It is a slippery slope on that one. Typically you look for big spikes (amplitude) vs surrounding voltage. At higher rpm the voltage is naturally higher as the noise is just going to be louder. The rest is watching what it does on the dyno, adding racegas, etc. Testing basically.
@@AaronONeal1 ok that makes sense. I'm fairly certain I'm seeing phantom knock as it appears sporadic/inconsistent in logs and +/- timing adjustments seem to make little to no change. I suspect the aftermarket pistons in my viii just make more noise. In your experience, how much does a built engine affect knock values logged when compared to stock block? I've made no changes to any knock tables...

trying to learn ecu flash im getting a error when trying to open a downloaded bin file says curent definition im trying to remove a speed limitor from a honda motorcycle can you point me in a direction? need help
If you don't have the XML file for the bike or the right one it may read but doesn't know what to do after that. You'll have to find someone who has the definition file or can do the code disassembly to make it usable.

i have a evo 6.5 I can use ecuscan and use the logger but evoflash will not down load the program and comes with an error ????

possibly if their is enough suitable xml that has been pre defined or you can do the disassembly yourself for what doesnt exist.
