👨🏫About Professor Silver & Pokemon Explained
Each episode of Pokemon Explained profiles a different Pokemon from the main cast and breaks down its COMPLETE history on the anime, including all of its battles, appearances, character development & significant storylines.
We'll be covering all of Ash and his companion's Pokemon.
We're just starting out, so if you have any requests or feedback, I'm game to listen! Please leave feedback in the comment section or email me at Alex@ProfSilver.com. - ภาพยนตร์และแอนิเมชัน
Who should we tackle next???
Ash's Pignite
Goh’s Inteleon
Idk if you already did this but Cynthia’s garchomp
history of Bianca’s emboar
Ash' dragonite
Sceptile deserves so much more respect than he gets. The writers did kinda undermine him by not giving him a highly captivating arc like Infernape or Greninja but he's easily one of Ash's best Pokemon to date IMO. The Darkrai victory was so rewarding in a way because it felt like he finally got to have his big moment that he should've gotten at the Hoenn league.
Would you people chill out with the darkri stuff
@@robertbreschard3493 LMAO. Why exactly?? It's literally one of the if not the biggest win in all of sceptile's moments in the anime. Also, learn to spell Darkrai first before asking people to chill out over a youtube comment 😂🤭
@@Jayakrishnantr5217 I agree bro, there hasn’t Been a single of Ash’s Pokémon that defeated a pokemon that’s stronger than Darkrai

Ash's Sceptile is the reason why Sceptile became my favorite pokemon.
You must like Sawyer's as well :)
I herd you like sceptile.
Same!
The battle that ash’s sceptile had with Tobias’s darkri and the fact that he defeated it, will allways be remembered! And I’m impressed with how well sceptile improved as a strong Pokémon became especially on the team of ash Ketchum! And he definitely deserves another redemption. 😁👏
Leaf blade is so cool
And people argue that because ash’s other Pokémon may have weakened it but to be honest sceptile carried by far
Darkri was already injured 🤷🏼♂️
@@Biscuitsx22 it healed up with dream eater!
@@Biscuitsx22 Darkrai was hit by 2 super effective moves Megahorn and Rock smash. So Sceptile's critical hit must be eliminating him.
When Grovyle evolved into Sceptile and couldn't use any attacks... I felt that.
Poor guy haha
It was struggling sadly 😔
@@comics4556 All because of a broken heart
@@Mannyindahouse yep, but thankfully it got some cool wins after it moved on and got its moves back
I really liked the mini arc of Sceptile losing his moves because of a broken heart. He didn't take the soft rejection well and it affected his performance. That's pretty relatable since a lot of people can get thrown off their groove when going through what Sceptile did.
I'm still hoping that he gets the second shot at love with Ash's bayleef haha
Or even Mallow’s Tsreena.
@@ProfessorAlexSilver I’d love to see them teach other new moves

@@CaptainScorpio24 Who said that? Hoenn League was shown on Cartoon Network India. It later on shifted to Pogo during Sinnoh league and very early part of Unova league.

Sceptile be like:
- Rejected by Meganium, hates Tropius
- Humiliated by Regirock
- Uses that as motivation
- Beats Spencer’s Claydol
- Ties May’s Blaziken after first-timing a pokemon contest
- Catches Speed-Form Deoxys, the fastest known pokemon at that time
- One-shots a fully-healed Darkrai using Leaf Blade
- Takes on Latios after beating Darkrai
- Refuses to elaborate
The ultimate gigachad pokemon
Sceptile has become underrated compared to later aces, but his storyline and personality makes him stand out for me along with his battling abilities.
Definitely fell behind imo but still cool
What are ash’s ace Pokémon

Ash's Sceptile was easily one of my favorite Pokemon to watch grow and kick butt throughout Hoenn and the Battle Frontier.
Loved its battle with spencer
To bad ash didn’t think of mega evolution for sceptile
Ah yes, Sceptile! Easily one of Ash’s coolest Pokémon and a great Pokémon in general. I’m still bitter over the fact that it lost to Luvdisc of all Pokemon but I’m glad his battle with Deoxys, Slaking, and Darkrai cemented him as the beast he is. Thank you for such a great retrospective, Professor!
My pleasure! Losing to luvdisc was pretty embarrassing lol
Yeah agreed.
Props to Sceptile to being the third Pokemon that Ash owns to defeat a Legendary Pokemon.

That's more of an honorable mention.
