@@Tek_Nik_Hatchi Ever heard of this person named Elon? It wouldn't cost that much to create the energy or frankly the compute necessary. You underestimate AI and robotics and the advancements that have happened. And it's good Elon is spearheading this because he's the only one who can scale manufacturing for any of this any time soon unless someone else comes onto the scene.
I had Claude 3.5 make me an app in python for both mobile and pc for a TTRPG system I design. It has items, materials, prices, enemy stat blocks, and even encounter generators and tracking. It took me 4-5 hours going back and forth with Claude to make it based on my specifications, and I didn't even direct it in any way with my programing knowledge and experience. It would have taken me at least 1 month to make it on my own with all the little details it has. I will even include a character sheet at some point after I iron out a few more gameplay mechanics. The point of this is that I am no longer needed as a python developer.
That's pretty cool. Now imagine if you use your programming experience /knowledge to improve it. The average person would have no idea how to even go about making a similar application.
I have done something similar with Claude, and can confirm your experience. It is amazing. Bye bye programmer jobs. Hello employers who expect an INSANE amount of output, for less salary, because competition for jobs will drive down pay. Yay!
Of all possible reasons, getting excited about AI because it will drive business profitability is deeply weird and disturbing. We're building AI to free people to do things they find fulfilling. This might come as a shock as a CEO because you get lied to on a second by second basis by the people who have no choice but to please you, but most people don't like having a job, they just like being busy and having a positive impact on the world. The future we're heading toward is one where automation handles tedious work so we don't have to, not one where we work the same amount of time and just produce more. Your mind is not in the right place, and if that doesn't make you introspective, read it again until it does.
Uh it has nothing to do with the desire to keep busy. As that is what most jobs are anyway. Just busy work. And few could care less about having a positive impact. As it is the fear of an economic death. That keeps people beating their feet to eat. Right now in the world. The US is 4% of worlds population. Yet consumes 20% of worlds energy. You literally can not have the rest of the world living as we live. Without fighting over resources.
Your post shows you lack even a basic understanding of economics. Saying that AI will improve profitability and help automate the economy means that, if successful, it will do precisely what you mentioned: free more people up to do what they actually want. You’re conflating “improving profitability” with “spending more time working,” when the exact opposite is true in this case.
@@therainman7777 "Improved profitability and automating parts of the economy will automatically give us our lives back" - You just described the information age, a few decades during which exactly none of us got our lives back. The people in power drove that prosperity into skyrocketing company equity instead - rather than letting people live their lives, we moved the economic goalposts. People must now know how to use those tools, and apply them to be much more productive, to create more wealth for their employer. Instead of saying, "you only need to produce 100 product to live your life", the wealthy class said, "now you can produce 200 product in the same amount of time, so you must produce 200 product, and then you can live your life" and then that extra wealth created the billion and now trillion dollar companies that are worth more than many nations today. In fact, that discrepancy between wealth for the rest of us and wealth created for the equity holding class can be visualized with real inflation - the price change on hard assets like homes, and gold, which conveniently are both up 300-500% in dollar terms since 2000, while inflation is described as "only 3% per year" for us normal folk. Yeah right. Would wager I understand economics better than you. And by a lot, it would seem.
I am Agreeing mostly. Busy. As you suggested I will have to read again. The “tone is good” from my limited perspective. Thank you for sharing a message of hope. Understood that there is an * Take care Please continue. Jeremy
No we can't. Take all the wealth of every billionaire & divide by the global population. Total wealth in the world still needs to at least 5x to give everyone an American plumber's avg income/quality of life. We are still too poor as a globe to fully end poverty, in the sense of giving everyone a developed-country QoL.
if you're waiting for everyone to live like kings due to the AI shift, you're gonna be waiting a very loooonnnng time. the material standard of living peaked in 98 and it's been going down ever since then, and will just continue to see that even more.
