Teddy has been "highly coached" to do a half squat The point of a high bar squat is to get more knee flexion, not artificially limit forward knee travel

    • @mattc4266

@@mattc4266 I think the learning curve would be too long. I personally use the front rack position but I don't feel like it is superior enough to spend the time learning it TBH. I only know it because when I used to throw we did a lot of weightlifting as part of our strength and conditioning.

Leonidas Arkona doing 360kg frontsquat, his best backsquat til now is like 400 bis I'm sure now he can handle 430 to 440 highbar narrow stance, that's his oersonal technique, but I'm sure with a wider stance lowbar he can squat up 500 with some practice, but when he feels stronger in this technique it's up to him, he's fucking strong who am I to tell him something, would be cool, if you would reach out to him

@@WenningStrength But even if you were tired, squat depth should be lower, right? The weight was still light, so should be easy enough to squat deeper. I just would have liked to have seen the proper way to squat, which includes proper depth. I know not that people who aren't training for powerlifting don't necessarily need to squat deeper, according to Dr Stuart McGill, but I'd like your take on this. Thanks.
