So you all should know BEFORE YOU BUY: I got mine a few months back, thankfully I mostly play fps-games like cod. I bought them for replaceable sticks after my normal ones started to drift. However, three weeks of heavily and sweaty gaming, the rubber-ish parts on the backside started to bubble and will probably peel off anytime soon… sadge. :/ Battery-Life on the other hand is ok when you switch between two Controller like I typically do. One is (ab)used while the other one loads…
The REAL reason you shouldn’t get the edge is because after a couple of months, your paddles will start to strip their casing & will no longer be as responsive if they continue to work at all
BEST THING IVE BOUGHT FOR MY PLAYSTATION I WAS GOING THROUGH CONTROLLERS LIKE CRAZY DUE TO STICK DRIFT.IVE HAD MY EDGENOVER A YEAR AND YET TO HAVE STICK DRIFT ONCE 💯💯💯💯
The only problem is the pricing. In a few months we have the choice to buy either a duelsence edge or a PS Portal for roughly the same. Thats not a good thing
Picked one up and never been happier with a purchase. Was hesitant because of the price, but it’s honestly worth it plus it’s made from Sony not after market company
i was about to pick up one but i've saw so many complaints with the back paddle getting loose, unresponsive and sometimes has delay, for only 3-4 months, and the rubber grip has bubble over the time and peeled off.
I play on monitor on a desktop so plugging a wire is not a problem for me. I have other pro controllers I use for COD Apex Fortnite Overwatch. I bought a dualsense edge to play other games like World War Z GTA online Hogwarts Legacy Resident Evil 4.
The battery life in my opinion is it’s biggest downfall it could have been promising which is probably why they provided a super long cable with it however they’re better controllers on the market that are like 50 bucks cheaper with full customisation based off of the standard dualsense edge like a Aim controller
got it. using for over a year now. Battery doesnt bother me, no stick drift, great feel in hand. My issues with it are the joystick units are sold out, and the rubber is coming off. replaceable though
I have one, battery is at a weak 4-5 hours at most, but I hardly ever use it. I like the regular duel sense controllers more. I actually collected one of each color, so I pick one at random. The pink, and purple controllers are my favorite colors. I feel like video game controllers are like shoes, the more pairs you have, you can swap them out and pick one for every day of the week and then your controller’s dexterity lasts much longer.
Had one I picked up for $150 on clearance. Returned when I didn’t feel it was life changing enough. Already had two Dual Sense controllers so it didn’t feel necessary to keep.
I don’t think the battery life is as bad as most people complain about it’s a reason the gave you the long ass charger .. and if your playing online w/ the charger locked in better connections
I tried this controller and hated it. I then tried the razer wolverine and liked it more, however the regular dual sense shape is more comfortable. If you're tech savvy you should purchase a kit from extreme rate that's what I did. It cost me like 20 bucks for trigger locks and the controller was a gift. The dual sense is extremely easy to disassemble compared to all dual shocks. Examples why this controller is not good include: It is heavy, the regular thumb sticks are comfortable, the trigger locks still have alot of travel and are not clicky, the back paddles are floppy, the grip makes the controller thicker and less comfortable. All of the reasons to get one for me are the reason to not get one. I don't use back paddles and play FPS games so I just need the trigger locks. I also have 4 controllers and never got stick drift.
Battery is amazing. I can stream a solid 6 hours of war zone and it comes with like a 30’ charging cable 😂high quality there is absolutely no bad reasoning behind the purchase of this product.
Battery isn't much of a problem when you could just charge it and play at the same time. Plus there's multiple charger accessories for ps5 chargers. So yeah. Not much of a problem here.
As a person who plays apex and Fortnite and other games that might require to leave your main fingers or thumbs off the buttons to reach another. I’m definitely getting one.
It's amazing and the cable brings me back to my old Xbox days, where I was the boss because I had a clear green Xbox controller with the longest cable than my friends so I was always the one more comfortable while we killed each other in Halo 2, I'm fine with wired, the controller itself it's comfy, almost pleasurable to hold, love the back buttons and the customization options seems endless, definitely worth it, if you've got the cash to spare of course, it's not a must, but it's definitely the deluxe experience.
