    It is so sad that these brave women need to hide their faces with mask, because of our society's degradation extremism. This "society" will run after them if they don't. They are the real heros standing up to the injustices, they should be at the forefront, rather they are forced to hide themselves.

    Bravo! All of you criticizing them should feel ashamed. Your mother and sisters have their autonomy, whatever little they have today, is because of courageous women like these two who fought the patriarchy 50 years ago. Your daughters will grow up to be in a better place than today because of the struggles of these women. You closeted misogynists, patriarchal men who never has to face the struggles of a women should just keep quite instead of saying anything negative.
    People like these two should be commemorated because they are fighting for a better future.

    • @mantiquenawaz823
      @mantiquenawaz823 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It's not just about people who have gender dysphoria which is a real thing. But rather about people oftentimes minors who are affirmed to undergo genital mutilation and hormone injections to get into different gender roles from what is assigned to them at birth. It can have life altering consequences that is devastating for a lot of people
      Moreover in Pakistan, instigating these issues won't get you anywhere. It would only stoke public hatred further and mark you as a fringe element, loosing support not only from men but of many moderate women. It never helps them, it literally destroys their movement and the efforts of so many people
      That's why when women's rights are concerned, it's better to keep this element of the western society out

    • @mantiquenawaz823
      @mantiquenawaz823 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      I'm literally a staunch supporter of Aurat March but affirming with the current western narratives won't get them anywhere. Try to localize the issue, so that people can relate to it. Why do you even need that validation if it's literally shunning away majority of the people who can resonate with the women's causes

      @@junaidmohammed280Abey these rapes happened all over world even in west. In Per capita prevalence of rape india is far below. But the rxn of scoial media tell how much society is averse to it . These ills will never end. The most ideal scandinavian nation sweden has high prevelance too.
      This Spanish women went to very unsafe deep place of india infested with civil war for long time. I m not justifying what happened to them. But one must also reman up with guards whernever they go. Its basic common sense. In Afghanistan they must have automatically covered themselves with hijab i'm sure.
      Progressive isn't static concept . Its dynamic . There is nothing called ideal Progressive point. It keeps on upping the bar. US has recently upped the bar with BLM and LGBTQ reforms.
      Indian society has progressed a lot from 1947. Whole history is filled with reforms. India Moslems definately have opposed reforms and even didn't allowed to come into the law.
      When a govt or law implement Progressive policies doesn't spread all over society instantly. It takes 20 50 100 years to penetrate whole society. PURDAH is still a menace in Rajasthan in Hindus , similarly caste etx but indian govt isn't allowing them. They r trying everything for tackle the menace.
      LGBTQ reforms have just started in india when other Reforms isn't even percolated to whole society.
      But india is definately on the right path. I consider india to be a Progressive nation. We r quite behind the west in many aspect. But like economy we will also catch up with the west.
      Indian has vibrant left Progressive ecosystem Infact they dominated massively before 2014 and even performed various judicial overreach.
      Biggest reason of difference in socio economic indicators of hindu and Moslems in india is attitude towards progress and reforms in two societies. As ambedkar said Villages of india ar full of dirty heinous practises . Until india doesn't become urbanised(90% atleast) industrial nation we will have lot of ills. But with exonomy booming these will slowly end.

    Shahzad was on a guerrilla mentor role 😊. The guests held their ground well. Since he already started it, I will also suggest one ‘improvement’. It will only take only one person with that bank account to derail your fundraising activities. Lalach bahut buri bala hai. People will jump on it to discredit you for all time. please find an alternative setup or way.
    I would also like to say that the grassroots and not the personality based approach is a very difficult but the right way. May more join your tribe.
    It is not true that elites don’t go against other elites. The movements of communism, Naxalism, Protestantism, independence movements, land reforms, etc were started by enlightened elites. That is not a line of argument.
    The new format is commendable.

    Oh wow, that is so sad. Women cannot show their faces when speaking for their rights. Let me tell you how I fully understood the power of their slogan 'mera jism meri merzi'. I was listening to a youtube video about persecution of 200 million Hindu dalits in India and the the guy said "meri mooch/hairstyle oonchi zat wale ko pasand nahi aya to wo bola meri barabari kere ga? mere bhai ne resist kiya to uski tange tor di. Mera jism hai main apni merzi nahi ker sakta." Those were so powerful words. I thought ham Bhartio se bhi ghatia hain. Aurato ko hamne us jaga per phuncha diya hai ke unhe yeh kehna per raha hai ke unke jism per unki merzi honi chaiye.

    Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs. Let's deal with the more fundamental and widely relevant issues on highest priority before bogging ourselves down with what is essentially obscurantist language policing & politics in our current context. Women's education, health, freedom of consent, freedom of movement, freedom of expression, and safety and security. Let's work as a team to focus our energies, emotions, and man-hours on the most impactful causes. Making your language ostensibly more "inclusive" (a la "persons with Uteruses") is in reality the most effective way of excluding lay folks from our causes right from the word go. Don't turn it into a clique. I'm not mansplaining, I'm just a person with balls (get it?)

Think for a moment of your own girl who would like to identify herself as a man do you think thats ok with you? If yes then please mention it clearly, we can have a difference of opinion but it should be quite clear of what you think is right or wrong.
    Talking about trans men/women i personally wouldn’t want transitioned men to compete with my daughter in sports or going to a restroom that is designated for women.

    Salam. Men and women are equal in human dignity in Islam. Shehzad did a decent job at raising tough questions but it still seemed like an echo chamber podcast sadly.
    Men and women being equal in dignity but different in physical and mental attributes is unfortunately not what AM stands for. This is apparent from their use of the word misogynist even when describing unislamic values such as gender fluidity and transgenders (not intersex or khunsa). The LGBTQ+ agenda that AM endorses is primarily why I cannot support them. It dilutes their much more prominent narrative concerning abuse of actual women.
    As always I try to listen to opposing views because of Shehzad's platform but I'll never understand how you can judge MariaB of hypocrisy while you think transgenderism is acceptable in islam.
    May Allah guide us all to the truth. Fee Amaan Allah.