But what happens when entry level jobs are replaced and even some jobs that required college degrees? A universal basic income will be needed at some point, but the question is how long will the government allow people to suffer in extreme poverty and homelessness before they make the switch. Will the stock market crash first? What about the economy? This creates issues as well though. The first is, how much money do you make the UBI? Too little will result in people feeling trapped in a world where they can’t grow to make more (which could have backlash), but too much could result in people leaving jobs to get on UBI. The trajectory would imply that at some point 95% or more jobs would be automated. However, given the current issues of control and power in the government I wouldn’t be surprised if this universal income would be used against the people to keep them under their ruling thumb. This means while we may have more “free time”, we may not have as much “free” time. Our current government will make more laws and regulations and enforce them to a higher degree than ever before. Not to mention Cyber attacks are still a very real threat. What about EMP’s from other countries? Being set back to the Stone Age after most working class hasn’t worked a day in their lives might be problematic to our survival in the long run. Slippery slope. But yes, I know a utopia is still possible and that’s what I’m hoping for.
Think about what you need to live. Food: Robots to tend a garden and livestock on a personal farm. Energy: Solar, wind. Stuff: 3d printing. When you look at it this way. Your need for money goes down considerably.
@@thatsjohnnyt6480 This is why open source is so very important. It will keep cost down and make it more difficult for any one company or person to hold a monopoly. Keep an eye out for cheaters like open AI that is not really that open.
@thatsjohnnyt6480 I think it is really hard for us to undestand what post-labor economics look like just like it was impossible for people in the 1940s and 1950s to imagine what the digital age of knowledge work and the internet would look like.
These AI visionaries ALWAYS underestimate the energy needed to run AI. There is no free lunch. Human civilization is a heat engine that produces higher levels of entropy as it operates/expands. In case you haven't noticed, we live on a finite planet. AI will only accelerate the use of available energy [already 3% of US power] resources. AI will not pay for itself through efficiency gains - there is no free lunch [2nd law of thermodynamics]. And renewables [solar, hydro, wind, geo] are not "renewable" if they need fossil fuels to manufacture [glass, steel, concreet, etc.]. Do the math.
There will be different kinds of jobs, yes. But no matter what, there's not going to be a need for the current amount of jobs. The number of humans we have now just won't be necessary.
Wisdom is beautiful concept but the fact that for thousand years we were not capable to realize it in large scale shows evidently that we have failed till now untill we know why .
Emad's great. He's gonna continue to do great work. Looks like he drinks coffee, too. You can tell by the shine. 👍 Good luck in your future endeavors, Emad. Looking forward to your contributions to clean AI.
This is incredibly dangerous. I can’t understand why this isn’t the sole focus of attention. A smarter, stronger robot in the same room as us is like sharing the space with a lion or a crocodile, but worse. Why are these people not worried about this?
Because they have been given over to a reprobate mind as written in the Word. This reprobate mind is a devourer of generations as known by its end results such as war or better known in its raw terms 'destruction'. Why? Because such have rejected the Truth in return for the Lie who seeks to convince man that he is as a god, and that he needs no other higher being, for man itself he says is the higher being. However the Lie himself knows that such isn't true, but if he can get them to believe in this Lie then he can steal their birthright right from under them. Thus what you witness in this video is just that, the man being interviewed has been clearly coerced into propagating further robbery of man's birth right to the point where it has been transfered over to a machine, and so man who is the creditor to the Lie is attemptably subtracted from the equation, where now the Lie reigns supreme. However breathe easy for it is not so, as The Most High who we know as King Jesus will come to set His domain above such an abomination for it is only He who reigns supreme, and thus it will be known as in illusion whose sediments flow as liquid molten in the lake of fire and brimstone. So in all this it is key that you give glory unto the rightful source of who is The Creator, King Jesus, and not be fooled into thinking man supercedes His authority by exclaiming that 'man is god'
If you haven't already, you should watch the Ted talks on AI with Nick Bostrom and Sam Harris. They are from 2015 and 2016, if I remember correctly, but they're still very relevant and very concise.
Fantastic video🔥🔥! I have incurred so much losses trading on my own....I trade well on demo but I think the real market is manipulated.... Can anyone help me out or at least tell me what I'm doing wrong??
- I'll throw a party the day advertising is gone and all we need is public service announcements for things that truly matter. - Sure everyone can be a business owner, but that begs the question, do we need or want billions of businesses all trying to outcompete one another?
