Sheikh Khalid Yasin Bio:
Shaykh Khalid Yasin, a former Christian, is the Executive Director of the Islamic Teaching Institute (ITI); a premier organisation dedicated to the work of Dawah. He has studied the Arabic language in Madina, Saudi Arabia and Cairo, Egypt and has had many mentors and teachers who tutored him in Fiqh us-Sunnah, Fiqh us-Seerah, Islamic History and the memorisation and recitation of the Holy Qur'an. In the past ten years, the ITI has delivered more than 5000 persons to Islam and an additional 1,476 since the September 11 Attacks. Shaykh Khalid Yasin delivered a lecture in Saudi Arabia in 1994 titled "The Purpose of Life", which resulted in 43 persons accepting Islam on that very night. Khalid Yasin constantly tours the world delivering lectures aimed at removing distortions about Islam and Muslims, conducting Dawah Training Courses, and providing new Muslims with a specially designed Islamic Training Program. Khalid Yasin is committed to raising the consciousness of the Muslims to fulfil the responsibility of Dawah and the establishment of Islamic revival, Insha'Allah.

I have to agree with the one commentor below, garment/textile manufacturing out of more Asiatic muslim countries like Malaysia/Indonesia/Bangladesh etc is pretty large sector, what does not often get talked about though is that they are very Low wage jobs with in many cases a lot of job-site hazards some of which are vergingly if not entirely illegal and unsafe... all for the equivalent of 1-2$ US.... it may be manufacturing economy , but not a profitable or even really sustainable one... it breeds a kinda dependence and subservience. should the importers pull out you are left with clothing orders you cant ship and thus a need to close factories etc....

Even if you educate a person about McDonalds and their unhealthy and rather disgusting food, they'd still eat it, just as if you educated a non-Muslim (or Muslim) about Islam and they choose not to follow it. When people are locked into a certain thing, it's very difficult, even impossible for them to give it up.
Did you ever see that AWFUL McDonald's commercial for their salads where the black lady does a rap/spoken word about how "Green is the new black"? I was so embarrassed for her... I hope her mother slapped her for that...

McDonald's is very unhealthy. Unhealthy fats, unhealthy burgers full of hormones that weakness your body and decreases muscle mass and increases man made estrogen in your body, it makes you fat and have low levels of concentration.

Let me see... I have a shemagh, that's Muslim made. I have an Arabic Quran, that's Muslim made. Some of my furniture belongs to my grandfather and those are Muslim made. The books I study in are in Arabic. My shoes, but they're Turkish so let's cross them out. My house is Muslim made. Prayer rugs. Some more furniture. Plates. Spoons and knives. My underwears.
