    One of your best videos to date, in my opinion. Every time I click on TH-cam and you have a new upload, a big smile is put on my face. I go and make a hot drink before sitting down to watch. As much as I love you and your content, I have to say, you are making my financial forecast look rather poor.

    Excellent vid Dom. If you want an idea for a vid. Can't find on TH-cam. Rear level sensor, were it attaches and how it works. My sensor is broken, replacement on route but can't figure where it attaches, bracket appears to be gone.

  • @stevesloan6775
    @stevesloan6775 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Did it come with instructions?
    I would of thought, you'd have to dismantle the new shifter to a curtain extent, to fit it.
    All that cutting doesn't ring true to a properly designed item, and that shifter looks proper.
    :)

    • @TheParrottBros
      @TheParrottBros  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Very little in the way of fitting but its reasonably straight forward. the hardest part is setting up the shifter once fitted in the car

    Found myself admiring Aaron's scissor lift, Dom! I assume that shifter isn't a sequential but more of a precision short shifter? Great video, as always, mate. :-)

    • @TheParrottBros
      @TheParrottBros  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That’s exactly it, it elevates the shifter position whilst shortening the movement needed between gears when changing both front to back and left to right.
      I am blessed having Aaron and his workshop for sure. He is a very knowledgable guy and a 1.8t encyclopaedia haha. You will see his car on the channel soon enough 😎

    Hiya, got a slightly random problem. So my dash pod was reading 25 miles left last night, I get into my car this morning. (TT225) and when I turn the ignition on my dash pod reads 145 miles left and my gauge is also much higher than it was last night. Cars been locked and hasn’t moved....

    • @TheParrottBros
      @TheParrottBros  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Someone has snuck in and given you half a tank of fuel 😂. That’s odd usually the miles to empty doesn’t change when the needle gauge goes awol. I would just top it up as normal
      And see what it does. If that makes no change your sender gauge could be knackered

    • @michaelfarley2710
      @michaelfarley2710 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    • @TheParrottBros
      @TheParrottBros  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@michaelfarley2710 it’s not a fun job 😂. Rear seat bench, cover, open tank then get to. It’s probably nothing. Mine finds fuel sometimes. After a few miles it sorts it’s self

    • @TheParrottBros
      @TheParrottBros  ปีที่แล้ว

      I would not run both at the same time, as they both do the same job, if you had both you literally would not have to move the shift tour at all haha, by all means try it but I think it will reduce the throat too much that you will not be able to get gears 😅