Ash’s Sceptile is not only Ash’s strongest grass type, but also his ace in Hoenn. I’m so glad you finally made a video for him!
Only one more hoenn Pokemon till I've caught them all ;)
I think Sceptile lacking a major arc and role in the Hoenn episodes is kind of a symptom of Ash himself lacking one. In my opinion, it seems as if the writers couldn’t get the balance between Ash’s story and May’s story right which eventually resulted in Ash just lacking a strong story. He didn’t have a major rival throughout Hoenn because they wanted to give the rival and focus to May, and the Hoenn league was pretty lackluster and arguably the second worst out of the first 6 generations (Unova being the worst). In Sinnoh, they corrected this and there was a monumental improvement in Ash’s and his ace, Infernape’s, stories.
The saga definitely had a lot of promise but I think it suffered from a lot of the same things as Johto. The writers really seem to take a risk in diamond and Pearl by making infernape such a beast and adding Paul as a long-standing rival
This Pokémon is the greatest
Second worst?? Nah bro it’s the second best
@@skymanxd6366 unpopular opinion but Johto is by far the worst imo
After rewatching it I think Hoenn might be my 3rd favorite league after Johto and Sinnoh. The battles were some of the best and it had the largest quantity of them out of any of the leagues. The only problem was that Morrison and Tyson weren't introduced early on so for most people their battles weren't as meaningful as Ash's other rivals. That being said, from what we got, I did enjoy Ash's dynamic with Morrison more than his with Paul.
Sceptile's win against Tobias' Darkrai is certainly a crowning achievement, given Sceptile lost to Brandon's Regirock and was the only known Pokémon to defeat Tobias' Darkrai. Also, I would agree that Sceptile is likely due for a return in the spotlight and perhaps an upgrade in the move department.
The legendary is brought in to kanto
I love Sceptile's reaction to the king of Pokelantis' orders. He's just like "woah woah, you okay dude". On a side note, I'm kinda fine with Grovyle not evolving yet. Makes his evolution and subsequent losing of moves in Battle Frontier very impactful.
Definitely needed to show that he has more honor than to hide behind a referee haha
We loved to see him battle in the world coronation series but noooooooo
Leaf Blade looks amazing on Sceptile, like a samurai drawing his blade. I like to think due to his nature, he enjoys quiet tea time with Oak and Kingler at the lab
I would love to see that
this was literally the reason I love sceptile. His evolution, even as a grovyle he was like “awesome”. The branch, then finally the evolution. When he came back in Gen 4, i screamed YEAHHH when he took down Darkrai
I was so surprised that it got the win but it was epic
Sceptile will always be one of my favourite pokemon of Ash's. It helps that the Treecko line is one of my all time favourites anyway, but his stand-offish yet caring demeanor really warmed me up to him.
This Pokémon would have been perfect for the world coronation series
Despite its weaker record compared to Ash’s other aces, I really enjoyed it’s development and personality. A cold, calculated cowboy/sheriff with a heart of gold. And credit where credit is due, it was always a fighter and never backed down from any opponent, Legendary or Luvdisc. (Admittedly that loss was embarrassing for an ace, but he still did his best)
I would have loved to have seen it reveal Dragon Claw/Dragon Pulse to do a little dent to Latios though! I think it would have been a fantastic mentor to Sirfetch’d too, teaching it to be a more calculated, reserved knight.
I still really enjoyed it, but infernape sets a high standard haha
Sceptile, such an awesome mon! The Battle Frontier was such a fun era of the anime. Maybe one day the writers will remember it!
I love sagas where old Pokemon return
Thanks for the trip down memory lane. Ash's Sceptile and Grovyle from Mystery Dungeon is one of the reasons why I like the Hoenn Grass Starter so much.
I wish they did more with mystery dungeon
Without a doubt I fell in love with Sceptile due to Red rescue team n the overpowered bulletseed
Even though Sceptile's win rate is not awesome as his other aces still Sceptile personality and his legendary victory on Darkrai make it up for that. He is calm, collected and cool tempered. His many lose also comes when he was still a treecko and grovyle. He was definitely Ash's hoenn ace
That’s there personality
*Ash’s Sceptile 9/10*

Great thoughts from a great mind
@@ProfessorAlexSilver That’s right!
THANKS for doing Ash's Sceptile. Ash was always really hard on Sceptile in the beginning in my opinion. but, it helped Sceptile into becoming one of Ash's Strongest pokemon. I hope to see it Mega Evolve one day, and it'll learn new moves like Dragon Tail, Dual Chop, and Frenzy Plant. I think Ash should use Sceptile again if he has a future rematch against Tobias and his Darkrai, and Mega Evolve against it. Did you know that it's the same height as ash's charizard at 7 foot 3?
