Testosterone is an important hormone. It requires good amounts of both fats and protein in the diet. It is very important that these are animal based as plant based "nutrients" are not easily/properly digested by the human anatomy and lead to falling levels.

I've noticed that there seems to be a sort of monthly cycle for me, a stable sex drive for 2 weeks, no or little sex drive for one week or so (but I'm very calm and content), and then very high sex drive at the end of the month. I've monitored my diet and nothing changes, so it must just be a natural hormonal thing.
I will say though, that my sex drive became more balanced when I started to incorporate more Iron into my diet. I'm vegetarian, so I must have been low. Also drinking the right amount of water daily is a game changer for wellbeing.

Definitely always get checked out by a professional a good thing for you to take for the Male sex drive is zinc it's actually made from oyster shells ground down to a powder that's why some people will eat lots of oysters it's not actually the oysters that are doing it for them but the zinc that they have absorbed from the shell you can find zinc in the vitamin section of your grocery store or drugstore but still always get checked out by a pofesonel when it comes to your health and the care of your body and mind

Eating oysters are the best way to increase zinc. Never heard about the shells before ?

Not in the studio for this video. The sound is wonderful. I can hear every word today. Yes, it’s me again. 😅
And I particularly loved the topic. I too had a similar issue. My doctor noted low testosterone and gave me a remedy. Injections, but I’m fine now. The testosterone test is a good recommendation and I might say, do that first. By doctor visit of course.

I'm thankful for a lower labido. From age twelve to thirty I was a walking hard on ready for anything. To the point that I disrupted my normal life. Like ditching class to get some, dropping out of college cuz I was too busy getting some. It made a long-term relationship difficult. Cheating was always on the mind like some kind of machine. Definitely prefer now. Doing it until you're shooting blanks is exhausting.

Check your blood levels such as testosterone or check for Vitamin deficiencies like vitamin D etc... check the physical aspects and then the psychological aspects as well

Thank you so much for this segment, and so glad you took this one on from "Francis ", as I don't think it's discussed nearly enough about how much libido changes and shifts and what all the contributing factors are. As someone who's been concerned about if there's something wrong with me as my own declined over a short time, I can say there are some of us, especially as we age, that are more effects by things others might not be. Eg, for me depression anxiety stress and relational struggles all greatly decrease my libido, even when my health is otherwise good. Especially relationship issues with partners, as I'm so "demi" (had to learn that the long painful way) that tension between me and a partner is a turn off, whereas a lot of them experience it as an increase in libido. For someone with sexual trauma, that really can also be a factor that you might not think is effecting your drive. I've been so low for an extended time that I thought I was fully Ace, and I'm some company I just go ahead and claim that, to get folks off my back with questions that feel like shame if I'm not on the same level as them, plus it's nice to get rid of unwanted advances sometimes. 😅
Seriously tho, the guys had great thoughts and advice. Good luck," Francis", and do follow up if you find things that help.

Difficult area tackled well encouragement as ever. Guess the biggie is communication. The closeted asexual etc. My guess is there are more folk with medical factors. Good example is thyroid disease. It connects to this area and goes on undetected for yonks until the more obvious signs emerge a decade plus even. Answer - GP. / Endocrinologist etc. Demand your answers chaps.

People always told me I was well known for my "long conversations". I am virtually asexual. I like intimate relationships but not actual sex. But maybe not because I do like porn. I liked guys when I was younger but they would always suggest penetrative x and that was never me, top or bottom. Maybe I was a side.

I wonder if you are having any other symptoms besides lack of sexual desire. Has your mood lowered, have you had more difficulties with stress in your life, do you still get aroused at home or with morning wood etc. Are you still wanking?
It’s definitely something you could get checked with your GP.
Sometimes in times of stress or depression your libido can disappear. Sometimes it can be just that priorities change. Maybe you are looking for something deeper and random sex is not something you want right now.
Are you having intimacy in any way with other people? Hugs with friends and contact with family, or has all that disappeared as well. These can be clues to what’s at the root of things happening right now in your life.

Another thought - since Covid and depending where you live, the political climate is stressful, hateful and worrisome. There appears to be such divide on views with very little common ground for a peaceful outcome. I personally feel very depressed after watching or reading the news. Depression does affect the libido.
It might be smart to consult with a medical doctor to see if there is something physical happening and if it is treatable or get counselling from a LGBTQ friendly therapist to discuss your concerns.
FYI - There are studies, on the internet , that explore the link between COVID-19 and low libido.

Instead of Francis, you should have called the first guy Homo Erectus! Seriously, whenever your body changes dramatically, the first thing you should do is see a doctor. Also, it could be a symptom of something else.
