    Enfig makes an adapter for Bose stereos. While it is rather expensive ~$100USD, it is plug and play, gets rid of the "pop" sound upon start up, and they make can bus to radio adapters for near any headunit you would ever put in your TT.

    Great Video! Got a 180 a few months ago, but the car was so immaculate (everything works on it), Nagarro Blue like his, I chipped the the tuning and lowered the springs, Bilsteins all around and 4 new P4's. I'm loving this car. The small thing after painting the calipers red, was 4 Audi tire valve (Audi rings) covers in blue to match the paint. looks choice.

    • @TheParrottBros
      @TheParrottBros  4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Nice video mate! The honeycomb diffusors were part of the S-Line exterior package, which could be ordered optionally when the TT 3.2 was introduced. The 3.2 models and later also the Quattro Sport had all those parts fitted by default.
    Alternatively, they could be ordered seperately from Audi either in satinblack (S-Line, 3.2) or painted in phantomblack (QS).
    Cheers!

    A popular stealth option on the forums for the airbox is what they call the "WakBox" - involves drilling some holes in the bottom of the OEM airbox to increase flow.
    Other ideas: as with the front grilles, perhaps a regurb of the wheel arch liners?
    Also, some nice stainless steel dress-up kits for the engine bay to replace all the broken fixings.

    Alot of the TT have a apple connector in the glove box. You can get a bluetooth receiver that plugs direct to the apple connector and it sends your music direct to the stereo not over radio waves so no crappy interference.

    Very helpful videos 👍🏽 I have a 225 in nogaro blue as well, and I get quite a bit of interior plastic trim rattle from around the boot area. It could also be the rear seats but I need to investigate properly. Wondering if you had any tips to resolve this please?

    • @TheParrottBros
      @TheParrottBros  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you, aww no way that’s cool!! Yeah sure best thing I would do is check spare wheel and tools are tight. Once ruled that out give everything a pull and see if anything is loose as often when people remove trim they break the clips thus giving mite chance of rattle. Also check the rear parcel shelf as very common tabs break. Failing all of the above remove them one by one

Make sure 4wd system works if Quattro, rocker gaskets leak. Cheap and easy fix, loads of possible boost leaks. Clutch is expensive if 4wd so check that yoo

    Hello sir - new to the channel here.
    Im looking to buy a TT but im from denmark so the prices are astronomical compared to UK. Would you say a 225 is worth 40% the price over the 180? btw fun fact: the cheapest TT 180 in denmark is around 6000 pounds

    • @TheParrottBros
      @TheParrottBros  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Wow that’s mad! I guess it’s priced on supply and demand. Less of them means cost more. In England they are everywhere. It all depends what you want it for. The 180 is great, very nippy as smaller turbo so less lag, if your not looking to change loads and spend thousands in tuning the 180 is fine. Will still go fast enough to get you a speeding ticket.
      If your a speed nut then get the 225 as much more tuning potential.

      You can purchase a cup holder in the UK but they change hands for in excess of 90-100£. That’s why I made a budget option for those who can’t afford / don’t want an expensive one. ( I believe they were a optional extra)
      Yeahs that sounds like a gem of a car, I would love to have a Cali car with low miles 😍

      The Parrott Bro’s I don’t know if you’ve come across it, but on my TT the head lights have got a bit of condensation inside the lens, I’ve tried taking the bulb caps off so the water can evaporate but it’s been in there so long it’s clouded the inside of the lens. Is there anything you would recommend?

    • @TheParrottBros
      @TheParrottBros  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Martyn Hayes you can take the heat lights out and split them and re seal, but that’s Quite a big job, can take bulb out and use a hair dryer to clear. Then drill a small hole in bottom of the lights to allow moisture to escape I’ve heard that works too. It’s not an issue I’ve had to deal with for a long time to be fair.

      Nick temp fit it, just add it into the vac system in the bay then turn the car on. Should pull about -20psi. Or just using a long bit of vac hose plumb it in and run pipe out of bonnet and through window and go for a drive see what it reads
