Great tutorial, but I have an issue. When I rotate the character by either the main control or the waist, the hose stays pointing in the same\origin direction- It doesn't rotate with the rig. I'm an animator, not a rigger, but I know enough to usually get me through what I'm working on.

Hello, thanks for the video. What type of solver is your ikhandle set on for that use ? Any particular modification in its default settings ? Thank you

Default settings are fine for this - and most things, really. The RP (rotate plane) solver is what you typically want to use; the other SC (single chain) solver is only used in specific circumstances.

@@RossReaganAnim thank you. I'm asking because in class we used the sc solver a few times and I thought maybe it was common

hi! this video helped a lot! but i have one question, im doing a robot dog set up and there are wires connecting in between two joints of his leg. So i made the joints for the wire and set the ik and it all works great, but once i bind the wire and the joints together, the wire will fly off when i move the leg of the dog. Do you know why? (the dog's leg is also ik)
