I am looking for a soft, comfortable shoe primarily for brisk walking only (or later on very slow jogging since I am a beginner looking to lose weight). Also, I suffer from heel pain and have wide toes. So does the downshifter 12 has decent cushion on heel and midsole? And hope it is not very hard on steps and folds as per the foot shape well?
Also, there is option for wide variant in this shoe so I can prefer it.
Pls suggest.

@@k.pratyush Hi Kumar, since I wasn't getting a clarity on Nike downshifter and unavailability of the same too, I tried brands such as Skechers, Brooks, Xtep, Nike (other model) and finally bought Brooks Adrenaline GTS 22 wide version from Flipkart at a great deal price under 5k. Brooks is internationally renowned for their running shoes and also comes in a wide variant. For me, it is comfortable and has a wider toe option.

on a serious note, what surface u run on bro ki 300 km nahi tik raha downshifter. the shoe tread is quite non abrasive, can easily go till 600 kms too.
