You *can't* bin the lore, the canon, the tone, the themes, AND all the legacy characters... and then still have people respond positively to the trademark you bought. Because that lore/canon/etc.? Yeah. That's what gave the IP value in the first place. You have effectively bought an entire lot of cars, stripped out the engines, replaced them with freezers that contain No Name Brand soda (and complimentary No Name Brand t-shirts)... and are surprised to find they don't move the way they used to.

Apart from the fact that I had almost completely forgotten about the existence of this series... no, I have to say that I don't care. I wish all the crew involved that they have done a worthy job and that, if necessary, it is recognised, but it is not a product I would drool over. I'll be honest: the only product that could really convince me to invest money and time into it would be a trilogy (not a TV series, but films designed for cinema) that talks about the war between the Jedi and the Sith millennia before TPM. I don't think it's too much to ask.

I'll be honest: the only product that could really convince me to invest money and time into it would be a trilogy (not a TV series, but films designed for cinema) that talks about the war between the Jedi and the Sith millennia before TPM. I don't think it's too much to ask.

in all honesty i hated andor in rogue one and had zero interest in an andor show, pretty much all my friends who liked star wars were all in the same boat and i think we are not the minority in that and probably is what played a part in why the show just didnt get the views.
Rogue Squadron is the one guaranteed winner they had on their hands and they canned it.
Remember that 4-5 yr period where Hollywood decided Jude Law was the big new thing and put him in every movie? When Hollywood wants to push someone (like Pedro Pascal), they really push them hard. Now Jude Law is doing a 3rd rate Star Wars show.
I was in the theatre at 4 years-old to see Star Wars, in 1977. Nobody loves it more than me. No-body. Just sayin'...

I gave up on Andor . I thought it was boring . Plus it's about a supporting character of a prequel of a prequel spin off. I know it has it's fans but not for me. Didn't watch any of the Acolyte and I will probably give Skeleton crew a miss unless it gets great word of mouth
