Tip: After y'all set up your number, log into setting, go to calls, and change your voicemail greeting. If you don't change it, when people call, they will hear 'The Google subscriber you have reached is unavailable". Not sure that's the impression you wanna make, lol.

You need to list your business number with the 411 Registry otherwise you won't be approved..Google voice doesn't allow you to list of the 411 Registry

I repeat do not get a google voice account ! they can cut off or suspend your account for no reason at all and they have no direct customer service ! dont be cheap pay for a phone number from a real telephone company !

How to change the outbound caller id? When I call someone it shows "Google Voice" on their phone, which cause someone not to answer.

Google voice doesn't allow you to send the same text to multiple people or make too many dials at one time so that's something to think about for you people who are going to be on the phones a lot for your business
Yea they block you if you send the same message and mark it as spam and suspend your account

Hey Destiny, how do i go about changing my business phone number from personal number to a separate business number. I registered my business with my personal phone number and didn't come across how you should have a separate number for your business a few weeks after i registered mine. Is it too late do do that? Do i have to amend anything? Any advise would be much appreciated! Thanks for sharing valuable information for small business owners.

When your creating a personal google voice, would you log into your personal email or business email? Does it matter which one you log into?

Hi, have you heard anything about phone numbers needing to be registered with 411 for legitimacy with credit companies? I heard once it wasn't good to use Google voice because they're not registered or something.

Don't use Google voice! You will not get business credit because it cannot be verified with 411... apparently she doesn't know this yet

Thank you for this simple step-by-step video. I watched another video before yours and none of what he said made any kind of sense. One question though. It shows how you can make a call from your computer, but how can I make a call from my cell phone from my new number? I don't want to talk from my computer nor do I want my regular phone number to show on the recipient's end.

I used my personal phone number with the llc since I didn’t have a buisness phone number. But now that I made one should I change it if so how would I do that?
I think it's important to know that you don't own your "free for personal use - not business" number. There are multiple ways to lose the number and other issues that can cost you business. A big problem if you advertise or want to ever grow your business. Google just uses this "free" service to undercut small business phone service providers. You're not legally supposed to use it for business.
It's say it can't use my personal number so sign up? What should I do use someone else number ?

Hello, I watched your video and I did not download the app first but it let me pick a number but then when I got the app it’s still making me choose another number but when put my number in it’s says that I can’t get another number. It will not let me use the number I chose how do I fix this? It’s basically showing that I already have a number but in the app I tried to unlink it but it’s basically saying I don’t have a number

You can basically do one per person. It’s per cell phone number.

Be aware that Google can recycle your number, because it's free. I had mine taken. Not sure why or how?

hi Destiny, i was wondering if you can help me. i just started my llc, got my ein, business mailing address and my duns #. all my information matches. the phone number i used was a free google voice phone number that im planning to connect to my phone. is it okay to use a free google number as my business phone number when im opening bank accounts and requesting loans? also, can i use my personal e-mail address at a bank to request a loan? because ive already used my personal email address when setting up the llc, business mailing address, ein and duns#. will this be a problem for requesting loans or is it okay for me to use a professional business e-mail address when applying to a bank loan while all my other information uses my personal e-mail address?
You can always log into your account and change your email in account info - switch it to your business email address.

I seen other how-to videos and the person said that by not having a business address, email, or phone number, a business can denied loans or credit. Will this register as a proper business number as opposed to gmail as a business email??

@@taneishasimplyme931 I have all now. I created the Google Voice number and set the parameters to forward to my personal cell and when I receive a call, my business name comes up and that way I know how to answer. As a personal call or as a business call.
