Ash giving up a champion primeape so that some other guy could get a championship with him too was the dumbest decision I’ve ever seen in Pokemon history
Depending on how the series may start, i can see Butterfree offspring joining the team, and who knows, it may have branch evolution. Lastly, for Naganadel, I can see just like the main series game get into multi verse which they did have in the tv shows slightly but this well be more immerse.
For Naganadal and Sogoleo, I think they are still his, but similar to how Goh’s Suicune was with needing to do tasks instead of staying in the lab, they also are doing needed tasks. Ash could ask them for assistance if he wanted similar to how Charizard and Squirtle were in the Johto series and Gliscor in Sinnoh.
I think the same thing of ash’s greninja too ash said it himself they are always connected though the bond phenomena plus it still listens too ash’s command greninja is still ash’s pokemon 100% it’ll comeback one day
People say Greninja was weak for losing to Charizard with a type advantage but mega charizard isn’t fire, flying, it’s fire, dragon so it’s regular dmg against water
i think it stems from the fact that the deciding move in that bout was Blast Burn which defeated Greninja...not really helping that in the previous match Ash-Greninja took out a Mega Sceptile with Water Shuriken...they weren't really playing types well in the kalos league.
If Ash could bring back just ONE of his released Pokemon, who has it gotta be? And yes, I'm aware that Squirtle and Primeape are "in training" and that Larvitar and Nebby were not "formally caught in a Poké Ball," but they fit the bill well enough, so I wanted to talk about them anyways.😉
I always imagined the P1 competition Ash was in as a local event, and that there were higher levels- multi city competitions, regional P1 championship, inter-regional P1s.
@@charusharu Now, I understand the line perfectly. Martial Arts Tournaments in Japan Have a set champion. That champion is REQUIRED to defend their title Regularly. Given that is Reffered to as the P1 GRAND PRIX, It's LIKELY Bi-Annual, or Just Annual. The man's offer is to train Primeape, Who WANTED THE TRAINING, So it could defend its new title... not so much to win the competition, but to MAINTAIN its place at the top.
It will always be ash and his faithful best friend pikachu but I haven’t even seen the new series yet and idk if I want to since ash/pikachu and co. Isn’t in it as main protagonists and such
Plus ash also said even if greninja and ash are separated they’ll always be connected too each other plus greninja still listens too ash’s commands so technically it’s still ash’s pokemon
Thinking back to Ash's Tobias battle, I always felt that would have been a great moment for Primeape's return. It could have resulted in the reveal of its ability being Vital Spirit after one of Darkrai's Dark Voids failed.
I believe PrimeApe is the only Pokémon that didn’t get a revisit with Ash trough the journeys episodes where he met his old mons… even buttterfree and Pidgeot came back but not primeape… and imagine if it came back to ash and Evolves into Annihilape 🥵
I want a video explaining why ash’s Charizard is so powerful. It literally feels like it’s a perfect ev/iv with a new nature that boost all its stats at the cost of it being more difficult to train.
I'm just a little upset that they could have made the episode like I want our special on the final episode of Ash journey where he meets up with Primape again before the episode ended just like with Butterfree and Pidgeot. You also forgot that he had captured some Ultra beasts as well and had to release them and you forgot about Beedrill and Seaking that Ash had caught in the Johto Region and that Ash traded is Butterfree for a Raticate to a trainer that loves to trade and traded his Aipom to Dawn for her Buizel and Ash had also caught Haunter but gave it away to Sabrina the psychic type gym leader
Larvitat was with its mother last week saw it. Larvitar had been violently separated from it before. Why it didn’t trust people. Took it a while for it to trust Ash. It did trust him and then the others eventually. But it needed time to mature. Probably if/when Ash returns to that region, Larvitar would probably wouldn’t hesitate to join his team. You were focused on released Pokemon. Don’t forget Gible. Work with it to evolve it into Garchomp. Imagine how powerful his team would be.
Hm, fair points and opinions, I guess we’ll see. Although, about Pidgeot, I’ve heard that apparently Ash’s Promise to return was a Dub only thing and wasn’t actually said in the Original Japanese Dub.
