    I love that chaos halfling team iv seen before on your 7s playlist. Highly recommend that playlist to anyone who hasnt seen it. I may only play 7s from now on. Saves a lot of time

    Really glad to see halflings adding some variety in their roster. Opens up a lot of new strategies for sure!

    Even though Tiiiiimmmbbbeeerrrr! exists Jump Up is very handy for a Treeman. It guarantees that Mr Tree stands up and it makes failed GFIs less of a potential issue. Doubly so with the "unlimited RR per turn" rule.

    Since we have started stunties
    , it has to be Goblins next. Time for a good festering

      Gobbos are going to be fuuuun this edition!! Teams of Legend have delayed the Skill series though!

    You didn't mention Juggernaut. Has synergy with Brawler, one only works on a Blitz, the other only works on a Block!

    I think the saving or random will come down to how tv optimized the league is. If you have cash to burn. Random then cut will be common

    Shocked you don't recommend grab for punching somebody into the dirt every turn once you've taken root.

    Probably a dumb question, but where can I find the actual rules for Halflings if I were to start playing today? Games Workshop sells the models but the insert has, what seems to be, outdated rules.

    Should also add Pro on the Treeman.
    Winner winner, Chicken Dinner. (Halfling proverb)

      Ahh yes! And it's boosted now to 3+!

    The Hefty looks useful but lacks "Right Stuff". One Hefty, with "On The Ball" for one turn TTM attempts, does seem worthwhile however.

    • @BoneheadPodcast
      @BoneheadPodcast  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, making it a sort of Thrower ("Ball Caddy" really) seems like a good option!

    It's hard to decide whether to go with 0 trees or 1 :) it's hard to fit in those 8 re-rolls

    • @BoneheadPodcast
      @BoneheadPodcast  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hahaha, Marky - I like your style! Some sweet PA3+ Hefty plays happening??

    The only poor random strength choice for Treemen is Piledriver, and even then it can be used to unroot one that has Taken Root. The rest are worth the lower TV cost.
    Treemen with Break Tackle will dodge on 3+, not 2+.

    8 months down the line, how do Halflings look with the new Mercenary Players rule from Deathzone? Having a bench full of rerolls for eleven'flings leaves room for two star players and up to 3 mercs per game out of your copious petty cash. Or you can go wild and just say, "Nuffle! We pray to you!" and take half the dang chart. :D

    Surprised you went with multiple block over grab.
    Grab lets you bully players once you get rooted. Multiple block lets you take more two die blocks, but without block, it’s just asking Nuffle to put your tree on the ground.

      @BoneheadPodcast  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Joetaco - that's a great call! I guess I've always considered Grab as the skill to use to feed players to the next punch!!

    Why do you want to levelup the halflings and special flings? Don't you just want to have as low TV as before?
    I get it's fun with new players for the halflings but they will just bloat.
    With 2020 rules i save spp for block on halflings, get one kick, wrestle, dp. Block and break tackle for treeman... and that's about it.