This is the core problem - empowering everyone is depowering everyone. At the end, AI will compete in conglomerates with each other. The idea that anyone can take an AI and build a business - not going to happen.
Exactly empowering everyone mainly benefits the people at the top of power structures. We all just end up working harder and faster, for no additional benefit.
I really enjoy your conversations with Emad. He's so smart but doesn't feel compelled to talk over you just because his mind may be racing ahead of a question.
The intelligentsia has to remember that AI will replace pundits before plumbers. Further, “learn to code” doesn’t work when coders are being replaced faster than truck drivers.
I'm not a coder but I have saved myself $thousands in the last 12 months by using ChatGPT to modify JavaScript, php and regex in my Web sites that I would previously had to hire a coder to do. ChatGPT can teach me to code - it explains all the code it generates, but there's not really much point in me learning to code, because ChatGPT will always be better and faster than me. What I am learning though, is how to prompt ChatGPT more efficiently and what I can use it for. But it will be a long time before AI replaces my plumber 😂
And how many plumbers, builders roofers and trades people in general can our communities sustain. In NZ we have have had a shortage of trades people for many years. Now that we are deep in a recession and what appears to be a deflationary environment we have more tradespeople than there is work avaliable. Just food for thought!
@@CryptoRayGun Yep. Also, If I lose my programming job I ain't gonna be able to afford a plumber, I'll be unemployed and probably have time to fix my own shit (literally), and if I can't I'll call my handy programmer buddy who is also now unemployed. Every expense will have to be thought about very very carefully until I am able to re-skill (and even then - what will my new salary be as a schoolteacher or junior nurse?). This scenario of the middle class being destroyed in a span of 10 years will for sure hurt everyone, without government intervention it will cause an economic depression and completely twisted economy if a few thousand people holding all the wealth of society.
Remember one thing, Energy shortage. AI, robots and automated assembly line all need great amount of energy. This next technology evolution is not for everyone, only those can afford the huge energy infrastructure can move on.
The BIG LIE will be that we need MORE ELECTRICITY. This simply isn't true, but it will be in the hezdlines, the military run newspapers and TV and idiots will believe it. Watch. In America, people are so far behind, they'll support anything that their personal political side offers up aa a "solution." It won't be necessary, but they will be told it is. And instead of asking questions and demanding proof they'll believe it. Only a particular path requires all that dirty electricity grid. A dark one.

Have been watching a few Impact of AI videos and this has been a real eye opener giving me a lot to think about and will definitely be checking out Emad’s paper and revisiting this again. Thank you Peter and Emad for sharing your views 🙏
I remember Peter saying will be illegal for doctors to work without IA and make sense but now is why go to a doctor if I have a IA free doctor that's is really good, and free IA logic tools that have a vision soon... but the multimodal IA models are way better because they have more context, more ability, logic, loop and you can solve anything, its super crazy, next is a anything model input output that can control any robot, a car, robot humanoid robots, software evolution self evolution is crazy.
Its the centaur effect. A doctor with an AI doctor is going to do a much better job than a non doctor with an AI doctor. Just like artist can make much better AI pictures than non-artists
@ronschaefermd wrong. It's an illusion. People are too easily impressed and cowed by what is shiny and new. The most beautiful art was createc by grinding up minerals and using what the earth provided naturally. Certain shades of blue come to mind. From nature. Not digital imagery. God save us from limited thinking. 🙏
I think in the future people will no longer go to college to become doctor. There will be free medicine for everyone... at least in Europe and China, it will make old people caring more easy and then people will worry less about whay they will do in retirement age.
@@ronschaefermdagreed. AI is going to be a game changer for medicine, especially General Practice. Doctors are not infallible, in fact a lot of older GPs are pretty hopeless. We will still need doctors, but when they are using a good domain specific AI their efficiency and accuracy of diagnosis will improve massively. And the AI will just keep getting better and better. The patients whose treatment is complex because of multiple comorbidities who will benefit the most.
we're literally going to become star trek and explore the galaxy, we're very close to solving and automating basic survival needs energy, food, water, shelter, 3d printed products... ai will make all that stuff free
No. But they'll tell you that and you'll believe it. THAT is only for the elite, see "Elysium." Now, of course that doesn't mean that the rest of us won't get there, but not on this Digital ID/Vaccine Passport globalist trajectory. These bonds must be thrown off for true evolution to occur through unity. Not tyranny which is the current plan.
