I can understand why some fans would want Gible to evolve cause Ash would have Garchomp, but come on, most of half the Pokémon Ash own are not fully evolve and they've all prove to be powerful without evolving.
My favorite thing they did with the gag during the series was when they used it to locate Piplup, knowing full well that wherever Piplup was, the Draco Meteor would find him. Lol
Gible's Draco Meteor hitting Piplup was one of the funniest running gags out there. I do also like how it had reprocutions for it's actions even if unintentional.
Ash’s gible becoming a garchomp but still keeping the goofball personality would’ve been something to see though I wonder how that would’ve played out if Ash ever got a mega stone for gible and actually managed to evolve it (though it was kind of a missed opportunity for ash to get ANY mega stones even with his greninja having that gimmick)

Garchomp like gyrados become incarnations of destruction. Mistys gyrados obeying her orders were an exception not the rule. So a mega garchomp with gibles personality may not work
Gible is a late addition done right. We immediately got to see Gible's character, which is something we didn't get too much with Phanpy in Johto and Snorunt in Hoenn.
If gible ever evolves into a Garchomp, the second he uses draco meteor. It needs to somehow hit piplup. Does not matter if piplup is across the globe. It still needs to land its mark.

I imagen years later where Gible is a fully evolved Garchomp. Its training for its next battle in Sinnoh when it uses Draco Meteor it manages to travel from Shinnoh to hoenn where Dawn was practicing for her next Pokemon Contest Tournament and hit Piplup.
Gosh I would love to see a Garchomp with Gible's personality. It would be like Cameron's Lucario with having a mostly serious species of Pokemon act like a total goof outside of battles. Yeah sure, it would be strong, but I more just want to see a Garchomp nibble on a tree for no particular reason.
The Draco meteor gag on Piplup was one of the best things the writers could have done. I felt bad for Piplup, but the joke was just too hilarious and they nailed it every time. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I loved Ash's Gible & all the battles it was in, if it was ever to evolve into a gabite I think the perfect time for it to evolve would have been when it mastered using draco meteor.

While it was a shame that Ash left Gliscor behind for a while and that he never evolved Gible, I don’t think Ash could’ve made a better choice with a capture to replace Gliscor for the time being
If you ever make other video styles, you should totally theorize (although its pretty much impossible or pointless) what the rest of Tobias' team could have been. Maybe just throw darts at random legendaries?

I love character studies like this. Ash's Gible is not only one of the single funniest running gag characters in television history, but it's one of the more compelling Pokemon stories. I found and rescued my dog Mark Shaggy from an abandoned home. He is quirky like Gible, eating pretty much anything, and often biting my hand when playing. Mark also comforts me when I'm sad and sleeps by my side. I can say from experience that stories like these are relatable and heartfelt.
How much do you wanna bet that the day that gible becomes Garchomp, it masters Draco Meteor but there's only ONE meteor that strays away and hunts down Piplup with laser accuracy.

As awesome as it would've been to see Ash with a Garchomp, Gible serves as excellent comic relief for the kids watching to enjoy whilst almost having a lot of *ahem* bite in his battles that older fans can enjoy. I mean, he landed rock smash on a Darkrai and lived to tell the tale. That's a core memory for him right there.

Ash is such an amazing trainer. He is so patient with his pokemon no matter what extreme thing they do and he loves them whether they are weak or strong and that is why ash goes down in the animr hall of fame along with other anime legends
I really want Ash to reunite with Gible and have evolve into Garchomp offscreen or at least have it already evolved into Gabite then have him train it until it evolves into Garchomp in Pokémon Master Journeys I hope this happens as I can see him battling with his own Mega Garchomp against Cynthia’s Mega Garchomp would be awesome! 🙏

Ash is such an amazing trainer. He is so patient with his pokemon no matter what extreme thing they do and he loves them whether they are weak or strong and that is why ash goes down in the animr hall of fame along with other anime legends

You know what I gotta tell you about Gible when it used Draco Meteor by not mastering it I was laughing so hard when Gible used the unmastered Draco Meteor on Piplup and also it used the unmastered Draco Meteor to make it a lot easier to find Dawn’s Piplup