Honestly, imma just continue playing claw on the stock one. It’s 60$ where i live and i’m still using the one from the package. I can buy 3 more when i get stick drift for the price of one edge🤷🏼♂️
Yes, I’ll still be buying even though the battery life is kind of short but it’s still a great controller the only reason I’m buying it because you can switch out the stick if you ever get stick drift that’s what got me sold

I bought them for replaceable sticks after my normal ones started to drift. However, three weeks of heavily and sweaty gaming, the rubber-ish parts on the backside started to bubble and will probably peel off anytime soon… sadge. :/
Battery-Life on the other hand is ok when you switch between two Controller like I typically do. One is (ab)used while the other one loads…
it works fine on pc as well only downside is you need a software called dsx
The REAL reason you shouldn’t get the edge is because after a couple of months, your paddles will start to strip their casing & will no longer be as responsive if they continue to work at all
BEST THING IVE BOUGHT FOR MY PLAYSTATION I WAS GOING THROUGH CONTROLLERS LIKE CRAZY DUE TO STICK DRIFT.IVE HAD MY EDGENOVER A YEAR AND YET TO HAVE STICK DRIFT ONCE 💯💯💯💯
how is the back paddles?, is there something wrong with it?, i saw so many people complaints.
The only problem is the pricing. In a few months we have the choice to buy either a duelsence edge or a PS Portal for roughly the same. Thats not a good thing
I definitely had to get one, Best Adaptable Controller for me to watch Hulu
Picked one up and never been happier with a purchase. Was hesitant because of the price, but it’s honestly worth it plus it’s made from Sony not after market company
i was about to pick up one but i've saw so many complaints with the back paddle getting loose, unresponsive and sometimes has delay, for only 3-4 months, and the rubber grip has bubble over the time and peeled off.
so how is your controller bro?
Overall ok controller but as someone who plays hybrid claw those 2 back paddles look amazing
I get mines tomorrow so excited
I play on monitor on a desktop so plugging a wire is not a problem for me. I have other pro controllers I use for COD Apex Fortnite Overwatch. I bought a dualsense edge to play other games like World War Z GTA online Hogwarts Legacy Resident Evil 4.
It has a healthy price tag, but it’s so worth it. It’s all I use when I play Destiny and Apex.
Replacement sticks cost $40-60, so replacing both sticks is the cost of a new controller. Check the price on AVAILABLE stock right now
The battery life in my opinion is it’s biggest downfall it could have been promising which is probably why they provided a super long cable with it however they’re better controllers on the market that are like 50 bucks cheaper with full customisation based off of the standard dualsense edge like a Aim controller
got it. using for over a year now.
Just ordered mine today!
I just picked up the controller and to me it’s worth it!! I play a lot on Call of duty multiplayer online
I always keep mine plugged in anyways for better response time!
I just bought yesterday and I haven’t unboxed it yet but I fs will and I’m exited
My edge was gifted, I turned down the brightness and turned down the vibration battery life is fine, it’s pree good controller 👍😎
Ready for this “make a custom controller”
I been testing both the edge and elite controller. I have to say I rather play wit the elite controller
I agree tbh I’ve been writing a comprehensive review comparison I actually recorded it today but my mic was off 😂 so trying again tomorrow
my fav controller for PC atm
Just bought mine, should be getting it in a day or two
As a person who plays apex and Fortnite and other games that might require to leave your main fingers or thumbs off the buttons to reach another. I’m definitely getting one.
Ima get one for Christmas
It is a great controller but it needs a shim under the paddles... like a 3M stick
There is one downside, the soft white grip on the controller becomes bubbly after a while
Honestly, imma just continue playing claw on the stock one. It’s 60$ where i live and i’m still using the one from the package. I can buy 3 more when i get stick drift for the price of one edge🤷🏼♂️
Instead of swappable joy sticks would have been better just build the controller with hall effect joystick.
Like the more functions you put into it the faster the drain is
Yes, I’ll still be buying even though the battery life is kind of short but it’s still a great controller the only reason I’m buying it because you can switch out the stick if you ever get stick drift that’s what got me sold
Dog battery isn’t a problem I leave my controller plugged in all the reducing latency and all that
What game were you playing in the beginning 🤔
I already got it, and I swear it was charging all night and ran out of battery in like 10 minutes, but still really good🫣🤪
Yeah... if you can get your hands on the stick modules...