Those moves would all be awesome. The only one I really wanted to never lose is leaf blade
@@ProfessorAlexSilver agreed. it's it's signature move, and an expert at using it
Yes finally! Man I love ash’s sceptile (not because sceptile is my favorite Pokémon) because it’s so good in battle, so fast, and it’s so cool! And once again nice vid as always.👍
Thanks, this was a fun one to make
Other than Charizard, Sceptile defeated a Legendary.

Grovyle is my favorite Grass type Pokemon of all time he's the epitomy of "cool" like a old school Greeser/Ninja 🍃
Ash's was extea cool 😎
Finally! I’ve been waiting a long time for this one! Sceptile was always one of my favorite of ash’s Pokémon and it’s return and victory over darkrai absolutely thrilled me, although I do have to agree with your main complaints. It’s role as an ace definitely isn’t as clear-cut as infernape and greninja. Still, It was consistently my favorite of ash’s hoenn squad and it’s leaf blade totally makes up for its initial lackluster move set! Great video!
Thanks!! More to come :)
Gardenia pregnant
Sceptile will always be one of my all time favorite grass starters ash’s and sawyers played a big part in this
I do agree Sceptile should've been the undisputed Hoenn ace, or at least shared the ace role with Pikachu (I guess he kinda did...). He's definitely got the strength to prove his claim to be one of Ash's best, imo.. though I admit his win rate doesn't indicate that too well XD can't be helped, he had a lotta growing pains. Thanks for the class, professor!
My pleasure 😊
After all this
It's a far out wonder that Sceptile didn't develop a close relationship with Bayleef at Oak's lab since he had a strong infatuation for the Meganium that healed him. Bayleef was always very affectionate as well (towards Ash at least).
I always wanted that lol. I thought it'd be great narrative closure to Bayleef's obsession with Ash.
Dude i really wished they did like it’s not a meganium but it’s a start
I think Blaze Infernape vs Overgrow Sceptile would go either way. Infernape has the Power advantage But Sceptile’s Much faster and NOT too far behind in power.
Infernape seems to be more consistent in activating his ability
Infernape would dominate.
Infernape's Blaze is not normal XD, compare Infernape's Blaze with May's Blaziken Blaze and you'll see the huge difference
@@rexlapis7587 yeah but Sceptile most likely has a better base form and I’d personally argue a slight above average overgrow
@@totallyshorts4920 in base form I think both of them are equal, Infernape has a really high winrate after all and only lost like once after it evolved into Infernape and that was against Flint...
Where to begin with this one...
While I do think there were some missed opportunities in terms of his arc like a "Bro-Mance"/Friendly Rivalry with (Eventually) May's Blaizken long before the episode where they battled and more episodes in Hoenn dedicated to his character development... I think his Arc in Battle Frontier more than made up for it, especially around his final evolution. Those three episodes... The episode he evolved, When he further bonded with Ash two episodes later, and the Battle Palace episode are all classic in my opinion.
Sceptile, by far, had/has one of the greatest personalities this anime has ever had, and I know the writers think this do, due to the fact that several Pokemon that have appeared in regions after him have adopted a similar personality like Hawlucha and Sirfetch'd. The writers knew how popular his personality was during the Advanced Generation, and I absolutely love it. Reminds me somewhat of a Han Solo-like character. A rebel, who likes doing things his way, only for him to discover the meaning of teamwork, friendship, and responsibility with a strong heart. I adore these kinds of characters in any media. That's why I love watching Sceptile on-screen.
There's so many reason I made a fan-fic with him as the main character... Which is a bit of a redemption story to go with some reunions... And could be a nice way to end Sceptile's story/arc in the anime. I would, personally, love to see Sceptile have one final arc, in which I can feel that his role has truly come to a satisfying end... Whether it be he finds a place to protect and lead as King and/or be worthy of someone's affections...He would deserve it, for a character that the anime... And us, as an audience, needed.
Honestly, the warrior personality has been used in almost 30 to 50% of Ash's Pokemon XD They all have the same goals to be the strongest haha
Brilliantly put. Ash’s Sceptile in the anime is one of the major reasons that Sceptile became my favorite Pokémon. I feel that its personality perfectly matched how it looks and compliments its skills really well. Although I do agree with Professor Alex Silver that Sceptile should’ve had a major arc during the Advanced series and played a more important role, I also agree with you that the arc and major role that it had in the Battle Frontier made up for it.
