How To Upload Free Images To Cricut Design Space

- In this tutorial I will walk you through how to upload free images to Cricut Design Space. I will use images from Design Bundles and also from Google and explain the difference between a cut file and print and cut. If you have any questions please let me know in the comments.

Oh your a friend. 😂 cuz i lost her when she said design bundles. I clicked on upload images then there two saying “images”and “pattern fill” no where does it say design bundle 😅. Is that something we need to down load and skip this whole upload image. Cuz if thats the case she should’ve said from the beginning 😂. “You want free images go and down load this. But theres a catch have your debit card ready. 😂
I work with windows 10 and having so much trouble getting svg files even extract them still no svg files I love you video and you are the best one I watch please keep up the great work. Thanks for doing everything step by step so we can understand it GREAT JOB
Thanks Nancy I’m glad you enjoy the videos. That does sound frustrating not being able to get the SVGs you want. Try to unzip your file. I hope you can get it working!

Hello and a Big THANK YOU!!! What a great video. I went slow and stopped the video to make notes along the way. I have always had a hard time with the 'drag and drop' part. I think I need to make the screen smaller where I'm dragging the image to, because I can't see my files with the Upload Image screen on top of the files. ??? If you can make any since of what I'm trying to say, please help. Also how do you get your file to be thumb nails? It's hard being Old LOL🤣😂🤣
Glad you enjoyed the video Donna. You can definitely make your thumbnails bigger. The way you do that would depend on what type of computer you are using. You can also change settings on your computer to make text larger. I would suggest reaching out to a friend or family member to help you change the settings on your computer. All the best!

I’m glad you enjoy it! You can download images from the internet and upload them to any design program you use. Design Space is the program that allows me to cut out images on my Cricut machine.

How do you edit without Cricut Access?? I cant remove background or select the parts of the cartoon image, it prompts me to upgrade to Cricut Access
You can’t remove complete backgrounds without Cricut access but if the background is a solid colour or white you can remove it using the magic wand tool. Where did design bundle come from. I was following until you said that. Where is that on the upload u just told us to click on
Design Bundles is a website that offers many digital design files. They sell many of these files but they also offer a number of free designs. The free designs change often. So what is available one week for free may be different the following week. You have to download the design to your computer and then upload it to Design Space. I hope that helps. Happy crafting!

No you do not need the paid subscription to upload designs to Design Space.
I can't see a magic wand!
When uploading a file that is not an SVG the magic want will appear on the left side under Manual. There will be a picture of a wand with the word "select" below it. If you are uploading an SVG file you will not have the option to edit the file as it is already a cut image. So you will not see the magic wand.
