Also, while Christmas Cavaliers may tag together, I think Forde should tag with Franz cause brothers and stuff. Heck, even have Lance tag with Lot because Lancelot ;P

Honestly, you should do a secound run for each character were the character and enemues are lvl 20 promoted (with either steel or silver weapons) .
You also should remplace the vulnerary with an elixier, because the vulnerary gives a disadvantage to characters who have more hp and don't get fully healed by a vulnerary.
Also lance and axe users (both sides) should get hand axes and javelins (tomahawks and spears when promoted).
They are just so common that it doesn't make sense to fake away these tools.

Neimi is a good bad unit and early archer. Not particularly strong, but has an early promo item only she can use and can transition into a ranger that more often than not has rather good combat off just growths.
Colm is just better Joshua. Both are fast and double easy, but being a theif is just much more important for a sword locked unit than having higher stats.
You want bad unit, try knoll and bartre, i would suggest karla too but she promoted

I mean no disrespect to the animator of the original, but if I wanted to send my own animation for an intro for consideration, would you want that / how should I send it
I will probably be keeping the animations for this series as I really appreciate the work that was put into it, but if there's ever any animations/artwork etc you want to send over then the discord is the best place for that sort of stuff :)