That’s the thought of the team that count’s
I like the Han Solo compassion
Is May’s Blaziken male or female? I always thought it was female
As a kid when I first saw Ash's Treeko debut in the anime he instantly became my all time favorite Hoenn starter.
Sceptile had one of the coolest designs in Gen 3 hands down
Sceptile is one of my most favorite plant Pokémon of all time, hopefully we get to see more sceptile in the future “He The Goat”!💪🌿🍃🌿🍃💪🦎
I'd love to see it mega evolve and get in more wins
CALLED IT! Although didn't commented on the community tab i said to myself "is finally Sceptile time?"
I always loved Sceptile his attitude and his warrior spirit since he was a Treecko always made me like him and beating that cheating Slaking that should've have his truant ability kick in like 70 times was awesome, and although...we better forget about Meganium and Tropius because poor boy...his reactions when he was unable to attack were gold although i was like...9 years old when it aired in Latin America i felt bad for the dude, and the less we talk about the Regirock fight the better...ugh i hate that episode.
His comeback in the Sinnoh League although his victory was in part the result of plot armor it was EPIC when it was the night of the episode premiere i actually was on the edge of my seat when he came back finally...to lose like 2 minutes later well at least he beat Darkrai.
It was a fun class professor also still waiting for Pikachu's Johto history 😏
I guess I did give away the secret a few times in the comments haha
It’s true treehouse is partner number one
Heart break. Yeah I can relate. Anyway, Like Ash's Swellow, Treeko is the reason why I picked him in the gen 3 games and I transfered it to my diamond game where it became one of my most powerful Pokemon.
I chose them as well when I played emerald 🙂
Very good version
Sceptile was my favorite Pokémon in that gen. You did such a great job. I love the extensive look
Thank you :)
Sceptile's bond with ash is up there with the notable aces like Charizard, Greninja, and Infernape. I believe he is worthy of getting a mega evolution next to Charizard. A lot of fans downplay Sceptile barely making ash's top 6, his win record doesn't really tell how powerful he is and the road he had to take to overcome his battles which was incredibly tough compared to most of ash's pokemon
Sceptile lost only to regirock and latios two.legendary
Sadness is Ash never even thought of having Megas of his other awesome pokemons. Imagine his team having Mega Charizard, Mega Blastoise, Mega Venusaur, Mega Sceptile, Mega Glaile, Mega Heracross etc. 🔥 What a team it would be.
I like how they did Sceptile in comparison to the other aces because the focus wasn't primarily on him. I like how it can be argued that Sellow and Corphish can be the ace of Hoenn as well because Swellow had an impressive battle record, and Corphish was used very often and Ash often recognized its strength. I don't really like it when an ace takes the spotlight.
We all love this Pokémon
That's true but sceptile besting a legendary cements him as ash's ace of hoenn
@@1mphulse I always emphasize that it is an assist and not, "Sceptile can beat legendaries on its own". Because without that battle, the ace is ambiguous.
@@joshkyei3105 darkrai was near full hp though and I doubt corphish or swallow would've even gotten him to even half hp
Sceptile may not have been the most prominent ace but he was an ace non the less
@@1mphulse I don't believe he was near full HP, because the anime did not treat Dream Eater like Darkrai was getting healed. And even if it was, they have established a difference between healing damage and healing stamina.
Sceptile is one my favorite of Ash's Pokémon it is a O.P fighter and warrior with the wins to show for it. If Sceptile ever return to battle one day it would be cool to see it as a Mega Sceptile and maybe learn Dual Chop.
It 100% needs that mega stone to prove itself Superior to sawyers imo
Or dragon paulse
My favorite! Was waiting on this one for a while! Thanks for the content, much appreciated 😊
My pleasure!
So people don't give him the respect he deserves but when you look at this video it tells you that sceptile is one of ash's strongest pokemon despite its many losses
I think Ash’s Secptile was cool and i liked its personality and is Ash’s best Grass type and it’s a shame Ash has yet to get another good Fully evolved Grass Starter since Secptile since how the writers messed up Torterra and Snivy and Rowlet never evolved of they did they would’ve been the redemption from Torterra and what’s is also interesting is that ash’s Fire starters like Infernape and Incinaroar have activated Blaze and Secptile Grassy Surge while Noun of his Water starters have used Torrent ability especially since Greninja had the Battlebond/ Bond Phenomenon when Will Ash get a water starter that will use its ability.
