It is so sad that these brave women need to hide their faces with mask, because of our society's degradation extremism. This "society" will run after them if they don't. They are the real heros standing up to the injustices, they should be at the forefront, rather they are forced to hide themselves.
I was wondering why they are wearing masks
It's farce
@@taneemtaha4230 what farce? You know what will happen if they do not do this.
One is a man
The one in pink is actually a man. Not a woman.
It’s just sad that they have to hide their faces. However the goons who did all the harassing in ichra did not have any such fear to hide their identity. Shows the actual face of our society
Because the law in Pakistan protects the culprits and debases the victim. The fervor of those ashiqs will dissipate quicker then ether if only a few false accusers are brought to justice and punished accordingly.
They also didn't want aurat march to be associated with one person
One is a man
Abey jahil dont get brainwashed by this propaganda .
It's a good thing that they can't show their faces, they are promoting LGBTQ under the pretext of women's rights
Bravo! All of you criticizing them should feel ashamed. Your mother and sisters have their autonomy, whatever little they have today, is because of courageous women like these two who fought the patriarchy 50 years ago. Your daughters will grow up to be in a better place than today because of the struggles of these women. You closeted misogynists, patriarchal men who never has to face the struggles of a women should just keep quite instead of saying anything negative.
People like these two should be commemorated because they are fighting for a better future.
Bro wanted to remove misconceptions about "aurat" march and decides to invite trans (not intersex) activist. Kudos to the host and the invitees for ruining it all
Zoroaster & Baphomet, both, are androgynous gods.
@@waqaskhawaja4008 sure good. How's that relevant
Imagine women advocating for transgenders and transgenders advocating for women. How inhuman!!
It's not just about people who have gender dysphoria which is a real thing. But rather about people oftentimes minors who are affirmed to undergo genital mutilation and hormone injections to get into different gender roles from what is assigned to them at birth. It can have life altering consequences that is devastating for a lot of people
Moreover in Pakistan, instigating these issues won't get you anywhere. It would only stoke public hatred further and mark you as a fringe element, loosing support not only from men but of many moderate women. It never helps them, it literally destroys their movement and the efforts of so many people
That's why when women's rights are concerned, it's better to keep this element of the western society out
I'm literally a staunch supporter of Aurat March but affirming with the current western narratives won't get them anywhere. Try to localize the issue, so that people can relate to it. Why do you even need that validation if it's literally shunning away majority of the people who can resonate with the women's causes
it would be wonderful that these videos have English subtitles for those who don't speak Urdu/Hindi. Greetings from Kazakhstan
Thank you for the suggestion
I second that
Good job Shahzad for letting people hear the opinion & thoughts of the unheard.

As girl, i just wnat to say, i am not as brave as they are to speak up for all the injustices. I am although now empowered but not so much to become part of any such event or publically speak in pakistan. But one thing i will make sure these injustices don't go to next generation.
Instead of marking it as a conspiracy theory you boldly acknowledged "love jihad"..... Salute from INDIA
Yes I was also shocked. They understand it because they have seen it very closely in rural Sindh.

They say a person should choose their gender according to their feelings and we have seen that in west and also in other countries people are now identifying themselves as dogs or cats based on their feelings then if a person kill someone and then say i am 10 year old then it should be considered as legal? Bcz in the end its a feeling
You can feel like a child, but you cannot "feel" you're 10 years old. One is a feeling, one is a fact.

