I envy how you're able to showoff your movies. Everything is so neatly organized everything's in it's place and a place for everything. I live in a studio and my collection is all in boxes. My studio looks like the warehouse ending of Raiders Of The Lost Ark lol!😂 Your disc collection beats mine but my VHS collection blows yours out of the water lol!😂 My Holy Grail are 250 horror VHS imported from Venezuela. Anyway outstandingly awesome collection good showing and cool video Ken!👉🏼🙂👈
I really wish I had the room to do something like this but I am stuck living in a finished basement bedroom of my parent's house. They hate everything about my collecting hobby and would love nothing more than to come marching in with boxes and throw all my movies away. They might as well throw me away while they're at it. I'm at somewhere around 7000 horror movies on VHS, DVD and blu-ray.
The room looks nice. I know what it is like running out of room. I have 4 of those Atlantic Media shelfs full with boxes in the storage room full of DVDs and studio regular Blu-rays. Like you I have a couple smaller shelves, top of shelves, top of speakers, top of media center hosting movies. I am a sucker for Vinegar Syndrome and have one of those Atlantic Media shelves full of Vinegar Syndrome titles.
Never fails every time I think I want to do a room tour somebody in the collecting community does one 😂 great looking room Ken! Running out of room is always a problem.
Woah woah woah do you have every 90s Batman movie on VHS except my favorite movie ever Batman Returns or did I miss something. How could you do this to me 😆
Great room update, Ken! Good stuff there! Do you recall the very first VHS/DVD you ever got and do you still have it in the collection? My very first DVD was a Marilyn "Documentary" type from 1996. I still own it amongst the library I have.
Ken you have a nice set up. I noticed my Kino Lorber collection is growing also. KL became my favorite boutique label. Would you have all this insured just in case of floods or fires? That is a lot of money invested there.
If you want a shelf that is shorter I would recommend the Atlantic Oskar 540 Wall Mounted Media Storage. I have two of these. I just have them on the floor and they are fine. They do not need to be wall mounted. They are 40 inches wide and 36 inches tall.
TH-cam recommendation talk about an impressive collection. You are talking thousands of dollars of Media content especially the oop and low numbers collectors, edition. I’m getting back into collecting Media again but mostly 80s & 90s Movies 🍿 takes me back to my childhood memories.
So jealous! I've never had a separate room for media. We don't have the wall space for traditional shelving. I have to rely on the spinner racks to hold a high capacity in a small footprint.
Great film room. I wish I had this kind of space. I'm not a completionist. I only collect physicals of films and shows I like. I'm almost at 100 4Ks now, about 400 Blu-rays, and got a bunch of DVDs in the closet. Good films that haven't got upgrades yet.
Wow. Massive collection and cool room! I'm doing my darndest to keep mine around 1200 - 1400, periodically weeding out blind buys that I don't love. I let my dvds go.
AWEsome, Dude... Lovin' it... Ppl dt understand today that having a collection like this is the future.. Only problem is the source like our 4k players dying. When the streaming service stop showing old movies & shows. U gonna wish u can see them again and this is the only way to keep them 4ever. So, collect & save and also get a spare player. Because who repairs anything today lol. Jus re-buy and be Happy...
Cheers Ken. Its official. Im done w Amazon for physical media. 3rd time in a row I preordered something. Nightmare steelbook required another “authorization” the day of delivery. Same as the 2 times before. Now its probably sold out, and my order from months ago is being reprocessed. Done. Gruv came through w the slipcover. Im a gruv guy from now on. Good recommendation.
You have the newer version of the fog. I truly wish scream would purchase this. We have a blue ray we had to order from the uk of that. And then we had to go out and buy a special player
Looks good, Ken. Seems well organized. I arrange everything in alphabetical order, but it can be an absolute pain when you want to add a title ‘cause it involves moving everything from that letter on. (As a result, I tend to wait until I have a full stack of watched titles to add.) The unwatched I keep in a separate pile. BTW, I have a tin movie poster (measuring 8” X 12”) of one of your favorites that I’ll be mailing out in the next day or two…
Organizing my collection is definitely an ongoing struggle. Every time I think I've built enough shelves they end up full. Right now I have them mostly alphabetically but then some are grouped by franchise like Marvel or Star Wars.
Alphabetical would drive me nuts. I keep them in decades. Tried doing alphabetical and it just seemed so wrong having a 70s movie next to a 2010s movie and so on lol
I absolutely need this box set in my life. It's quite rare to find for sale and it's definitely not cheap. But I will definitely acquire it at some point. Great collection, my friend. Keep up the excellent content.
By the gods man, you need a theater. They dont cost that much. $2000 will get you started. $1k for a very good 75" flat panel and $1k for a 5.2.2 dolby atmos sound system (no soundbars!)
To collect VHS tapes you need such insane amount of space youd have to live in a castle, i dont see how anyone can seriously collect blurays 4ks and vhs at the same time, unless youre a millionaire
Please post videos of it! I love seeing room tours. My dad was a collector too and I inherited it from him so I love seeing cool content. I subbed to your channel so I’ll keep an eye out for content.
Ken, I have a question with all your dvd's, blu ray's and 4k's why not invest in a quality audio system? You're missing a lot of encoded material in those tracks that a sound 🔉 bar just can't produce also you said the plasma you have it looks like a samsung is 4k ( I think) the last run of plasma's were the panasonic infinate black pro plasma's the highest resolution was 1080 p. I have a 65 inch version and had to purchase a seperate Sony 4k lcd to enjoy the benefits of the 4k upscaling. Panasonic unfortunately decided not to pursue 4k plasma because the cost was to great and most consumers wouldn't go there when lcd was brighter and over all more efficent. Just curious thanks.
I don’t like the way you organized your movies Ken, therefore I have unsubscribed from your channel. Have a nice life Ken. Just kidding, nice place man, thanks for the tour.
You need to spend less on physical media and spend more on a home theater. Get a 100 inch OLED and 5000 watt tower speakers. Why have so much physical media and a garbage system to watch & listen to it on?
Your room is deffo not a mess it looks awesome.I love the blue lighting.
@@BrianSmith-lj6ug Thanks!
Glad to see someone still rockin' the plasma!
This is what I've been waiting for! I just grabbed a new shelf and this gives me so much inspiration
New shelf just make me want to fill it up! 🤣

