@@CaliGainz It's all about software! iPhone 13 pro max has 12Mp camera, But the pictures are great. Huawei bringing back notch again. May be something special And they are collaborating with Xmage. We can expect something new. Stay tuned ❤️
Great video like always. It's incredible how the software optimization by Huawei can surclass a most performing hardware of Xiaomi 12s ultra. Hope xiaomi take a note of this for work on this side.

I am glad that more main camera images were included in the comparison than in the previous one. I think the Mate 40 pro is even better than the p50 pro, I would also take a test with it

Apparently not only Samsung but Xiaomi managed to be left behind this year... like Oneplus among others... many choices made by the manufacturers and many inconsistencies between colors, focus, lens transition, HDR, in short, a lot of neglect and that's why I think that this year everyone should think carefully before changing their devices, even because the year will end soon and maybe the chipset name is really good, because, this 8Gen1 afffff....
Hopefully at least the new iphone will bring some progress over the previous generation.

Hello, you did a good job, but I would ask you to do the same comparison but with the camera menu, because the menu is different and sometimes you cannot access the video mode in pro mode. I would also like to know the maximum fps speed and the resolution and especially how long you can shoot at maximum fps. I would also like to know if it is possible to work in wb manually on video. FilmicPro is fully compatible with both? Thank you

P50 Pro is easily superior to the Xiaomi in every photo. The Xiaomi is very blurry in all the photos and P50 Pro clear and sharp and better definition.

Huawei would rule the Android world if there were no US sanctions against it. That's how good Huawei is.
Can you do manual mode with ISO set to 50 on both phones so we can check the pure sensor performance rather than computational photo?

@@thingythingy9507 No, there are much tech reviews where you can read exactly this, for example DXOMARK (P50 Pro Zoom 149 points, Samsung S22 Ultra Zoom 137 points),... The best zoom smartphone is definitely the P50 Pro!

Yes, the Kirin is way better compared to the snapdragon variant. Although the SD version is not bad either, the experience is good on both, however, camera wise the kirin wins 🏆

P50 Pro Snapdragon had underwhelming battery in my opinion
P50 Pro is all around better but the colours are a bit too washed out at times

video recording at night where AI can't do much magic, physics matters and 12s Ultra certainly does better with the huge sensor
If you really wants pictures with good hdr on Xiaomi, u should stop using authentic mode because this mode has almost no post processing. Try vibrant mode with ia off to avoid neon colors. That's the best way.
Another way to force hdr to always kick in on xiaomi is using night mode. In daylight it forces hdr 100% of the time. But it only works for landscapes. Avoid this trick on people pics.

When you bought the phone and started this comparison cause this is not the real results on 12 s ultra it should be better than p50 pro device you have lacks some big updates of camera cause xiaomi 12 s ultra is far away from p50 pro there is something wrong i saw a lot of comparisons between these two and 12 s ultra was better in every aspect you have to remake this comparison again after updates of 12 s ultra it still a new device p50 pro had all its big major updates of camera and photo/video processing while xiaomi 12 s ultra still a new device there is something wrong about this comparison either in terms of updates or you played with some settings on camera wrongly this is not the real performance of 12 s ultra

You're right. Xiaomi is underperforming here. It supposed to be an easy winner but it isn't. Bravo Huawei! (a slowly dying company though, r.i.p. :()

It's obvious that p50 pro use warm tone colors to beautify the pictures and reveals more details and you used leica authentic to show us natural mode of xiaomi 12 s ultra but to show us that p50 pro is better with warm tone colors what joke😂😂😂😂

Very biased against Xiaomi as always. It’s very evident that the shots of the Huawei are overly processed. Details of the Xiaomi are very natural that is why less sharpening. If you are going to compare the 12s ultra against other phone, you should be using Leica vibrant
