Clicked on this video and mine got delivered a minute later
Excited to receive this! Found as you said. About 5 years ago and took to it immediately. Definitely deserved a hard box set.
I find a lot of films, some of the best ones require a 2nd viewing and the key is just being open to checking something out again.
It’s a dope movie. I own the blu ray. Pre ordered the 4k
I remember seeing a trailer for this and then it sat in the studio vaults for a year or two before getting a straight to video release. It’s never gotten the loved it deserved. Should have gotten a theatrical release. Still my favorite horror film of the 2000’s.
My copy is on the way I can’t wait!!
Sold out on Arrow and Amazon 😭
Hammer House Of Horror series, and American horror Stories, are some I like, too.
I seen it when it came out on the home media. Not sure if it had a theatrical release. Me and a few others were talking about it. I'm a fan of True Blood too. And I remember seeing this movie about the time True Blood hit. Anna Paquin is what drew me to this movie.
Nice edition from Arrow, sad that the Friday the 13th (2009) got an audio commentary by the raging feminist Alexandra Heller on the Killer cut version; she is also on The hitcher 4k uhd from Second sight, she does more activism commentary than anything else. Arrow/Second sight could have skipped her!
Thanks for the thumb up, u understand what I mean!
In general I only watch vintage special features for this reason. Arrow adds tons of garbage commentaries by random nobodies.
Not true about trick r treat not blowing up until 5 years ago....i was making videos and big in the youtube horror community in 2009-2010 when we did videos for the love of the genre and not for monetary gain and EVERYONE was talking about trick r treat when it was released on blu ray and dvd in late 2009.
Yes, in the “horror community,” not in the mainstream.
@@midlevelmediawhere can order it!
I first saw this on HBO few years back
I remember buying the dvd to this movie back when it was released. I was browsing the movie section at Fred Meyer and Sam on the cover caught my attention. I bought having no idea what the movie was about and hadn’t seen any trailers on it. This movie has become a must watch every October for me ever since. I preordered the 4K as soon it became available.
OMG!...I have to get this one for sure!!!
Got my copy this past Friday the Arrow Store Exclusive 4k edition. Came in at a great time.
Great pick up Ken. Thanks for the review
I am hoping Barnes & Noble gets this movie inside their stores
It will be $50 there lol
@@dannyschoe4874 Yes, I am aware. I’m hoping it will be on sale on release day!
@@dannyschoe4874 they have sales multiple times during the year. That will bring it to $35.
It's scary that it is that old
Eh, I was not especially impressed by this 4K, it’s decent
I love this movie from thd beginning I. Love anthology films im waiting patiently for mine to be delivered soon
So ken have you seen tales of halloween or the witching season both good anthology films too
There is child death in this, but it doesn't go to the level that terrifier 3 goes to with child dismemberment.
Arrow Video did the 4K of Trick R Treat instead of Scream Factory which Scream they did a 4K Release of Killer Klowns From Outer Space which was originally had a Blu-Ray release from Arrow Video and Arrow Video did a 4K of Trick R Treat that originally had a Blu-Ray release from Scream Factory and Scream Factory did release a 4K of Killer Klowns this year which Arrow did the Blu-Ray of it and now Arrow Video release a 4K of Trick R Treat which was originally release on Blu-Ray from Scream Factory and Scream Factory release a 4K of Killer Klowns From Outer Space
which was originally release from Arrow Video and also this is a strange year for Arrow Video and Scream Factory to release their films that have been previously release on Blu-Ray to 4K this year what a strange time to be alive.
Watch tales from the darkside tv series.. theres a similar skit with an old man and kids asking for candy
Send me the booklet :D :P Btw, is not Mono u mentioned regarding audio, it is Stereo...sigh, we are not in the late 70ies or early 80ies when stereo was expensive to have! Unless u are really poor in making movies for the very first time today, then maybe u will u have mono but I doubt it, most low budget movie have atleast Stereo today.
It’s *THE* Halloween movie. The best one to watch on Halloween night.
Oh rlly? Better than universal dracula, Frankenstein, wolf man, Cushing Frankenstein, lee dracula, or Poe corman? I dont think so! For Halloween you must stick with classics
@@reginaldforthright805 and Halloween 1978
Kenny this my fav movie Sam is awesome I got 4k last one from Amazon
I like turtles. 🐢
I love lamp
I love lamp turtles
Trick r Treat is a great movie! Should have my copy on Monday. Now, we need the pending announcement for Trick Or Treat!
Now that it's in 4k, Hopefully it'll finally be a good movie.
First like!
crap film and so are all the Halloween movies and Friday the 13th all over hyped and not what i would call horror more like a bore feast all low budget crap
@@bioshock6935 Damn. Tell us how you really feel. Lol
@bioshock6935
You must be fun at parties 🎉
@@midlevelmedia He's a SW IX fan, Ken. lol
@@WeThePeople_76 OH do come on these films a just rubbish for horror . Recommended films for Halloween to watch evil dead and the out standing remake 2013 version. Conjuring 1 and 2 and Insidious 1 and 2 Return of the living dead and part 2 for the younger kids for a sleep over Halloween party or poltergeists. Yes there's so many good films out there other than the these over hyped films that are just so outdated to be classed as a horror film
@@bioshock6935my advice to you: dont watch any horror film made after 1999 (except trick r treat, underworld, and van helsing) as they’re all low budget garbage schlock made with cheap digital cameras and awful cg