Ty for the content Ken! I’ve been reorganizing my room too so great minds think alike! Keep up the awesome work and those shelves look awesome man.

Thanks for sharing. You have an amazing collection. I love all the Second Sight releases. 😍
Great set up! Your collection is amazing
The collection is looking great! I have over 5,200 Blu-rays with 1,200+ 4Ks so I totally feel ya about running out of space...the struggle is real LoL
Boy Ken, that looks fantastic. Good job.
Your floor looks like mine now😂 I have tube tv from 2002 I bought new, vhs, dvd look great on it, play vintage games on it as well.
WOW...like own personal video store!

Phenomenal collection Ken. Really impressive.

I'm impressed!
Glad u mentioned that dvds look better on lcd tv. I thought I was the only one who noticed that. Good looking out man.
I got rid of most of my VHS collection when I got into DVD. At the time, I did not see the reason to keep them. I did hang onto a few.

A movie room like that needs and deserves a 65” or larger LG OLED tv.
I think the TV Ken has right now is an OLED 65.
He got it to replace the Plasma.
@@MrEdWeirdoShow if it is, it looks small compared to mine. Or it’s the camera.

Did you ever get to watch Trainspotting yet?
"You're Gonna Need A Bigger House"
Will u ever run out of room? How many movies do u have now?
Have you gone through your DVD's to check for disc rot? I did and found a few WB titles with rot.