India has gay pride parades in almost all cities and despite having a heavy radical Hindu/Muslim population against the LGBT, nobody comes to oppose their pride parades.
That's how our country respects every schools of thought and that's what Democracy is all about.
Left, Right, Center whatever - we are Indians, ultimately
India has taken only bad Sides of Western Democracy
British created a monster in South Asia to destroy it's culture history ethicsv
Abay Jharkhand rape case went viral all over world. They travelled 66 countries including Afg, Pak, Bdesh but rape happened in India..Yaha stop talking about fake progressivism in India ie. Gay parades and shit..Im from India i know how regressive the entire society is towards Women, Hindu, Muslim Christian, all included
they are secular we build a country on the the name of islam ,you should understand this basic phenomena
@@junaidmohammed280Abey these rapes happened all over world even in west. In Per capita prevalence of rape india is far below. But the rxn of scoial media tell how much society is averse to it . These ills will never end. The most ideal scandinavian nation sweden has high prevelance too.
This Spanish women went to very unsafe deep place of india infested with civil war for long time. I m not justifying what happened to them. But one must also reman up with guards whernever they go. Its basic common sense. In Afghanistan they must have automatically covered themselves with hijab i'm sure.
Progressive isn't static concept . Its dynamic . There is nothing called ideal Progressive point. It keeps on upping the bar. US has recently upped the bar with BLM and LGBTQ reforms.
Indian society has progressed a lot from 1947. Whole history is filled with reforms. India Moslems definately have opposed reforms and even didn't allowed to come into the law.
When a govt or law implement Progressive policies doesn't spread all over society instantly. It takes 20 50 100 years to penetrate whole society. PURDAH is still a menace in Rajasthan in Hindus , similarly caste etx but indian govt isn't allowing them. They r trying everything for tackle the menace.
LGBTQ reforms have just started in india when other Reforms isn't even percolated to whole society.
But india is definately on the right path. I consider india to be a Progressive nation. We r quite behind the west in many aspect. But like economy we will also catch up with the west.
Indian has vibrant left Progressive ecosystem Infact they dominated massively before 2014 and even performed various judicial overreach.
Biggest reason of difference in socio economic indicators of hindu and Moslems in india is attitude towards progress and reforms in two societies. As ambedkar said Villages of india ar full of dirty heinous practises . Until india doesn't become urbanised(90% atleast) industrial nation we will have lot of ills. But with exonomy booming these will slowly end.
@@saqlainabbas4739 Ok Thanks for admitting that Islam and Democratic principles and Progressive values are not compatible.
Damn!! THEY ARE STRONGEST WOMENS OF PAKISTAN, RESPECT. BUT They are still stuck in this basic questions of women, lgbtq is legalised in India. Aurat March is such an ironic name for a movement to empower women.😅
Hint: pls do some research on the root word Awrah.
It is a reclaimation of the word like many opressed communities do (look up the roots of queer)
I agree... It should be "Mahila March or khatoon March"
@SR-df9jd yeah its because the work behaya has been used to suppress women who are bold
Theese words have been used to keep women down and i 100% agree with this concept of feminist reclamation
@SR-df9jd words used in urdu while sometimes having arabic origins have different connotations and have been used differently throughout the hiatory of the subcontinent than they are in quranic arabic
Thats how language works it is not static and even when the same words are used by different cultures they have different meanings and connotations
@SR-df9jd while i see where you may be coming i don't feel like i am the best person to have this conversation with since i myself i am not remotely close to being religious and do not care much for religious sensibilities nor am i an organizer for the movement to have inside knowledge of their goals and aims to market towards people who come from those religious backgrounds
While i can sit here and talk about the rights of people to express their opinions about topics in ways that are not in accordance with some interpretation of religion and how people interpret religion in different ways being someone who does not believe in the religion myself i dont feel like i am the best person to have that conversation
I am not an accountant or a finance person but the whole "finance" and "not an NGO" situations sounds very shady.
All money gets deposited to someone's personal account that everyone in collective "trusts", no audit, no accountability, Sounds really shady stuff. This situation screams "plausible deniability" .
Shahzad was on a guerrilla mentor role 😊. The guests held their ground well. Since he already started it, I will also suggest one ‘improvement’. It will only take only one person with that bank account to derail your fundraising activities. Lalach bahut buri bala hai. People will jump on it to discredit you for all time. please find an alternative setup or way.
I would also like to say that the grassroots and not the personality based approach is a very difficult but the right way. May more join your tribe.
It is not true that elites don’t go against other elites. The movements of communism, Naxalism, Protestantism, independence movements, land reforms, etc were started by enlightened elites. That is not a line of argument.
The new format is commendable.
Lastly, Bravo!!
🙌
Good one Shahzad
@36:38 im confused, arent all people with uterus collectively called women? What am I missing. This is something beyond my understanding. Not sure how does this terminology relates to aurat march activism.
I guess they are talking about transgender woman, and don't call it the new western thing, transgender communities in India and Pakistan have existed for centuries and they have a right to lead good lives too
@NovelTuber South Asian "Trans-Genders" are actually the InterSex, but no one uses that term in Pakistan because of the Taboo on using the term "sex".
Thus, the Pakistani Intersex community has been mislabelled as TransGenders.
They are different and their issues are also different to a large extent.
An NGO, or foundation can be setup easily, they can talk with the people at BeFiler, they are a great group of people.
I dream for that day when these brave women openly show their faces. We have to work for these freedom. kudos to them.
I dreamed for a day they would tremble of fear of showing their faces. That day is here.
As they said on the day of uhd, Allah is our ally and u have no allies
abey anonymous rakhna tha tou properly rakhtay?! This disposable mask won't stop them from being doxxed God Forbid
I have had this idea for a long time, that the biggest middle finger that women can do to the society is to hide their faces, not to hide the identity but to stop the objectification.
That's an issue with the mass today,
If I never saw it, then it never transpired.
Wow so proud of fellow pakistanis these guys few years back wanted to topple "pidr shahi nizam" now can't even show up their faces. Amazing. Alhamdulillah. May Allah guide them