This is exactly right. AI is like a vampire sitting back at his mansion drinking blood out of a tap. That tap is fed by a billion tube tentacles that reach out across the world, the other ends stabbed into our human necks, sucking out our life giving blood.
Sorry for so many comments, listening and working. Emad, the concept, "which side is the AI on' is something *I really, really* stuggle with. When i ask it yo do something or regenerate something, i have to work past my initial, "i shouldny bother it" or "what if it makes it upset?" Which is Insane on my part! Claude is on my side, as is 4.o, Gemini, DALL E, all of em. This is going to be an absolute breakthrough. Now, dont be mean to your model, but a busy model is a happy model 🙃
"Don't think of it as the expert, but the graduate." BOOM, Emad *nails* it. Two years ago, to write a good technical paper, it took 2-3 long days. Research, reading, writing, fixing, editing, consistency, all that. One year ago I was writing 2-3 papers a day. 14 hour days, a little screaming, bottles of caffeine. Today? Well, still 14 hour days and caffeine. But 12-14 papers a day (in a subject I have twenty years of experience in, mind you). Higher quality. Won't win a novel prize, but if I halved my output and doubled my creativity, there absolutely could be one or two patentable ideas per day. As a centaur, there is no comparison. No single human on their own could produce what I am producing, and to be blunt, I'm only *slightly*, ever so slightly above average. Not by much at all. The next 18 months is going to torch my brain.

@@jcpflier6703I mean I enjoyed the talk and all, but Emad did crash and burn in pretty spectacular fashion in running his own company. So I take his predictions and prescriptions with a bit of a grain of salt.
It's not about time, because businesses absorb the extra productivity. The vast majority of people have seen no change in the time they work for over the last 7+ decades despite MASSIVE gains in productivity driven by technology. The opposite has happened- people are working longer, making less, paying more for the things they truly need (energy, food and shelter).
Dear Peter, thanx for your effort in putting together this conversation. But can I suggest that you allow your guests to finish answering a question or sharing a thought before you interject with another question. Oftentimes, this particular guest was not quite done answering a question or sharing a thought before you interjected, and he never concludes on that thought. I hope you don't interpret this as a negative criticism. Once again, thank you for your great efforts. God bless.
26:52 Peter it's not free...we're the product. My company pays roughly $25/mth per seat for Gemini enterprise license (granted the cost is a fraction compared to traditional labor) but as far as the consumer models go, we are definitely the product at this stage.
Amazing knowledge and learning for us. Emad seeks AI for every person which is very inclusive. Peter seeks more time and longer life which is the desire for perhaps the top 5% of our economic casteist society. Thats relevant for elite. Besides the different objectives great to hear geniuses.
We are shifting from mass market centralized control to the masses into a mass custom where everyone becomes a silo with rhythms and or rhythms across communities and across groups.
The unused electric generation capacity in the u.s. is staggering. I worked with FERC and was amazed the amount of hydro electric power plants sitting idle. Coal and NG power plants in mothballs, and bogged down nuclear plants.
Regardless of whether you like Elon or not, you would be very foolish to bet against him at this point. I don't like him personally. The positioning of his enterprises are perfect to make Tesla the largest company in history by 2030. One of his other businesses will probably be the next largest company by 2040.
Who cares. The problem is us going along with hooking ourselves up to the super powerful electrical grid. Our bodies cannot handle it which is why they want to inject us. Metamaterials baby. Is that the future you want? If you don't have seizures and croak while they figure out this load balancing act. You're already tethered to the cloud. Isn't it great?;

But what about slowdown in AI progress which is happening due to so many reasons? Are you taking it into consideration when making such an optimistic prognosis?
slowdown in ai progress is total nonsense , 1000x efficiency from gpt3 to 4o in 4 years , deepminds alphaproof and geometry2 are on another level , every week the benchmarks are being superseded . media has goldfish memory and are like ok but what product has come out recently , ai progress is not products its in actual research , developing good curated synthetic data for areas that the current models are lacking . use claude or gpt to make a chart for you of nearly any statistic in the domain and its at least 2x linear progress , not quite exponential but impressive regardless .
