How much room do you need to leave so that the dot and dabbed plasterboards are flush against the frame?

Do you drill into the brick work to screw the frame through?
Yes you do, pilot hole the frame then fix to the block work,

budd what fixing did you use ?
100mm screws into brown plugs then foamed between frame and block work , wooden wedges between frame and blocks then foamed the rest, thanks for watching 👍👍
