Fun factoid.....the video hints at the truth behind the song. When his boy skips up singing "going thru hell" THAT is the REAL four letter word that he said.
The inspiration for this came from his sons first day of school. He was singing his dad's going thru hell song and the teacher taught him what bad words are. Then explained to Rodney about bad influences lol.
No....to hear him tell it is very heartwarming and sweet. He said the teacher was AMAZING and he is grateful to her for all of it.

I loved this song the moment I heard it on the radio. And I can confirm. My 3 year old nephew follows his grandpa everywhere, always copying him. I bought him a tool box with plastic play tools for his 3rd birthday just so he could play with his tools while his grandpa worked with his tools. It's so darn cute. xD
This song hits different for me, this was my uncle's fav song and when he passed away, it came on the radio and it makes me sad hearing it