there is no chance for a slow down.. humanity has arrived at the final race, where there are 2 competing factions (perhaps the true reason war has always been part of the human condition) where China and the US each have no choice but to race for the finish line, as second place means being put in checkmate... in perpetuity. so by virtue of this competition, AGI is assured, and then ASI
@@andrewrozhen513 1. Data Scarcity i dont think is an issue , human data isnt that good to begin with and has lots of issues of baking in human flaws . Human curated Synthetic data is much better , and the SelfPlay systems like deepmind's Alpha* are even more ideal . i think really there is more data then we can deal with the issue is we arent collecting it effectively at the moment . 2. Compute Limits , compute efficiency is still nearly exponential the nvidia Blackwell chips reinforced that curve , there is a definite limit ahead in the current substrate , however historically that pressure forges the next paradigm . also potential for another neural network architecture that is more efficient , transformers arent the best they just happen to fit our current gpu hardware well . 3. Power Constraints , im less informed about this , tho heard data centers struggling already . it may be that they actually need dedicated nuclear power for next gen centers , however it also seems like an issue of the centralized network architecture , much more ideal would be distributed federated training to spread the demand . Energy does seem super important for everything that more funding and developments should be made , more nuclear , while awaiting fusion .
I enjoy listening to these videos. I learn from them. Something that caught my ear, that I also wanted to comment on, was the mention of AI (specifically the Go playing AI called AlphaGo) and Lee Sedol. Lee Sedol and AlphaGo are discussed shortly after 1:03:13 in the "Centaur" portion of the video ("The Future of Human-AI Collaboration"). Perhaps Lee Sedol gained more insight, but it seems he realized it was impossible to fathom the insights from the AI (AlphaGo) perspective. According to the "Lee Sedol" article at Wikipedia: "On 19 November 2019, Lee announced his retirement from professional play, stating that he could never be the top overall player of Go due to the increasing dominance of AI. Lee referred to them as being "an entity that cannot be defeated". In a 2024 New York Times article, Lee said, "losing to AI, in a sense, meant my entire world was collapsing." He also offered additional insight behind why he retired, "I could no longer enjoy the game. So I retired." "
You could have movies that no longer need subtitles or dubbing in another language. You can have the AI translate an English speaking actor into any language with an authentic foreign accent as well as the AI editing the mouth movements to flawlessly match the words. You could be in Japan watching the Avengers with all the cast speaking perfect Japanese with perfect mouth movements to match. Just think how big your audience would grow. Insane.

our podcast was a profound exploration of the transformative potential of AI and robotics. It’s clear that you both possess a unique ability to envision and articulate the future. However, the magnitude of the impending changes demands a concerted, global effort. I believe a collaborative think tank, comprised of the world's leading minds in these fields, is imperative. This consortium could serve as a beacon, guiding humanity through the uncharted territory we’re about to enter. Your leadership in convening such a group could be a defining moment in human history. The stakes are incredibly high. Our collective future depends on our ability to harness these technologies ethically and beneficially. Your insights and expertise are essential to this endeavor.
We most definitely need an in-depth insight into the consequences and risks all of that this poses! Examples are needed for us less imaginative folk out there. Access to intelligence is a wonderful phrase but meaningless to us who are clueless on how to utilize this free intelligence? Software is more understandable in applications but what about the hardware business world, how do we tap into this available intelligence so as to enhance our business efforts?
Where do you get the material, water, energy and waste sites for all of these robots and their electrical infrastructure? On top of what already exists because until there's replacement, there will be addition. There's no way we have this boom without solving in parallel the ecological overshoot and energy shortage issue.
Are you serious - we have loads of natural resources to build these. We have 1.5 Billion cars globally today using much more material than a humanoid robot.
So what is empathy and connection? Is it someone or AI reflecting back who you are and how you are, your filters, your needs, your likes, dislikes etc - is that it? Is trust built on someone who says what we want to hear?
