I use a UI24 for our Church. I just bought a UI16 for my band. It will be here today!!! excited to get away from the hardwire board and snake. This wireless system is awesome.
Very cool. maybe get yourself a cheap wifi router to boost the signal for your iPad controller. the wifi signal can get dicey if there are many people with their wifi on in the venue. hide the network and use that function. saved my life. A TP-Link 300Mbps Wireless N Router would do the trick. like $30 , just make sure it has the blue ethernet input at the back
Any one get a little red X on one of your channels? If so how do we get rid of it and make the channel function? All does anyone experience a lot of hissing on the mic channels when turning up the gain to hear the mic?
Hi, nice video, thanks. Does this digital mixer will need an app connected to play if everyday I switch the unit on/off for the same setting and same input and output connected. Suppose for a fixed installation for prayer. Will the mixer play from last setup without app? Thanks
I haven't tried that yet. Will do in next setup. But if you have connectivity problems , try the firmware update. . . Suppose to fix allot of that . . . But i will say . . The desk has its quirks. . . You need to spend time with it. . . But fir the price its worth it.
You can use an adapter from RCA to xlr or 1/4" as the fader and mixer section for the RCA input is the same as all other input channels. It's a paired channel, so you could use this channel for a stereo instrument setup, or drums etc.
I’m Contemplating getting one but I’m not a tech kind of guy. It’s a means to an end. I’d been looking at the RCF. I see some folks are complaining about connectivity. I can’t fail at a gig or one I’m doing to help a friend. The RCF has a dual band router that I understand works well. I saw a quick video about connecting an external WiFi and for a low tech person like myself it seemed off putting and also plugging in a small laptop just in case didn’t look simple either. I want to keep from carrying all the cables etc. and simplify but not sure this is the answer? My simple but aging passive system has never been a problem but it’s heavy to cart around. Any thoughts or advice to a prospective buyer? Thanks. 🙂
You have to do what works for you . . I don't know the RCF . . I'v used this desk for 10 months no with no problems . . but i've heard others complain about connectivity . All i know is that the desk keeps on working when you lose connectivity . When my ipad dies on me. the mix still go's so you wont get stuck when you lose connectivity .
It has an internal server. . . You can connect with your tablet / phone or laptop . no internet required. . You can also connect directly with Ethernet . The interface run off a internet browser off the desk server. . . Your net connecting to the internet . just to the desk . Hope that helps. . .
Hi great video! On the AUX SENDS menu in this video, you can see channel 5 and 6 but they're not highlight as the other channels and on the hardware there are only 4 aux. How do I use the AUX 5 and 6? Thanks
If a double click doesn't work, just hold down on the channel name. A small menu should pop up and "Rename" will be one of the options. It's different on certain devices! Holding down works on the iPad
@@ChristiaanRock Mixers are very old tech, useless made by old minds. In software we can do what we want. Blend, many new thinkers are using this. Use colors instead of groups ! Easy to see !
A sound comes in, who cares from where ! Edit it and blend it into the mix. Get it a spot in the stereo field. Bus color it or just output to where ever you are going to ! They never learned !

as far as I understand, you can sign it to an aux channel and use it as an additional aux.

For that functionality, you need to look at the u25. the u16 is very limited in that sense.

i see only 12 input channel so why it says 16 input mixer? is there any inputs at the back ?

Hay man as far as i understand that is the Aux for when you connect to a computer . As an interface.
You can also go to the settings and install that your 2 head phone outputs become 2 more aux.

only main mix. you have to get the ui24 , which can connect to a DAW and multi-track record. as well as multi-track playback. that's cool

double click on the the track name on the bottom (his are named AC Guitar, Lead Vocal, etc)

Try blend ? Red Green Blue colors for groups ? Try being new ?

remember you can combine FX, this makes for satisfying combinations. Yes, it does not support Bluetooth. the new update should have it.
Works good but the effects are crap
I never use efx on any mixer. They are usually crap on most mixers, esp. Analog mixers. This is a analog mixer that has a digital connectivity.