Yeah, I made a video on that at one point but it was so long ago I can't even remember the nuances of what I researched lol. (it's still on the channel if you're interested)
I believe the anime writers of Pokemon Journeys wanted to bring back Ash's Lapras and give it a gigantamax form since gmax Lapras wasn't shown in the anime. I believe the problems in production especially due to covid and the fact that the last six episodes were hand drown by just one artist are the reasons we didnt see gmax Lapras and so many other Pokémon. And also the reason we have gotten so many filler episodes.
Looking at a lot of spots no one can capture any of his Pokemon that he has set free as they are still technically caught. So with that in mind is Pokemon that are roaming wild are free. So in meaning if he ever wanted to he could come back to any of them again. For Primeape he never handed his poke-ball over so as said he can come back for him whenever. Had to give a little look back to make sure.
I don’t know if it’s a miscount or I just miss something I did stop watching Pokémon around Sun and Moon because it just got really confusing with it. Going to move to Disney. But Charizard with mentioned didn’t circuit return to the team? Or was he just not mentioned?
I think Squirtle needs to evolve, and Bulbasaur always remains Bulba. Could you imagine when Ash returns, he immediately reveals his Pikachu chose to evolve? Then that series explores those events.
-Pidgeot returned to ash’s team -Squirtle, primape and goodra can be called upon whenever ash needs them, we’ve seen it -maybe when they’re ready butterfree and his girlfriend will settle down at professor oaks lab with the rest of ash’s Pokémon -one day maybe professor oak can create some way to build a water way that leads from his lab to the ocean close by that way lapras can visit and come and go as he pleases -I bet once he finishes getting rid of the vines in kalos, greninja will probably find his way back to ash and reunite with the rest of his Pokemon at professor oaks lab
Blows my mind that team rocket are still somehow able to steal pikachu for an amount of time pikachu and ash should absolutely know what there plan is and how insanely powerful his pikachu is there’s no way team rocket should get anywhere near pikachu
The unfortunate thing with an Ash returning to the anime is that the Pokemon Company would have to see-saw between pulling in nostalgia points, and trying to sell their new protagonist Liko to viewers. Choosing Ash to appear threatens acceptance of Liko. Choosing Liko makes them lose old-timey pokemon fans to wane interest in the series
Primeape returned in the last gen 4 series opening scene. Perhaps the writers wanted to bring back Primeapw to defeat Tobias's Darkrai since Primeape can have the Vital Spirit ability which makes it immune to sleep status moves such as Hypnosis. Also as a fighting type Primeape would have had an advantage over the dark type Darkrai. But then again the wheel turned not in favour of Primeape.
thanks to ace trainer liam, i can't stop laughing at the fact that ash really did get scammed out of his primeape because we know dam well he didn't need no training after he won that championship lmao
Ash never caught Solgaleo or Larvitar.. so he never also released them. Squirtle was also never released, just handed back to lead the Squirtle Squad. Its still his, like with Pidgeot. He never broke or left their pokeballs.. Same goes for Primeape, he never released it, he left it to train with someone else. Its still his.
By the time Ash comes back he needs to have Greninja 3 Megas at the same time in battle, permanently gigantimaxed butterfree and pikachu needs to be light speed.
I feel like Larvitar doesn't count regardless, since Ash never officiall owned it. Same applies for Solgaleo. Like...if you count them... you also have to count Haunter, but also Buzzwole/Pheromosa and Stakataka, but also the Seaking he caught in a contest (Since especially with the latter three, he caught them in a Pokeball). If you count Solgaleo, a Pokemon Ash travelled with, you also have to count Meloetta, a Pokemon he also travelled with.
True, but I think people get caught up on the semantics, as these Pokemon really bonded with Ash and were even in Pikachu's World Championship vision along with his other Pokemon. It's an interesting area for debate haha.
they'll never rejoin ashes team bc sadly ash became a pokemon master / the champ so the show ended u prolly alr knew that but i kinda wish that lico the main character of the new pokemon horizons show meets ash at least one time
