All carbon BMW M4 GT3 Testing at Misano World Circuit: Pit Exit, Accelerations & Turbo Sounds!

- Here's a video about two BMW M4 GT3 cars of the Italian team Ceccato Racing in nothing but carbon testing at Misano World Circuit during a couple of test days organized by Kateyama earlier this year.
The new GT3 car succeeds the BMW M6 GT3 and it's based on the latest generation of BMW M4 G82 from which it also maintains the engine. The 3.0-litre, twin-turbo straight-6 P58 engine is able to produce up to 590hp (limited according to the class' Balance of Performance) and it's linked to a Xtrac 6-speed gearbox.

Bozzy you are able to capture a sense of velocity and inertia that just never comes through on official broadcasts. These longer stationary and tracking shots really communicate just how genuinely quick race cars can maneuver through a corner or chicane. Compared to typical live coverage this looks like 1.5x speed! 😯

Despite being quieter than the rest of the grid, these M4 GT3s produce a nice turbo spool/bov sound; if you're spectating from the passenger side!

ACC needs to update the sound of this thing, woeful in it's current state. It sounds alright here
Kunos are too bad at making sounds, there are far better sound mods in the original Assetto Corsa than ACC.

Sinister looking. But, it'll never beat the awesome V8 sound of the older M3 GTR from the early 2000s.

There are remnants of BMW's M color on the pillars of this machine. The fact that it is now running with the M color stripped from the surface of the cowl suggests that it may not be a new machine, but a used one acquired from somewhere.
Just the remnants of the livery used last year by the Italian team Ceccato Racing, which was basically based on BMW M colours. This video is from earlier this year during a pre-season test, so they just removed the old livery to clean the sponsors which are different for 2023 (due to a different drivers line-up)

Hate it on the road car, but on the race car it looks great. Mostly, I think, because having such a large inlet for racing makes a lot more sense in my head lol. On the road car it looks like a face with huge nostrils, or beaver teeth.😅
Also helps that the race car is a lot lower which fits the grill shape better I feel. Doesn't look great when there's a whole bunch of ground clearance