I think it was cool as well 🙂
Ash’s Sceptile is Ash’s Pokemon with the best character development in my opinion.
It certainly a contender for one of Ash's most memorable
I love the Hoenn saga man. So nostalgic watching from the perspective of just one Pokémon. My first ever season of Pokémon when I was a kid was Advanced Battle and I remember watching a ton of episodes like Charizard vs Articuno and Sceptile vs Blaziken back then. I probably have those episodes recorded on VHS as well, I need to find out which episodes I tape recorded someday

One of my favorite of Ash's Pokémon. Shame he never got to Mega-Evolve it. I always hoped he would have taught it frenzy plant.
I'd love to see ash get one of the elemental starter hyper beam variant attacks
Seriously, back when mega evolution was a new mechanic, I thought for sure we were gonna see a lot of aces returning for mega stone story arcs and then a solid rotation through the league… but no, we got a plot armor ash greninja, which is still cool… but it was so overpowered that the writers wrote it off… and to see ash properly mega evolve anything we would have to wait even more years for mega Lucario. Life doesn’t always go as we plan and I get the greater lessons but there is a seriously growing number of people that would really like to see ash win it all, we are currently so close. His journeys team does feel like a sort of love letter to fans; two major Gen 1 Pokémon that we would have only dreamed of him getting, his first fossil Pokémon, a serious 4 Gen missed opportunity being Lucario and the missed opportunity of mega evolution finally becoming reality and his current ace, and then the true mascot of sword and shield mr. duck himself Sirfetch’d… he finally beat Steven and Cynthia… let’s hope the writers do Leon’s story justice by having ash beat him, like the player in the game.
I could listen to you narrate the entire series. Such good quality videos! The way you tell each pokemons story is extremely compelling! Keep it up! Love the content!
Cool and seeing with my eyes gets me going

This was the grass Pokémon that ash finally evolved fully and in a region where he only caught one starter Pokémon, it was worth it similar to what happened with Froakie. It was a good to take advantage of stronger fully evolved starter Pokémon similar to Charizard. I think it was a missed opportunity that Totodile didn’t evolve because if it did he would’ve had three fully evolved lizard type Pokémon and it would’ve been fire water and grass. But as someone who always chooses grass Sceptile worked well for me in Ruby.
Well in sapphire
Totodile would have been fun as an evolved bruiser :)
Finalllllly!!!! The awesome grass ace we've all been hoping for!! Thank you so much for doing this one professor!!!😊
My pleasure, now I have to think of which Ace to cover next 😅
@@ProfessorAlexSilver Krookodile would be great! Or maybe even a rival's ace! 😄
ash's sceptile was obviously his best hoenn mon and it was so cool ever since it was a treecko and the fact it caught up to a speed form deoxys and took down a legendary pokemon darkai is a testament to how awesome it was I wish the writers would have bought back sceptile so ash could have mega evolved it
When you realize Ash set Sceptile up for failure his whole career by making him constantly fight Steel, fire, & flying types makes Sceptile's story nothing short of amazing.... basically all his life he's been up against adversity. Imagine fighting a Charizard & your own trainer😶😶
Good point haha
The battle frontier is a test for ash
It always upset me that when he evolved into sceptile that pound didn’t become slam…I don’t think Ash’s Pokémon have ever had overlapping moves if they’re on the same team but I would of loved to see him use moves a bunch of different moves (mine back in RS would know leaf blade, dig, dragon claw and false swipe 😜)
Pound was there waaaay too long
Finally🔥🔥🔥🔥👏👏👏. Been waiting for Ash's Sceptile history for a while now
I hope it was worth the wait :-)
@@ProfessorAlexSilver definitely was!
Great videos as always. The most powerful Ash's pokemon is still debatable, but in terms of speed, Sceptile is one of Ash's fastest pokemon
It’s a big big deal
Thanks!!!
In my opinion sceptile is more stronger faster not powerful than infernape
Deserve more screentime
Great video! Sceptile is my personal favorite of ash’s aces, I feel like it had the best balance of wins to losses to be believable while still being an obvious powerhouse and ot got a lot of wins but didn’t prevent the rest of the hoenn team from getting wins to the extent that some like inferape did
I do somewhat agree though his character arc/narrative growth could have been a little better. And definitely could have done more in the hoenn league, he should have won at least the battle against Morrison (I kinda think Pikachu made sense to be the last against Tyson, if they really wanted the hoenn battle to end with a meowth Pikachu makes the most sense to fight it as both are some of the most important Pokémon and sorta rivals) but I think the darkrai victory largely makes up for it
Yeah, the lack of arc is a tad frustrating 😖 still cool tho 😎
I love these videos so much, keep up the amazing work Professor Silver!
