They keep releasing plugins but I've been telling everyone that Nameless has always been my GOAT. Now it's undisputed.
no the nameless is not the goat, better then the nameless and closer to mashugah is the Howard Benson by STL, this is the real goat, you dont need the Borgen speaker emulation junk for this sim, put any plugin or pedal before it and its a monster, only it does not have pitch and stereo but if tone is what your after the Howard Benson rules them all as far as brutal Marshall JMP 50 watt, all the other Marshall sims sold like JCM800 solid state versions, softube are ok but the kuassa are second to Howard benson, the flagship of Neural DSP is the mesa boogie, its so close to the Howard benson but boogie tones. , then the mercurial spark, these are the best Marshall sims.

all the AFD Marshalls in ik multimedia also suck but are better then softube, I think the 1980s Marshalls profiles avaable for free on NA using tonocracy or Audio Assault rule them as well, for metal there are so many sims but Howard benson has the crunch, I downloaded the stuff from this guys video and love it, I found it for $50 used on Knobcloud

LMAO as soon as I downloaded the update and saw you had presets, I loaded up "The Tone" sounded FANTASTIC in Drop C. stoked to have the modern features in this plugin now so i don't have to run anything in front to transpose etc. new effects are great too!
Sounds sick, Keyan!! The original amp was so influential for the scene, but I'm glad they've taken the time to modernise it a bit so that we can experience these awesome tones but with the new features.

Cheers for your 'pitch down but it sounds good' preset, mate ! Also did not know the room mic setting for the IR section, I expect it to sound super cool with dual tracked guitars if dialed correctly

Bought Nameless a few years ago.. I absolutely loved it. Then I tried other plugins, and eventually I stopped using it.
The X update made me come back to it and ho boy, it truly is absolutely amazing, and sounds even a bit better than it did before.
I really love this plugin because it's simple - I think I might have missed the updates for it... lollll

I had an okay tone with the original Nameless but with the update my tones had gained some girth and and ugliness that I love hearing. This is a game changer.

omg one of the best plugins ive used...i got the petrucci when it came out and it was my first DSP plugin and its amazing but i got this with this new update and have found the tone i as looking for that i couldnt get with the petrucci....this has already inspired so many riffs

Whatever interface you use just make sure the input gain is zero... is that what you mean? Or the amp gain? Just crank it up pretty much, unless you want cleaner tone(s), plug into the hi input and turn gain 2 down to clean it up. Or use just the lo input... for more controlled sound... depends what you're after. Bea's presets are AAA on this one imo.

I tried the demo versions of Nameless and JST’s Jeff Loomis, and I decided to buy Nameless. It provides so much girth to my riffs, completely satisfied with this plug in 🙌🏾
I own both, and I prefer the Nameless to play through. However for a mix, I'll use the lead channel of the JST for rhythm , just because it's versatility. I just wish the included IRs would be better, they are almost unusable.

A guitar with a Fishman Fluence behaves differently than one with passive Seymour Duncans.

That’s one of Ibanez’s meshuggah signatures, I believe M80M or M8M. Something like that. I have those sig pickups in my 8 and they totally crush 🤘🏼

I’ve never used that set on a 7 string. Right now I’m using a custom 9.5-70 set

I'm fairly new to these amp sims and so far i have only one plugin, Mixwave: Spiritbox - Mike Stringer plugin, which is a generally good plugin, but because Neural dropped Nameless X and the birthday sales, i'm wondering if i should get another amp sim that handles heavier tones especially well. For a 7-string B standard/Drop A tuning, would you recommend more Nameless X or Gojira X? Or something else? I've understood that Nameless is heaviest of all Neural's plugins but i still thought i'd ask someone wiser than myself
Gojira and Nameless are both great. Gojira is maybe a tad more versatile with the octaver, whammy and other FX pedals.
Both are great for low tunings. But if you want, you can try them yourself, you can do a 15 days free trial for each of their plugins.
Nameless X has a much cleaner and distinctive sound than Gojira X
Gojira is brighter with classic metal tunings like drop B, drop C, but the lower you go, the better Nameless X is 👌🔥
@@kibatsu embarrassing to admit, but i'm still such a noob and i only have one electric guitar, so i usually keep it in Drop A tuning, sometimes in B standard, the rest of the tuning i deal with transpose 😅 most of the time i play lower tunings, but because i also play so wide variety of genres, i want to keep the only guitar i own atm as close as possible to standard tuning.

I love DSPs transpose, its huge for downtuning but no as good if you go up thats why i prefer drop C on 6 string. You can go down easily and you wont have sound troubles if you go up because its gonna be just a little bit up ☺️

It’s a blend between direct tone and the lav mic that you can see clipped to my collar. It’s majority the direct tone, only the string picking noise coming through the lav

This New-Metal prog, djent, artsy-fartsy, whatever stuff is just a horrible way to demo the best guitar plug-in of all times. I just couldn't watch the entire video. Maybe next time, or maybe not...my two cents
