You did not test the monochrome sensor at all? P50 Pro has a 1/1.5" monochrome sensor, that should absolutely destroy any other camera phone.

How did you get p50 pro? It's not available in the the UK, same as vivo x70pro plus.
I got the P50 Pro via Aliexpress when the prices where still acceptable.
As for the X70 Pro Plus. We will see. So far its a bit expensive

great detailed comparison. So as usual the Huawei is better for photography and iphone is better for video. Correct me if im wrong but night mode does not kick in automatically on the huawei ever, at least if its like the mate 40 pro, night mode must be activated manually. That is probably because the sensor is so big that 99% of the time its not needed anyway.

Not sure what you mean. Huawei Cloud is available but only accessible via Browser on the Macbook. iCloud is specific to iPhones not available on the P50 Pro

But Don’t use background blur filter on huawei, you can use the “apperture mode” and switch it to video… its perform better than background blur filter…
(I don’t know its available on P50 Pro, but its available on Mate 30 Pro, P40 Pro, and Mate 40 Pro, I Think its available too on P50 Pro)

Mikrofon? Das ist ein Video Editor Problem. Das übersteuert am Anfang eines Clips immer. Der echte Clip hat das Problem nicht.

Wow, that was an excellent detailed comparison. One small point about the p50pro sensor. It's not using the RYYB sensor this time but uses the monochrome sensor to assist the main one at night
Yeah that depends if you have the IMX700 which is RYYB or IMX766.
Huawei officially told me its IMX766 which means with RYYB. But yeah the OV50a would not have it probably.

which one is better when you record videos with loud noise, I'm a drummer and I will buy one of these phones tomorros so I can start making some content but this is a HUGE fact I need to considerate, I know how the drums sounds with the iPhone and I like it, the only problem is.... Huawei invented the night mode and then decided they don't even need it to make amazing low light photos. The high iso stacked images works flawlessly. In my P30 pro, a phone from 2019, I can take pictures in almost 100% dark using iso 409600 with stacked images and it looks like day, and without noise, it's impressive. Macro mode is something I also use a lot since 2018 with my previous Mate 20 Pro. Periscope zoom camera since 2019. The integration between the proprietary chipset with software makes the Android experience even more fluid than the pixel, since Huawei is the only Android in which the navigation with gestures is fluid and not bad implemented like in Samsung phones.
Huawei was always at least 2 years ahead in tech, a pity this US boycott against them.
I wanna replace my P30 pro and would go to the P50 pro without even thinking, so much I like their devices, but I'm considering how to live without google services, since I pay for many of them.

Exactly my thoughts! I also love my p30 pro and would like to upgrade. Had a p40 pro for a week but returned it cause missing google services lacks in each step you do on the phone. I installed an app for the google services - but this is not the same and works really buggy. I think my next phone will be a xiaomi mi 12 ultra cause they will release soon with a 1 inch sensor in a smartphone as I saw. This will be amazing and make iphone look like a toy

Yeah 3.5x optical periscope zoom. Combined with the large sensor and pixel count aswell as the combination of large monochrome and large main cam it uses special algorithms that give you 10x hybrid zoom. That hybrid zoom works much better then previous versions. Just take a look at my zoom tests

Thats an issue of the video editor. For some reason the audio clips at the beginning.

You mean the camera module? Huawei officials from China said its the IMX766. Though people are speculating it might be the OV50a. I did not open up the phone to check.

Reviewers get scared of talking down the iPhones so they don't lose iPhone subscribers on their channel even when they can clearly see the other phone brand winning the iPhone. The IPhones are no gods.
Good that I don't have iPhone subscribers.
I do real tests and show them side by side and tell my honest opinion. I mean the iPhone is not bad by any means but if you compare the best of the best you have to take a very close look.
The iPhone wins probably in the U.S. as there is no Huawei and Samsung is in most parts worser than Apple.
Xiaomi is also not directly available in the U.S. so that explains most reviewers praisng the iPhone there.
Other reason might be there are not so thoroughly testing the devices or have other specific use cases that I don't emphasize so much.
But yeah thats a bit speculation on my side.

Huawei really did a huge mistake or cruel market move to put so shitty ultrawide and 3.5 instead of 5x zoom. They could also keep 32mpx selfie, and 5G, then it would've been absolutely perfect phone on the market.