29:53 They need to learn about how to setup an NGO, taking money like this is illegal, and can't be explained to the tax man. This is the same as "Foreign Funding" case against IK, there is no way to track (legally) which money is coming to them and from whom.
Take a sip of coke every time you hear the word misogyny or misogynist in this episode and by the end you will be bankrupt and have diabetes.
Massive respect for them 🫡
Its great to see these women showup in the podcast with their faces covered up. The point was never to eliminate evil but to make it afraid to come to light.

Haha, well done, bro. That could be a spelling mistake in voice typing, which is not important.
By the way, the thing I said is based on my previous experiences of these marches; don't forget the dances and nujras performed on the roads and the banners in the march. I didn't make them! They were displaying these banners,
"lo beth gai sahih se". Mean kya bana chahti ho behna?
We have some ethics and moral values, and we WILL NOT allow this obscenity. At first, it seemed that only our elders were the slaves of the West, but today, in the form of a new generation, a new slavery.
And yes, there are real problems that women are actually facing, and we should talk about them, but not this n0nsense.
Saal ho bhi gaya. Abhi kal to pichla aurat march wala podcast tha.
Oh wow, that is so sad. Women cannot show their faces when speaking for their rights. Let me tell you how I fully understood the power of their slogan 'mera jism meri merzi'. I was listening to a youtube video about persecution of 200 million Hindu dalits in India and the the guy said "meri mooch/hairstyle oonchi zat wale ko pasand nahi aya to wo bola meri barabari kere ga? mere bhai ne resist kiya to uski tange tor di. Mera jism hai main apni merzi nahi ker sakta." Those were so powerful words. I thought ham Bhartio se bhi ghatia hain. Aurato ko hamne us jaga per phuncha diya hai ke unhe yeh kehna per raha hai ke unke jism per unki merzi honi chaiye.
Lol. Got kinda shock when the burqa speaks 😁
For me the start was intellectual after why not NGO questions don't feel the pace was the same and after that utres thing energy went off..... I think the session should have a more knowledgeable power booster......

why don't you reach out to them and next time you, the mature one, can represent aurat march instead of these "immature" people?
Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs. Let's deal with the more fundamental and widely relevant issues on highest priority before bogging ourselves down with what is essentially obscurantist language policing & politics in our current context. Women's education, health, freedom of consent, freedom of movement, freedom of expression, and safety and security. Let's work as a team to focus our energies, emotions, and man-hours on the most impactful causes. Making your language ostensibly more "inclusive" (a la "persons with Uteruses") is in reality the most effective way of excluding lay folks from our causes right from the word go. Don't turn it into a clique. I'm not mansplaining, I'm just a person with balls (get it?)

Many valid points mentioned but eventually it boils down to affirmation of perceived gender identity which I personally dont agree with. Think for a moment of your own girl who would like to identify herself as a man do you think thats ok with you? If yes then please mention it clearly, we can have a difference of opinion but it should be quite clear of what you think is right or wrong.
Talking about trans men/women i personally wouldn’t want transitioned men to compete with my daughter in sports or going to a restroom that is designated for women.

Salam. Men and women are equal in human dignity in Islam. Shehzad did a decent job at raising tough questions but it still seemed like an echo chamber podcast sadly.
Men and women being equal in dignity but different in physical and mental attributes is unfortunately not what AM stands for. This is apparent from their use of the word misogynist even when describing unislamic values such as gender fluidity and transgenders (not intersex or khunsa). The LGBTQ+ agenda that AM endorses is primarily why I cannot support them. It dilutes their much more prominent narrative concerning abuse of actual women.
As always I try to listen to opposing views because of Shehzad's platform but I'll never understand how you can judge MariaB of hypocrisy while you think transgenderism is acceptable in islam.
May Allah guide us all to the truth. Fee Amaan Allah.
