Thank you very much! As a Brazilian myself, I can’t explain how wonderful it is to see people from all over the world listen, appreciate, play and teach Bossa Nova! Best wishes of luck from Brazil !!! 🇧🇷🍾 Ps: thank you for the pdf, it helps a lot!
just came across your site Paul and I am very impressed. I like in particular that you have a very pleasant personality, one that makes one feel that it is entirely possible for one to play well by practicing your teaching methods. Many years ago I attended a jazz school in Canada with the hopes that I could become preficient and maybe even play live. Only to find out that the starting position for the courses was WAY above my level. I did two simesters giving it may all only to become completely discouraged. I felt I played better when I knew very little. The goal was to have a hobby that I love for my retirement(I am now 70yrs), one that did not cost an arm and a leg. I was recently thinking of selling my Selmer super action 80 until yesterday when listening to my favourite soul and r&B on hammond b3 on you tube. I felt the passion arrise in me again and then looked to see if there were any online lessons (there were none when i was learning just the real books) I cannot read well enough to see a new score and play so I really enjoy your play along scores. I will spend some time doing your circle of 5ths to get the scales under my belt and improve my chops. After that i plan on signing up for your membership. One thing i did learn was I tried to cram in too much at a time and became over whelmed. Thanks Paul. Cheers from Canada.
Hi Trevor, great to hear from you. Yes, take your time with this stuff, its always better to learn a small amount really well than cram too much. Any questions about the membership feel free to email me.
What a fantastic solo! Definitely worth transcribing. Thank you again Paul, this is awesome, you are definitely making Jobim & Stan enjoy their stay in heavens. Only problem is - time, since I am so Busy with the Improve course of yours! Keep up the great work!
