Not sure if anyone else commented but to delete that time slot you press the - button… I have a fluval Evo & bought this same light. I also have a 7foot 1000L Cade & run AI hydras it’s the same to delete a line also… ps. Love your Channel… & just like prestige reef i too had an angelfish specific tank, lost everything to velvet & am now starting again, I live down under in Australia,
Would this light fit in the stock light of the fluval evo? My son wants a marine tank for Christmas and seeing all the upgrades etc I was looking into this exact light and wondered if it could fit in the stock lid as want to avoid jumpers lol😊
I can't commit because I didn't try it. but I reckon it would. You might have to get creative for mounting it and the heat might affect long-term reliability though...
I’m planning on getting this light.. I’ve ordered a waterbox 25G peninsula. Do you think I should get the 21inch? I’m thinking about getting the raised bracket to put on it. I can’t afford to get the prime hds just yet.. it might be an upgrade light in the future though! But I think I just want to keep LPS anyway as they look nice (and are easier I hope 😅)
I have 2x 12 inchers on my 2 foot long LPS tank and the Fluval was only 4cms shorter than the tank you're looking at. I think I'd rather go for 2x 12 inchers than 1x 21 inch if that's an option. Otherwise, a you probably wouldn't regret getting the 21 inch, but a 12 inch would be OK I reckon.
@@ReefDorkXtra I was looking at prices and the AI 16HD isn’t actually much more expensive than the 21inch. I’ll keep an eye out for Facebook marketplace haha
Currently trying to decide between the blade and the fluval sea for my Evo. I want to keep the stock lid, and both will fit it because I do not feel like having to set up a automatic top off since I already am running a wave maker, the light, the pump, and a refugium light for my second chamber Refugium. I like the multi spectrum customization of the fluval sea but the blade seems to be a little bit brighter and I do currently have a Crosa clam, which is doing decent under the stock kept higher up in the tank. I am mainly looking for something that will give me better coral colors with some added brightness. The hardest thing in my tank is the clam. I do not intend on keeping SPS corals. However, I cannot find a video where someone reviews a single inch AI blade grow light with a par meter. If possible, would you mind doing a review of this light with a par meter? I don’t doubt that you would get a ton of hits on the video because I know that I can’t be the only one who has this tank and is considering this light, because it fits so well in the stock hood. on a sidenote, you should see if you can get your hands on a fluval sea and do a review as well on that light on the Evo. Those are two of the main go to lights for this tank if you want to keep the hood for evaporation, and there are not many videos out there on them.
Go onto my main channel and you'll find my full review of the 12 inch Blade with PAR readings. It's not particularly strong and might not be enough for a crocea...
hi i have the ai prime 16hd on the same tank and my blues are at about 80%, uv at 40 and whites at 30. My corals dont seem to be growing could this be too intense? edit: i have LPS, and softies and i do dose 2 part.
Sorry to hear that. If you have the same tank with the light at the same height, it shouldn't cause any problems. But it's always better to have too little light rather than too much.
Thank you very much for the video I run 4 blade grow the schedule you run is 100 intensity?
Have you thought about putting the grow above your head during the day..? 😅(Only joking)
Might sprout SPS?

Would you say the fluval Evo with the upgrades is the ideal desktop tank for the price ? Others in comparison are alot more expensive.
It's definitely up there - the other options are more square shaped which do look good, but the peninsula style of the Evo looks great too.
@@ReefDorkXtra thank you. What alternatives would you consider ? If you run filter floss, is there any requirements for a skimmer ?

Did you try pressing the dustbin after selecting the time point you want to delete?
Yeah but it just deletes the entire schedule. The minus button deletes a time point though
I just picked up the AI blade grow couple days ago. Anyway you xan share your preset for this light?
No but you can just copy this video
Wow
Hi, will a 12" fit a Aquaone 60 60cm long with the standard fittings. Want to use glow for pop.
Don't think so, no - you'd need the next size up or to DIY a longer bracket
I have the fluval evo 52L - what lights the best to make corals really bright buy for cheapest ?
But*
AI Blade is the best cheapest bet I know of but I've never used any of the cheaper amazon type lights
What arm/fixture did you attaché the blade to ?
The stock ai prime bracket plus a 3d printed bracket I designed

I forget what intensity I had this at but you probably don't want it much higher, especially if you have the light mounted lower than I do.
Currently trying a 19l lps tank this will be hard lol (kill me now)
Yep! 😅
Do you get alge grow with 100 percent
I haven't set it to 100% but you'll get algae with any light
What percentage do you have it at
I used your schedule and killed almost my whole tank, have no clue how you haven't done the same, way to strong

How can you run a channel at 129% ??? I don't get how these work, it looks strange...
You can overdrive some channels if you run the other channels lower - it's how all AI lights work I believe