If there are two people I trust to implement this tech in the best possible way, it's you two. Keep Elon in check. Make this world abundant and a reflection of your wonderful morality and goodness.
I am not agree sir I think we will get more closer as much among our species but also with artificial life form ,may only one thing takes time for AI and that is capable of high wisdom but that humans are not capable neither except 0.000001% of us despite the fact that we have it deep dawn .
I work in the library, so I'm curious about how things will be. Also, I'd love an AI companion to chat with during the day to improve my life balance and food. 15 years sounds so long. Thank you for the interview.
In 10 years, owning a humanoid robot will be like owning a car today. There’ll be tons of options from different companies, and people will probably even take out robot loans, haha!
Emad is great, I wish he did more interviews. His paper was solid and he's very consistent with his tone. I know it was his thoughts and I would've used AI to write it as well. I just think I would have taken out 3/4" of the "not just". The uneducated resisters disregard anything AI, they can't see the creativity and intelligence of the author. Somehow it's different then an author using an editor.
Great video and great conversation. You mentioned UBI. Much better than UBI is UBS (Universal Basic Services) including free socialized education, quality social housing, quality health care, dental care, elder care, day care, free public transportation, full pensions and a job guarantee for anyone with a good wage and full benefits. All paid for by the govt. How to pay for it all? If you understand MMT then you already know it can all be easily paid for by the national govt with no need to raise taxes because ..surprise!.. national taxes do not pay for national spending (all national spending is the creation of new currency out of thin air and by govt decree). If you don't know MMT then now is the time to learn. Then you'll know the truth of how money really works. The national govt is nothing like a household because only the national govt can issue the currency. The national debt exactly equals the private surplus. And there are well established ways to easily control inflation. MMT plus democratic eco socialism means a sustainable healthy planet where all humans thrive with a good, productive life. So it's democratic eco socialism or extinction; the choice is ours.
Maybe you'd like to explain how you came to this conclusion? Like what's the data that led you to this? After all, chat gpt, which is arguably one of the most advanced models, hasn't really proved itself to be all that useful. I think machine learning has application, but to claim that we're on the precipice of human level intelligence is just not supported by the evidence.
AI+Robots will replace all the middlemen. They'll make the final product for the final user. People won't "need" you to "do" something for them and you won't either. Everyone will ask AI+Robots for whatever they want. People will interact not in a merchant exchange but for the sake of social interaction.
Does anyone recall? 10 years ago when 3D printing was going to revolutionize our personal lives? We were all going to have 3D printers in our houses and they were all going to produce most of the things we needed? I'm not saying that AI, which is a misnomer for current approaches to machine learning, is going to turn out the same way. However, there's no reason to believe it won't turn out the same way. No one has given us a use case where this technology consistently produces returns.
Yes, there will be new types of jobs as yet uncreated. The problem is humans will have to compete with robots & AI for them, and the robots/AI cost pennies to employ. Human wages keep banks, the housing market & the stock market afloat.

Your character has retrieved the Halberd of A.I. which adds +6 to all base stats and saving throws and grants Parallel Processing level IIV.
The key here is that you already know the mechanics and language in which you are interacting. You are now the project manager that you wish you had.
@@VastCNC For about 2 years max, until AI levels up and leaves you sitting back at Breeze House eating a cheese wheel.
Preach!!!!

"we will be able to end poverty" we as a species could do that now but choose not to, how will it be any different?
Someone will find a way
We continue to raise the floor
It will be more like we will be able to increase poverty. Finally ruling class will be able to exert complete control over masses
Exactly.

What a fascinating YT video - such a privilege to listen to.
The most important thing imo is automating most government bureaucracy first so there’s no one “giving out” ubi, as its an automated process

The man is full of it.
So in all this it is key that you give glory unto the rightful source of who is The Creator, King Jesus, and not be fooled into thinking man supercedes His authority by exclaiming that 'man is god'

can’t wait to see how Aliagents evolves, this project has serious potential in the AI space

Well, still 14 hour days and caffeine. But 12-14 papers a day (in a subject I have twenty years of experience in, mind you). Higher quality. Won't win a novel prize, but if I halved my output and doubled my creativity, there absolutely could be one or two patentable ideas per day.