I intend to, thank you!
You really showcased the growth and history of a lot of these Pokémon well
Thanks!
It’s a good time
Ash’s Sceptile is a male.
Yup :)
I really like these and I am glad to see some more recent ones along with ones from 2-3 years ago. Are you ever going to do one for team rocket's Wobbuffet?
That Blaziken vs. Sceptile battle had me on the edge of my seat when I was a kid!!
11:12 Ok that scene is perfect for a Plankton speech disaster. 🤭🤭🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
XD
@@ProfessorAlexSilver I knew you’d like my 💡
Yo, prof. You are the man!! Love your videos and appreciate all the hard work you put into them. Thank you!!
Thank you!!!
Thanks i was waiting for this
My pleasure, I hope it was worth the wait
Been waiting FOREVER for this!
Hope you enjoyed :)
We all love this
been waiting for this!!! awesome video!!
Thanks!!
I like this it gives me insight on stuff I don’t understand
Darkrai was an absolute menace catching bodies left and right and Sceptile getting the W against it showed how strong he was. If any other of Ash's pokemon could bond evolve like Greninja it would be Sceptile for me it just kinda fits an aesthetic for a fully evolved warrior type pokemon
I feel like sceptile is one of ash’s Pokémon that whole heartedly loves him after Pikachu❤
Treeko line is the best of all starters imo. And i have a thing for dragon types too so when he bacame the first grass/dragon when mega evolved my mind was blown.
Oh yes I’ve been waiting for the history of Ash’s Sceptile. I’m pretty familiar with it, it debuted in the episode where Ash and his friends traveled through the forest back in Hoenn. Treeko cared very much for tree and Ash even helped grow it. It joined his team after that. A few losses it had was against Burly’s Makuhita, Ash kinda pushed it too hard to fight and they had to figure out another way to beat Makihita(who then evolved into Hariyama). Pound wasn’t doing anything so they had to try something else. I remember their special training which involved the correct timing to dodge the waves. In the rematch, Treeko triumphed. Later in the Advanced generation saga, it evolved into Groyvle during the battle with the trainer’s Londred(who then evolved into exploud). Fast forward to battle frontier, it evolved into Sceptile while fighting against Team Rocket and after it got rejected by the Meganium it had a crush on and it couldn’t use its attacks for a while until the episode where they met one of the frontier brains that had a claydol and Venusaur. The reason for that was that it was suffering from a broken heart, a broken heart can take a while to heal. Sceptile was one of Ash’s male Pokémon that got rejected by their crushes, there was Totodile and Osawott. When Sceptile was used in battle again in the Sinnoh League, it wiped the floor with Darkai, it withstood the dark void and took it out. Even though it got taken out by Latios, it was still a good comeback. The attacks it used was pound, quick attack, leaf blade, and bullet seed. Sceptile is one of Ash’s strongest grass types
Definitely one of his strongest :) Hope you liked it!
Thx for the video professor silver 😁😁
You summarized my thoughts totally. While I will always and forever love Sceptile, as he was one of the earliest of Ash's Aces that I recall as a kid, and will remain my favorite of the Hoenn Starters, as a result, unfortunately I just admit he failed to receive the same acolades of Ash's other aces like Infernape, Greninja, Lucario, or even Charizard, just because he didn't have as fully realized of an arc as those others. But he certainly still stands out amongst the rest, regardless, for if nothing else, than that solid defeat of Darkrai. A true GOAT to stand amongst the rest, therein. Bar none.
I've been waiting for this one for awhile amazing vid professor
Thank you so much!
Ash’ all time best party
1. Pikachu
2. Charizard
3. Infernape
4. Sceptile
5. Greninja
6. Snorlax(heavily underrated in the anime)
I've seen some people downplay Ash's Sceptile because his ratio of wins and loses isn't the best, however that really doesn't matter when Sceptile has some great victories for him, while most of his loses are against things like Metagross, Charizard, an Elite 4 Altaria or Latios.
It’s a big shock to lose everyone else
your videos are really enjoyable to watch
2 words badass, and cool
This video was just so good too
Thanks!!
