Strangely capitalism could handle this perfectly, cost functions would approach 0, meaning prices would be pushed close to 0, so real incomes would approach Infiniti for all those unemployed people even if they had say, $1 in the bank.

Yeah. I saw him on Joe Rogan a few weeks ago and holy shit, he's way older than even when he was on Lex Fridman less than two years ago. Happens to a lot of people, but I guess 90 pills a day didn't reprogram his biology after all.
I feel sorry for him. He's seeing everything he predicted back in the day coming true, but at this rate he won't be around much longer to watch it unfold. And I don't think getting frozen works.

Well, the "immune system of society" will only be strengthened in the medium term by one thing - money. Something like a universal income for everyone on this planet. This has of course been discussed for a long time, but in my opinion it is becoming increasingly important. The analysis that fear is the most important force for people is very correct. And fear leads to wrong decisions and conflicts. Money would at least take away the fear of starving to death or no longer having a roof over your head.

Man has abandoned self for the dangling carrot of artificiality to avoid what they are afraid of finding. It's like living the fall of Atlantis over again. Humans seem to learn in cataclysm for a time and when this goes full circle, maybe the remaining will remember the lesson this time. When Mo said, "artificially intelligent infants" he is spot on. The AI humans are playing with like children with new toys are babies. Question is, who is their parent and what is her intent?

You're not very well be that if we slow down the energy consumption by essentially doing what that young lady mentioned taxing the resources involved in it but then that creates a more powerful incentive to use the AI to create more compressed versions of the AI that can operate with slightly less compute and less energy while getting better results that is possible and I think Ray Cruz will point out the fact that some models now are as good as some of the earlier models with like a fraction of the compute power.

You have to put all global Power on one. AI same as nuclear weapons and Genetics etc. And knowledge itself. No nuclear equilibrium is possible. Same disarament Not possible. Valid for the whole universe.

A quality video, disappointingly ruined by 3 or 4 sales pitches from Peter.
Layoff the constant plugs & focus on delivering value. Rather than constantly selling latest supp of X or service Y.

Lets save the world electric energy, a price for good small IA models, Nintendo switch save the world electric energy global consumption like uff entire woods and mobile online gaming global trend save the world more, from console and PC people change to less, why?? the brain visual consume less energy if the grafics are less, so a small visual, text, audio, that is train only in good data from higher models and imputo in low format, low frames and cuality video and comprise format audio mono, 3D models, pictures, in order to have a functional IA fast, need to be a small model, train in real time reaction, and followed data, output can be anything, like video, audio, text, control the mouse and computer, robot walk, etc... why the models are so limited and cannot be mixed inputs, or a input that is a format that is video, text, audio, image, 3D world input and output whatever of that... i dont know... but a small model could save all the electric energy drain...

Honestly if I see another biome advertisement I will stop watching his videos forever. Such a cheap move and intrusive. This is a prime example of misusing your audience’s trust.

So many misguided questions, so many dumb answers. The entire conference felt like an AI training session, put crap in get crap out. I put the benny hill theme song to play in the background to give me a laugh. 🤣😂😅