@@zzzzzzz8473 I agree but what about such a slowing factors like: Data scarcity, computing limits and power constraint?

Chat gpt5 will be very telling as to whether we're facing a slow down.
I enjoy listening to these videos. I learn from them. According to the "Lee Sedol" article at Wikipedia:
"On 19 November 2019, Lee announced his retirement from professional play, stating that he could never be the top overall player of Go due to the increasing dominance of AI. Lee referred to them as being "an entity that cannot be defeated". In a 2024 New York Times article, Lee said, "losing to AI, in a sense, meant my entire world was collapsing." He also offered additional insight behind why he retired, "I could no longer enjoy the game. So I retired." "
Great video again!
I definitely want to be the first one on the block to own a humanoid robot.
Insane.
OMG!! Yes please someone build the AI powered voting guide!!!!! We will name it Jefferson 😊
Emad dropping truthbombs !
😂
He should write a book !
Remember the last time Emad was raving about AI, two years ago?
yeah thats the key, open source, standardized models, will allow models to work together, creating a huge network of swarm intelligence of different expert AI
our podcast was a profound exploration of the transformative potential of AI and robotics.
I 100% agree with you on the Voting 🗳️ @1:15:00
The government will fight tooth and nail to stop it. The government is soo corrupt
This is a great conversation and makes the future look very bright
Rise of the luddites. But let's try it anyway so we can smash it.
🎉Thank you, Eye opening.
Unless those robots are fully designed and debugged as of today, none of them will be showing up in 2025, period.
So what is empathy and connection? Is it someone or AI reflecting back who you are and how you are, your filters, your needs, your likes, dislikes etc - is that it? Is trust built on someone who says what we want to hear?
Everyday is a new day, a new dawn and a new us. The water that flowed down the river never returns
to the same place again.
Very informative, thank you
If there are two people I trust to implement this tech in the best possible way, it's you two. Keep Elon in check. Make this world abundant and a reflection of your wonderful morality and goodness.
I don’t think nobody is getting the predictions right. This is the last invention man will ever make
The earth will not need humans when AI is fully here...
I am not agree sir I think we will get more closer as much among our species but also with artificial life form ,may only one thing takes time for AI and that is capable of high wisdom but that humans are not capable neither except 0.000001% of us despite the fact that we have it deep dawn .
The PEOPLE-HELPING-PEOPLE “Profile of PETER & ELON MUSK is making the WORLD a better PLACE !
I work in the library, so I'm curious about how things will be. Also, I'd love an AI companion to chat with during the day to improve my life balance and food. 15 years sounds so long. Thank you for the interview.
I wouldn't be surprised if AI eventually makes libraries obsolete. It's a sad future they are setting us up for.
In 10 years, owning a humanoid robot will be like owning a car today. There’ll be tons of options from different companies, and people will probably even take out robot loans, haha!
Dear Emad and Peter, what do you both think about Sentient AI?
Emad is great, I wish he did more interviews. His paper was solid and he's very consistent with his tone. I know it was his thoughts and I would've used AI to write it as well. I just think I would have taken out 3/4" of the "not just". The uneducated resisters disregard anything AI, they can't see the creativity and intelligence of the author. Somehow it's different then an author using an editor.
I remember the nft guys used the word ‘creative/creativity’ as much… where are they now?😂
Great video and great conversation.
Here here!
@@alan2102X A fellow democratic socialist? I bow to you. 😎😇 We'll train an AI on all of Marx's writings. 😁
@@advaitc2554 you want CBDCs?
1:44:25 editor messed up; was waiting for the cut to Emad.
With the amount of information available AI might be able to balance the budget and use of funds our government consistently mismanages.
Lately I've used it to help with coding and there's no way I'd go back to doing it from scratch by hand. it saved me weeks of work.
Yes, there will be new types of jobs as yet uncreated. The problem is humans will have to compete with robots & AI for them, and the robots/AI cost pennies to employ. Human wages keep banks, the housing market & the stock market afloat.
Aliagents is combining AI with tokenization in a way that could redefine the industry
emad should make his own channel, his voice is somewhat made me calm and want to sleep...
