Having tried this bar from a friend and owning the Kabuki Kadillac bar this ends up being the Titan SSB v2 vs Elite FTS yoke bar situation. The kabuki is far better and polished but price wise its hard to beat this bar. If you have serious shoulder issues or want the best of the best I would lean towards the kabuki. For most people this bar is good enough though.
Good job on pointing out the mirror, I almost missed it and a great mirror like that shouldn't be missed lol keep up the good work👍 big love from the UK 🇬🇧
Thanks for covering bells of steel! Love their speciality stuff that i don't have to pay crazy amounts for, lets me just try out cool stuff without that big of an investment
I just got mine and benched with it. There is no stress in my shoulders or wrist on the wide grip and the inner grip gave me an amazing triceps pump. I'm not one to be a fanatic over the finishes or chips/scratches/ Paying 3 times as much for a similar bar doesn't make sense to me.
I'm with you! I train in my apartment so this only weighing 24lbs and I'm 67,its perfect for me. I'm going to by it!! This video convinced me!!! And your comment!!👍
I have the Kadillac bar and I do agree with you on the fighting the bar during curls and skullcrushers It wasn’t a huge deal on curls but if you wanted to do neutralish grip skillcrushers, dumbbells would just be more comfortable to do
I have one of these. Use it because I have a bum shoulder and for that it is great. The knurling isn't great however and I had to wrap the hand holds to get enough grip. Packaging is an issue as mine arrived with the pull down attachment bent but they gave me a discount for that. I don't feel like the neutral position grip is as effective as a standard bar for pec development but in my case I have no choice. I tried it for overhead press and hammer curls and it was a no go. It does take some time to get used to but if you have shoulder issues you should think about getting one. The price is great.
My entire gym is pretty much Bells of Steel stuff because they offer a great deal picking it up locally here in Indiana where they have a US showroom. I'm surprised that it wasn't packaged well because most of the other stuff is very well packaged.
Thanks for the video. Always look forward to your new videos each week. Your review of the bar was thorough and informative. I have the Titan swiss bar, which I like
Nice review! I enjoyed it even though I already have the alternatives. I agree these designs are fantastic for presses but I prefer the cambered Titan MG for rows and other isolation movements.
@@GlucksGym I bought it for chest press because i prefer neutral grip. For rowing i found my wrists keep fighting with the bar rocking back and forth so I stick with barbell.
I just received the Nemesis bar this week. I really love the way it works. Great for incline pressing and taking stress off the shoulders and wrists. However the build quality seems extremely cheap. The bar looks like a pull down attachment and it's as light as a feather. I'm now starting to think I need to sell it and go with the Kabuki Kadillac bar if it's a true 45 pounds with better build quality.
Got an Amazon non cambered multi grip bar on market place for 50. I have some shoulder pain that comes and goes and I find that it helps….. but the awkwardness of the imbalance almost offsets that. It’s almost like a light effect of a earthquake bar. In all it does help alleviate shoulder pain, but you have to go light. The heavier you go, the more your accessories get taxed and that ultimately leads to a bit of shoulder pain. At $50 I can’t complain, but just wanted to share my experience for my fellow shoulder pain family.
Between you and Brandon, I decided I needed this bar and just ordered one, thanks for the positive review! PS...I didn't notice the view in the mirror...sorry, thats a lie, I did, my bad lol
Brandon and I are not helping people save money 😢 lmk what you think of it. The view was hard to miss but Wynie is the one who pointed it out when I was editing haha

I have a question: it says cambered depth of 3.5 inches, but I assure that’s from the center of where the plates attach. What’s the actual camber from the middle handle? The reason I ask is because I am comparing this to a cambered Swiss bar, which has 2” camber from the center handle. I want to make sure I get at least that much depth extension with the BOS bar. Thanks!!!
Hi enjoyed your video on Arch Nemesis Bar. Mine just arrived a few days ago, looking for collar grp. Bells of steel seems to be out of stock for a few months. The Rogue that you are using would fit a 1.9Inches.
I returned the Nehemesis bar and received the Kabuki Cadillac bar this week. Upon 1st arrival, I was ecstatic at the superior build quality of the Cadillac bar. However after a few days of extended use, I do feel that the Cadillac bar is very overpriced. I am not crazy about the bolt-in design and the expensive shipping price of $570 total shipped. To anyone on the fence between these 2 bars, my best advice is to get the Bells of steel Nemesis bar. It is a much better value.
I appreciate the honesty. I know your were debating swapping so it's nice to see the updated thoughts and to see someone honest enough to come back and present both sides.
Depends on if you want that flat cambered for things like board press or how deep you want that camber. Their is also much heavier and doesn't go on a cable machine.
Archon MultiGrip Bar, not cambered but real nice. Chrome sleeves, normal olympic collars fit And knurled. I do not have a lat pull down so I disliked the middle hook.
So with it being that light, can you even drop a single 45lb plate on one side to begin with without it lifting the other empty side? I saw you guys loading together.
In my Rep rack (47' outside width) I can get a 45 on easily. I can do a 45 and a 25 as well and the 45+ 25 on one side won't tip it when it's in place but on the end of the bar away from the collars it will.
Surfing the bells of steel website and saw they offer pretty nice discount if you get 3 specialty bars (bc if 1 is good 3 must be better). Anyway.... Has anyone used their open trap bar or safety squat bar??? Could be an amazing deal if they function well and hold up.
That's a great bar and definitely high end, I just thought the prices were so far off it was a bit silly to compare them but yes it would be. I'm also wondering where that new Rep bar will fall in that ranking.
