Mario Party 3. A game that takes place in a toy box, has a story mode which sees you battling your way to becoming the superstar of the universe, and the music is so stinking good!
The game looks phenomenal and I'm gonna buy It regardless, but I'm just hoping that Pauline is playable in the game, maybe as an unlockable character or something. She hasn't been in any of the Mario Parties on the switch, I think it's time for her to shine
I don't know if they are having issues with the proportions needed for this game or the outfit, but it is really weird she' was not in the trailer, I really wish she is playable alongside PomPom since they are my favorite Mario characters

FINALLY A GUY THE WHO DOESN'T HATE MARIO PARTY 9!!!!!!! Like seriously they look at the cars and straight up called it bad, they forgot the cool bosses, side modes and the Minigames, this game deserves a bit of appreciation
The car mechanic of Mario Party 9 and 10 is good for people who want to ride together and reach the goal to the bonus, and bosses! I still love the good old mario party mode style
I liked Mario Party Superstars. I just wish they did more with it, especially adding more boards and minigames and there are too many Lucky Spaces. I was very excited to play I remember back in 2021 and on the release date and feel disappointed that they are moving on from the game.
In my opinion Mario Party 3 and 6 have always been the best... why? because of the items! Items is what make the game the most fun, because they let the player do strategies while playing on the boards. Is not simply buy the star, but how the use of items can turn tables and stuff, and that was present in Superstars but super limited. In Mario Party 3 there were 2 types of stores with huge item catalogs that let you buy the stuff that you could use in your advantage in the next turns; in 6 stores sell 3 items but those were random, and during the night they were either more expensive or have great discounts. However in Superstars the items were a few, some only appeared in some boards, and some appeared after like 10 turns have passed thats what I believe we need the most (and also they need to bring back 50 turns lol) Also it seems Ninji will be unlockable character 'cause he wasn't in the intro screen and as you said many are missing, like Dry Bones, Diddy Kong and Hammer Bro
Im a mario party 9 fan too! :) the alternative minigames like the flower planting or cave mine minigame countdown thing were absolutely fun!!! It makes for any board or mechanic (that i didnt even hate tbh, just prefer the solo one more) Also, yeah give us Pauline pls

I get it if people don‘t like the car mechanic but it had 7 boards that were very well designed and all had a different things that made the different boards iconic (e.g the rising lava, the Boo that follows you or the Bob-Omb). The Minigames were also great and I liked the Solo mode as well. People only focus on the negative aspects of that game and don‘t see all the positive ones

10 characters in Superstars wasn't bad to me. Brought me back to the N64 days, which was kinda the whole point of the game. It gave us great boards back, great music, great minigames. It is a ton of fun. I did not agree with your opinion on the game at all lol
Well I mean Mario Party 9‘s party mode really did suck though, I guess the story mode was kinda okay, but not being able to move around on your own is just weird. Also regarding Mario Party Superstars, I find it good, but feel like most of the good things about this game are just because it‘s just remakes of the old boards and mechanics, so basically nothing new, so I‘m still a bit skeptical regarding the new entry, but from what we have seen so far it seems good, and the (in my opinion) most important feature in Mario Party games, Chance Time, also seems to still exist (I was worried about that but it turns out when you look closely at the trailer you can see Chance Time spaces).

To say Superstars, at the very least, has been viewed negatively is just incorrect! - - - Anyway, rant over lol. Jamboree is really looking like another great game, buidling upon the great groundwork that had been re-layed by Superstars. I LOVE that the boards are *actual* boards now, being big and diverse unlike in Super. And I really hope we get more unlockable characters like in Super, as that did have some! Ninji is clearly one, and I think Pauline, Diddy Kong, and Dry Bones are the ones that would both make the most sense, and make people the most happy. Excited to see what becomes of this game!

Umm Mario Party 9?....You know, as the first in the series to do something different from the 8 previous entries, at the time I found it innofensive and it did had its charm. The extra modes were indeed great, it had a much more developed storymode and presentation-wise it was a big step from previous entries. Plus, some of its ideas like the bosses were indeed nice... But...as a long time fan (I have been there since 1998) I felt that there was DEFINITELY something missing. I didnt hate the new car mechanic, but it just wasnt as deep as the classic board gameplay and because of that it didnt felt as compelling and even with all of it's charms, Mario Party 9 just fell off quite quickly for me... In retrospect, I do resent it because it represents the decline of the series. Nintendo did not take the negative feedback from that game and decided to make Mario Party 10 with the same mechanics and you got to remember that Nintendo didnt actually course correct after 10, they continue to experiment with the series on the 3ds...and quite usuccessfully in my opinion. So yeah, Mario Party 9...I dont know. Must be your first Mario Party game if you like it so much.... Mario Party Superstars regardless of its minimalistic content represents the return to form to a series I have loved since I was kid. I have high hopes for Jamboree as Ndcube's first original Mario Party title in the classic fashion after Superstars.
If we DO get updates for this game, I want them to add Prince Florian and a Poplin from Mario Wonder! They arr pretty much canon characters, and if Ninji made it, so can they!

Why stick to 10 characters and 5 boards? As time progresses and sequels come out games should get better and better. Sticking to the same formula and content as older entries is straight up sad and unacceptable. Then there is Smash bros Melee vs Smash Bros Brawl, bigger roster, more modes, but the fan base largely prefered Melee. Melee the game that has the highest skill ceiling of any Smash Bros.... Also I don't know where you come up with the nonsense of keeping the same formula is "unacceptable", especially when that sort of thinking led us to MP9 and MP10. It was in going back to the old ways/formula that got us Superstars (which is superior to Super), and in going back was the main reason why people were even intrested Super Mario Party in the first place, before they we were let down. I love 8 and superstar. 10 and 9 is ok: 10 little better just mostly for the bowser mode. But super Mario party was bad. My lass fav with 7 and gameboy. But think next be bad because they only show movement control. Hope pro control can be use.
yeah superstars was not amazing but will say its better than anything past and 8 and 8 itself. Also better than mario party 1. I think the game is very good and did get the series back on track but jamboree looks like its really pulling everything.

The character roster and ally space are the only reasons why I love Super Mario Party. Also, they REALLY need to put Pauline in the game.

I love 8 and superstar. 10 and 9 is ok: 10 little better just mostly for the bowser mode. But super Mario party was bad. My lass fav with 7 and gameboy. But think next be bad because they only show movement control. Hope pro control can be use.

yeah superstars was not amazing but will say its better than anything past and 8 and 8 itself. Also better than mario party 1. I think the game is very good and did get the series back on track but jamboree looks like its really pulling everything.
